CommentaryAs I write this, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is committing cultural genocide in Tibet. Chinese leader Xi Jinping has demanded a “new modern socialist” Tibet, as well as the “sinicization” of the Tibetan people. To ensure mass compliance, the CCP has implemented a string of new policies in the supposedly autonomous region. In Tibet, banned activities and practices now include visiting temples and the use of rosary beads, or any other religious objects.According to the Policy Research Group (POREG), Beijing “has appointed special agents in each office and community to report on Tibetan cadres and officials who break these laws.”...

Fentanyl-related drug overdoses in 2020 became the top killer in adults aged 18 to 45—overtaking suicide, vehicle accidents, and gun violence, according to an analysis of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data by nonprofit group Families Against Fentanyl.Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that’s 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, highly addictive, and deadly. Buyers may be unaware that the drugs they buy contain illicit fentanyl, a 2 milligram dose of which can be fatal. The substance is most often manufactured in Mexico using chemicals supplied from China and trafficked across the southern border by Mexican drug cartels. To board a Royal Caribbean cruise, all guests and staff are tested for Covid-19 and anyone 12-year-old or above must be “fully vaccinated.” The idea is that by following these draconian protocols, the cruise should be impervious to Covid-19 cases. That’s simply not the case, as a recent cruise demonstrated. 44 passengers tested positive for Covid despite seemingly no way for the disease to have come onboard. Some are blaming a case that was discovered from the previous sailing of the ship, but Royal Caribbean said that’s not possible. According to USA Today:On Saturday, the CDC said in a statement...

B'nai B'rith Messenger, 17 September 1965 — World Press In A Nutshell By OSCAR GAVRILOVICH COMPILED AND WRITTEN EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE B'NAI B'RITH MESSENGER Arab Links With Nazi Underworld LATELY European papers exposed Arab backing of global nazi and neo-nazi organizations. One of the periodicals, devoting several pages to this unsavory partnership was Paris La Terre Retrouvee. It contends that the first inkling of such a unison came in 1960. when the now deceased former SS-officer Karl-Heinz Priester invited 300 leaders of neo-nazi groups to come to Wiesbaden, West Germany, for an organizational meeting of a world-wide neo-nazi...

The Saskatchewan Trucking Association (STA) is voicing concerns over the federal government’s plans to make vaccine mandates a requirement in the industry, saying it will further harm already strained supply chains. Susan Ewart, executive director of the STA, said the industry is already facing a labour shortage and a vaccine mandate will only make things worse. “Companies in Saskatchewan can’t find drivers either. So this is going to just make it more and more difficult for those companies to be able to have strong business operations,” said Ewart during a phone interview on Tuesday. On Dec. 7, the Minister of...

cientists are warning an Antarctic glacier could collapse and cause sea levels to raise at least a foot in the next decade. The scientists said Monday at the American Geophysical Union the Thwaites glacier, which is the size of Florida, could collapse in the next three to five years. The ice shelf holding the glacier in place is quickly developing cracks due to the warm water hitting it, according to the scientists. "There's going to be a dramatic change in the front of the glacier probably within less than a decade," Ted Scambos, a senior research scientist at the Cooperative...

Putting churches on sale is something the Russian Orthodox Church cannot approve of anywhere and under any circumstances, said Archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, Secretary for Inter-Orthodox relations of the Department for External Church Relations, in an interview with the RIA Novosti information agency. Several days ago, Garo Paylan, deputy of the Turkish parliament and member of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party, condemned the attempted sale of two Orthodox church buildings — a Greek Orthodox church in Bursa and a Syrian Orthodox church in Mardine. He urged the Turkish Minister of culture and tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, to intervene in the situation....

PA libel: Israel “exported” Coronavirus to the PA Israel “used the virus as a new weapon” to destroy the PA Abbas’ advisor: “Allah is liable to bring down punishment on everyone, on all the people who are silent facing injustice, agree with injustice, and defend the oppressors… I think that today we are seeing the realization of this… All of humanity… is being included in one punishment, in this disaster [of the Coronavirus]… Is there a greater injustice than the injustice directed against us?”

Americans are increasingly done with mandates in the name of fighting COVID. After almost two years, most have gone back to their pre-pandemic lives and just won’t obey orders from the hysteria echo chamber. Consider Gov. Kathy Hochul’s recent mask-or-vax mandate. More than 30 New York County executives have publicly refused to enforce it, using terms like “Gestapo tactics” and “mask police.” And not just Republican execs: The Democrats in charge of Nassau and Suffolk counties balked, too. ... It’s time for the nation’s leaders to fall back to simply offering advice in most cases: Issuing orders that won’t be...

The Syro-Malabar Church is today one of four major archiepiscopal churches recognized by Rome. The leaders of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church want to introduce a uniform liturgy — but the process is not going smoothly. It’s difficult for Catholics who are unfamiliar with the Syro-Malabar Church to understand what’s happening and why it’s proving to be so controversial. So CNA turned to Mar Joseph Srampickal, the first bishop of the Syro-Malabar Eparchy of Great Britain, to help explain what’s at stake. What is the Syro-Malabar Church? The Syro-Malabar Church is one of the 23 autonomous Eastern Catholic Churches in full communion with...

The daily new cases in South Africa, Denmark, Norway and the UK — countries with the largest documented omicron burdens — have exceeded their pandemic records. But hospitalisation and deaths appear relatively low, health officials and experts have said... In the UK, the seven-day average of daily new infections rose from 43,000 on December 1 to over 93,000 on December 17, while the seven-day average of daily deaths during this period have remained below 125. This is a fraction of the average 1,200 daily deaths during the peak of the UK’s wave in January this year. South Africa has over...

The new mask mandate will be in place anywhere mass is celebrated, and for all events including weddings and funerals, the Archdiocese of Boston said Thursday. Face coverings are making a comeback for parishes within the Archdiocese of Boston for the holidays. “I will definitely feel safer coming to church knowing people are wearing masks,” said churchgoer Moran Brister of South Boston. “In fact I might not go otherwise.” The Archdiocese announced Thursday that masks will be required for a one-month period before and after Christmas and the New Year season. “Quite extraordinarily we’re seeing yet another spike and we...
