They can do better than that.
The green Cadillac at the link would be nice: https://theverybesttop10.com/cars-with-tank-tracks/

It's only a "four holer"
and gets crappy (or perch, muskellunge, etc.) mileage.
Novel idea though !
It appears to have a liquid beverage holder, but lacks waste discharge !

That’s why I’m not rich. I had a Jeep one time with a hole in the floor and it never occurred to me to turn it into an ice fishing shack. Missed opportunity.

What do ice fish taste like?

When I was little (so, this would have been around 1960!!) we had a Pontiac, and the floor of the backseat was perilously close to being rusted through. I remember my dad always putting us ON the seat, when we would get in the car. And he would warn us to STAY on the seat. This was before the days of car seats and seat belts, etc.

He installed an electric heater, which is powered by an extension cord connected to his house. LOL!
As a side note, if that thing should fall thru the ice, he's got major problems with the Canadian fines that will be assessed.
I think the fine is $5,000 plus he will have the costs associated in salvaging it....

Wouldn’t be unusual for cost of retrieval to be $5000.

In college I drove a VW Bug with a hole in the floor-pan all along the passenger side! The battery was under the rear seat on the right, and it had leaked acid corroding the metal. I had a road sign with a small chain lashed to the hangar by the door keeping the battery in place.
