BTW- did you see a few weeks ago when they lighted the Christmas Tree at the WH and LL Cool J introduced zhoa biden and his wife- and they didn’t show up?? I immediately thought of The Sound of Music:

REALITY CHECK: The Von Trapp family openly took a train to Italy and from there sailed to America via steamship. No dramatic escape at night over the Alps.

The Von Trapp family openly took a train to ItalyThe von Trapps wouldn't have taken a train from Austria. Austria had abolished titles, so they were just the Trapps there. But since he was born in what was, at that point, part of the Kingdom of Italy, they were von Trapps there once the train crossed the border.
