Don’t write off Kyiv, but if Vladimir Putin attacks "any day" under cover of wargames in Belarus starting this week, President Biden will have an instant decision to make. Ukraine does not want U.S. or NATO ground forces. They’ve already lost 14,000 in the eastern region conflict with Russia and want to fight Russia themselves. However, Ukraine will need help, fast. U.S. commanders would receive word of a Russian attack in less than five minutes. NATO’s ready. Is Biden? Biden’s chaotic response to the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan still casts doubt on his skills as commander in chief, and the...

A handful of Democrat-led states over the past 24 hours have announced plans to drop their mask mandates in the coming weeks, and Republicans are claiming politics are at play. New Jersey, New York, California, Oregon, Connecticut and Delaware have all announced plans to roll back their mask requirements, just within the last day. 'I'd love to see whatever internal polling went around the Democrat Party last week - it's certainly no coincidence that Democrat-run states are dropping mandates as fast as they can!,' Rep. Kevin Hern, R-Okla., told DailyMail.com. The Biden administration, however, still recommends indoor masking for schools...

The federal agency that oversees the legal immigration system on Wednesday replaced a controversial Trump-era mission statement that had removed the "nation of immigrants" label, calling the U.S. "a nation of welcome and possibility" in its new creed. In an internal message to agency employees, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Ur Jaddou said the new mission statement better reflects the Biden administration's "commitment to an immigration system that is accessible and humane." Wednesday's change, while symbolic, is part of a broader Biden administration effort to erase remnants of the immigration agenda employed by the Trump administration, which focused...

The Biden administration and Democrats have waged war on the American oil and gas industry, all while Russia expands its oil and gas footprint around the world. Off the bat, resident Biden canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline, stopped leasing on federal lands, and unleashed regulations that have destroyed at least 10,000 good-paying oil and gas jobs. As a member of Congress, it is my duty to inform the public and stand up against flawed regulations that will impede or damage the lives of the American people. With many crises facing the nation like record high gas prices, inflation, and the...

It’s All Good Bakery on Oakland's Martin Luther King Jr. Way looks like many bakeries in the area, offering up sweet potato pie and coconut pineapple cake. But recently, the small neighborhood storefront has become the center of controversy — namely because the building, which was the first headquarters of the Black Panther Party (BPP), might get demolished and rebuilt as a five-story, 20-unit mixed-use housing complex. On Monday evening, dozens of members of the public joined the Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board meeting to discuss the historical significance of the building. After the firm Gunkel Architects presented a mock-up of...

The most widely used methods for transdermal administration of the drugs are hypodermic needles, topical creams, and transdermal patches. The effect of most of the therapeutic agents is limited due to the stratum corneum layer of the skin, which serves as a barrier for the molecules and thus only a few molecules are able to reach the site of action. A new form of delivery system called the microneedles helps to enhance the delivery of the drug through this route and overcoming the various problems associated with the conventional formulations. The primary principle involves disruption of the skin layer, thus...

Fifth Week in Ordinary Time Mark 7:14-23 Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus explains that sinful behavior flows from within our hearts. How often the Bible speaks of the “heart.” By that it means the core of the self, the deepest center of who we are, that place from which our thoughts and actions arise. God wants to penetrate that heart so that he is the center of our souls. But there is something terribly black in the human heart. We are made in the image and likeness of God, but that image can be so distorted by sin as to...
