Ottawa mayor Jim Watson is calling on a Conservative MP to apologize for a supportive visit to the ‘Freedom Convoy’ protesters that have been occupying downtown Ottawa since Friday. Conservative MP Kevin Waugh tweeted that he and some of the party’s Saskatchewan caucus members wanted to show their appreciation for the truckers. “It’s great to see Canadians championing freedom on Parliament Hill,” he tweeted Wednesday night, along with two photos. Virginia’s governor, attorney general, and the superintendent of public instruction have asked to join a lawsuit on behalf of parents fighting to opt their children out of mask mandates at school. One person has died and four were injured after a shooting inside a Greyhound bus on Wednesday. The shooting in Butte County, California, happened outside of an ampm convenience store. The Oroville Police Department said they started getting calls about a shooting around 7:35 p.m. local time. The police department sent first responders, only to find "several subjects suffering from gunshot wounds" who were transported to local hospitals. WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration, seeking to fill a frustrating gap in coverage for COVID-19 tests, Thursday announced that people with Medicare will be able to get free over-the-counter tests much more easily in the coming weeks. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said Medicare will cover up to eight free tests per month, starting in early spring. MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Brandon Isabelle has been charged in the murder of a 27-year-old woman and 2-day-old daughter. According to an affidavit from Memphis Police, on February 1 around 11 p.m. an officer was looking for possible stolen vehicles when they found a tan Chevy Cruze with the driver side window broken out.
