A visibly frightened John Heilemann warned Sunday on NBC's "Meet The Press" that former President Trump will be in a stronger position to launch a "coup" in 2024 than he was in 2020 during a discussion about Barton Gellman's piece in The Atlantic titled "Trump's Next Coup Has Already Begun."

The genetic profiles of people associated with Funnelbeaker and Globular Amphora cultures show evidence of being recent migrants to the region. This finding shows that the period between arrival of agriculture and "steppe"-related ancestry, hitherto thought of as an uneventful period, was more dynamic than previously hypothesised......Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age (~6,000-3,700 years ago)...Individuals associated with the Corded Ware culture expanded from Eastern Europe and then assimilated preferentially central European women into their culture, giving them the same burial ritual as members of the immigrating group...Once established, individuals of the Corded Ware culture (4,900-4,400 years ago) changed genetically through...

As critical race theory and school board meetings grab headlines, it’s easy to forget that we are all the product of the childhood education we received. At 26, I rarely think about elementary school lessons. However, I was recently reminded of my favorite book from my fourth-grade class, “Island of the Blue Dolphins” by Scott O’Dell. I saw a reference to Aleuts, or the Russian term for people native to the Aleutian archipelago, and the term instantly transported me back to the book I adored.

Armed smash-and-grab looters broke into a high-end exotic car dealership in Chicago, stealing millions of dollars in watches. "We're here to run a legitimate business, not be a western shootout," Joe Perillo, co-owner of Gold Coast Exotic Motor Cars, told ABC7. Two men reportedly entered the dealership, which boasts a showroom of Lamborghinis and Bentleys, around noon on Saturday. One man was armed with a gun and stood by the entrance of the dealership while the other man used a hammer to smash display cases and allegedly stole about eight luxury watches, Fox 32 reported. "He was smart enough not...

n Absolute Best Tests, our writer Ella Quittner destroys the sanctity of her home kitchen in the name of the truth. She's seared more porterhouse steaks than she cares to recall, tasted enough types of bacon to concern a cardiologist, and ranked potatoes from “most forgettable” to “potatoes we’d like to marry.” Today, she tackles shrimp. Humankind’s first known shellfish feast occurred sometime around 163,000 B.C., in a cave on the southern coast of South Africa. Many millennia later, excavators found a bowl of roughly two dozen edible creatures, including mussels and at least one barnacle that had previously resided...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic Party nominee for president, said Sunday on NBC’s “Today” that if former President Donald Trump won the presidency in 2024, it “could be the end” of U.S. democracy. Clinton said, “If I were a betting person right now, I’d say Trump is going to run again. He seems to be setting himself up to do that, and if he’s not held accountable, then he gets to do it again. I think that could be the end of our democracy. Not to be too pointed about it, but I want people to...

Explanation: Comet Leonard is now visible to the unaided eye -- but just barely. Passing nearest to the Earth today, the comet is best seen this week soon after sunset, toward the west, low on the horizon. Currently best visible in the north, by late December the comet will best be seen from south of Earth's equator. The featured image of Comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) was taken a week ago from California, USA. The deep exposure shows in great detail the comet's green gas coma and developing dust tail. The comet -- across our inner Solar System and only light-minutes...

WASHINGTON — Two studies from overseas released this month contradict the mainstream narrative that the COVID-19 jabs are “safe and effective.” A study from the Queen Mary University in London (QMUL) showed that the U.K.’s data is misclassifying individuals who die within 14 days of being jabbed as “unvaccinated” creating an anomaly. It concluded that it’s “massively exaggerated” to call the shots effective under World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) definitions, and people who submit to the experiment are an “increased mortality” risk. The study used data from the U.K.’s Office for National Statistics (ONS). The...

Imagine being so desperate to demonize the Jewish state that you use Palestinian children and members of the press to stage fake Israeli attacks against civilians. This is the sort of misinformation that not only perpetuates the conflict, but also fuels global antisemitism. pic.twitter.com/XsXqVx6mjV— Yoni Michanie (@YoniMichanie) December 4, 2021

CNN anchor Brian Stelter said Sunday on his show “Reliable Sources” that former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace’s departure “speaks volumes” about Fox News’ increasing radicalism. Stelter said, “This is a shock to the TV news business. Chris Wallace is one of the journalists that is at Fox who stands out like a sore thumb because the network has become more and more radicalized, both in the Trump years and now in the Biden years.”

I'm so furious that I'm about to throw a shoe at my TV screen. Right now, I'm watching the pre-show on Telemundo for the Miss Universe Pageant, which will be broadcast from Israel tonight at 8PM on FOX and on Telemundo.Since it's the 70th anniversary of the pageant, the hosts of the pre-show are reminiscing through the decades and analyzing all of the owners and host countries. When the got to Trump's tenure (1996-2015), one of the hosts, Lupita Jones (who was Miss Universe 1991, representing Mexico) went on full blast, saying that Trump offended and alienated all Latin Americans...

God has so much he wants to give you. “’And try me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it’” (Malachi 3:10, NKJV). He stands in a full storehouse, saying, “I am a giving, loving God, but so few will receive from me. They won’t let me be God to them!’ Of course, we are to thank God for all he has done and given already, but we are not to be...

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol “was driven from the top” by former President Donald Trump. Anchor George Stephanopoulos said, “It seems like every single day, Chris Christie, we’re learning more about what was going on inside the White House in those days leading up to January 6. Most recently this week, this PowerPoint presentation that was sent to Mark Meadows detailing all the ways the White House could interfere in the investigation. It may explain why the former president and his allies are...
