The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Friday it’s expanding a wastewater surveillance program to enhance efforts to track COVID-19 infections across the United States. “Go on, get the sewer jokes out of your system,” the CDC said in a note in October 2020, shortly after it first launched the scheme, called the National Wastewater Surveillance System (NWSS), which tracks SARS-CoV-2 virus levels in wastewater across 400 sites nationwide to better track the spread of COVID-19 in America. SARS-CoV-2, also known as the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, is the pathogen that causes the disease COVID-19. The CDC...

A judge has granted a temporary restraining order in a lawsuit that sought to end mask mandates in Illinois schools, effectively blocking the masking requirement and other mitigation measures, prompting Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s office to declare it will appeal. Sangamon County Judge Raylene DeWitte Grischow said in a Feb. 4 ruling that the defendants—Pritzker, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), and over 140 school districts—are barred from enforcing school mask mandates, exclusion protocols, and COVID-19 testing requirements. The ruling, which explicitly declares some of the measures “null and void,” comes in a case that saw parents file suit against...

Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said that if then President Donald Trump had imposed martial law in an effort to overturn the 2020 election results, the former president and many of his aides would have wound up behind bars. That's according to Patrick Byrne, the former head of Overstock, who told The New York Times that Giuliani recently explained to him that he advised Trump against imposing martial law because "we would all end up in prison." The Times has previously reported on Giuliani's opposition to instituting martial law. Despite his own endorsement of outlandish conspiracy theories about voter...

“Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people” (Matthew 4:23). Gospel means “good news,” and it was the good news of God’s kingdom—around which all of Jesus’ teaching revolved—that He preached throughout Galilee. His emphasis never veered off into politics, economics, social activism, or resolution of personal disputes, which is as it should be for any faithful gospel messenger. Jesus’ primary teaching was always the divine good news—God’s gracious offer to deliver sinners “from the domain of...

"To keep Chris Cuomo quiet about Jeff Zucker’s unethical dealings with Andrew Cuomo, CNN’s parent company is ready to pay Fredo $9 million in hush money, according to the New York Post. After the former CNN chief resigned in disgrace this week, Breitbart News was the first to connect the dots of the Zucker-Gollust-Cuomo affair. Once it was revealed that Zucker was banging his immediate subordinate, Allison Gollust, who had served as then-Gov. Cuomo’s communications director, CNN’s breathtakingly ethical lapses involving the Cuomo brothers suddenly made perfect sense."

China has nothing like the critical-care facilities of Western cities. In dozens of sprawling metropolises larger than any in the West, China would be faced with millions more severely ill and dying people than it could possibly care for. An early study found the original Wuhan outbreak, if repeated in the U.S., would require 26 intensive-care beds per 100,000 citizens. The U.S. had these beds. China didn’t and still doesn’t. And yet one irony of the leadership’s decision to treat zero Covid as a national triumph has been a slowness to expand hospital capacity. Its go-it-alone approach on vaccine development,...

Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed to the City of Baltimore’s under-performing public schools as a crucial factor in the City’s awful crime rate. “It’s because the schools are so bad that the hordes of young people exiting these schools are left without the knowledge and skills they should have been taught that so many end up committing crimes as a means of survival,” Carlson said. “Since many of these crimes are perpetrated against minorities this part of the community is doubly victimized.” Mayor Brandon Scott (D) called Carlson’s remarks “racist vitriol. Carlson well knows that the ancestors of the...

Community “charity” fundraising company GoFundMe demonstrated they’re woke and fascist at the same time by canceling the Freedom Convoy campaign and promising to send the $9+ million raised to “approved charities.” Now, they’re scrambling to fix the PR nightmare that ensued by moving to refund all donations. The company had hoped that by dropping the news late on a Friday that they’d avoid some of the backlash. But it was quickly seized by conservatives across social media as an example of the totalitarian nature of the left. We didn’t let them oppose freedom without voicing our opinions and pushing to...

Juiced Up Budgets In Other States Attributed To Federal Aid, But Pritzker Claims Credit In Illinois – Wirepoints By: Mark Glennon* This claim by Gov. JB Pritzker in his State of the State speech on Wednesday just might be his biggest whopper yet, which is saying something: “Let me set the record straight for you — our state budget surpluses would exist even without the money we received from the federal government.” To show why that’s untrue, in this column, we will look at Pritzker’s claim in relation to what’s happening and what is being said in other states. Countless...

VAERS is the acronym for the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System. Congress mandated that the CDC create the database to store reports of specific patients having adverse events for those following vaccination. It was designed as a safety signal - if there were suddenly many cases of adverse events clustered around a vaccine, the vaccine would be pulled from market and studied to determine the precise mechanism of harm and if it related to the vaccine. The CDC designed VAERS to be ignored and if used, awkward, time consuming, inefficient and confused. They didn't want to expose any harm that...

We’ve heard an awful lot about the Freedom Convoy in Canada and the burgeoning trucker movement beginning to gain momentum here in the U.S. but not as much about what’s going on in Australia’s capital of Canberra. Australians from all walks of life have descended into Canberra to protest for medical freedom. Citizens who are appalled by the government’s tactics, which have included draconian lockdowns, quarantine camps run by the military, and other restrictions are making their voices heard. Don’t forget that Australia’s vaccine mandates even prevented the world’s number one men’s tennis player, Novak Djokovic, from defending his Australian...

If the omicron surge has you flashing back to earlier in the pandemic, this news won't help matters. Disney's newest cruise ship, the Disney Wish, is delaying its first summertime sailing by six weeks because of COVID-related issues at its shipyard in Germany. Instead of setting sail June 9, passengers will have to wait until at least July 14. The German company that is building the ship says omicron came at a crucial point, delaying its production schedule. The unwelcome news means Disney has to cancel 12 sailings for the season. Many other cruise lines have been affected by the...

Embattled liberal San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin is facing a recall election this summer and the latest headlines out of the City by the Bay this week are unlikely to improve his prospects. The Chief of Police in his city announced on Thursday that the SFPD would no longer cooperate with Boudin’s office in the prosecution of any police officers accused of misconduct or charged with crimes. The reason for this decision stems from the claims of a prosecutor working for Boudin who said that she hid potentially exculpatory evidence from the defense attorneys representing a cop who was...

In the first of a five-part series “Even black men can be fired for not being ‘woke’ enough“, a radio talk show canceled by Canada’s Bell Media and iHeartRadio demonstrates how individuals who are black are only useful to “liberals” when they repeat the slogans of their white intellectual masters. Those who do not conform to the “progressive” stereotype are kicked off the plantation. Writes Jamil Jivani: Wokeness—a political agenda with a superficial commitment to diversity and inclusion—has become a global ideological movement. And, more than government policy, it’s big corporations pushing this agenda and punishing those who refuse to...

Pancreatic carcinoma is a tumor with an extremely poor prognosis for which effective treatments have not yet been found. A team has now discovered a way of making pancreatic tumors treatable with immunotherapy methods using a targeted combination of two cancer drugs. The researchers believe that the promising combined approach could also prove effective with other cancer types. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the most common form of pancreatic cancer. The disease is almost always fatal, with a 10-year survival rate of around 1 percent. The prognosis is especially poor for a subgroup of these tumors known as mesenchymal PDAC...
