$9 million? Almost sounds like an insult when you consider the extent of damage Cuomo can do to his former network.
They need to shut him up and shut him up now — before the next reveal. There’s something much bigger behind this Zucker romance, and they are desperate to keep in under wraps.
On a side note: I’ve noticed an interesting shift on CNN’s site over the past week. There’s been a bigger emphasis on news stories versus the Trump/“insurrection”/Covid fear porn. It’s all still there, but just not as prominent as before.

If it’s true that the incoming owners ‘forced’ Zucker’s termination, would paying out $9M of your cash assets to a former employee as ‘hush money’ not scuttle the sales agreement?
Oh, so there’s more than just Zucker failing to file a thingy with HR. I have a feeling it will all come out. All. Just a matter of how long it will take. They are damage control mode, and probably have been for a while behind the scenes.

It’s all about the money. Cuomo, or rather his legal team, has threatened to sabotage the $43 billion sale of CNN to Discovery. $9 mil is pocket change. He says he’s due $18 mil on the contract they broke when they fired him for misusing CNN news sources to try to help his brother avoid political difficulty in New York. Both of them are due a jail cell, but that’s another story...
Didn’t they want to Criminally Charge Donald Trump for paying hush money to people?? Why should CNN be any different, ARREST THEM NOW!!!
