Connecticut’s government will now let residents use a cellphone app to show their COVID-19 vaccination status, The Associated Press reported.
Gov. Ned Lamont (D) said on Friday the new app will be available for residents at the end of the year, saying the app will give restaurants and stores to determine if restrictions need to be put in place.
The state has not imposed a mask mandate unlike other surrounding jurisdictions.

I don’t feel like giving the hill any traffic, but the last report I read from the local news said they were considering it but no decision has been made.
I have no idea what they are trying to say with that. I live in Connecticut and I only heard the news find one restaurant in Hartford that seemed interested in it so far.

CT has mask mandates by individual town.
Even the towns with it have random compliance.
Apps are only useful if people want to use them.
I only know of two with him right now off the top of my head. New Haven, we just had one since August or so, in Hamden which starts on Monday. It was announced On Thursday. So nice Covid agreed to take the weekend off, right?
Why do I think the photo of my vaccination card, which is stored on my phone, won’t satisfy these little martinets?
I keep the original with all my other yellow cards, as any normal person would.

When the state-wide lockdown is lifted, Queensland will allow supermarkets and other businesses providing essential services to implement vaccine passports. The provision could deny those without a vaccine passport easy access to food and other basics.
Queensland will reopen its borders this week. The Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said that once the borders reopen, new health directives will be released, which could be less strict on businesses that have implemented health mandates.
“In the coming days, the Government will issue the guidelines required for business and industry as our border reopens,” she said in a statement.
“This will include information on managing close contacts in the workplace.
“Our objective is to provide an environment where business, particularly essential business, remains open.”
Starting December 17, Queenslanders will be required to show a vaccine passport to enter restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, clubs, cinemas, theaters, museums, libraries, and stadiums.

This was all just supposedly conspiracy theory according to the media and the “experts” at the beginning of the pandemic, or even just a few months ago.

The COVID hysterics here in Oregon are trying to institute an electronic COVID passport as well. The politicos claim it will be “voluntary,” a “convenience.” I’m sure that if it’s instituted, it will quickly become mandatory. Mark of the Beast level stuff. We’re fighting it tooth and nail.
That’s right, lemmings, use the app to upload videos of yourselves goose-stepping and giving Roman salutes to show that you are a loyal servant of Big Pharma fascism.
Oregon is a beautiful state, except for Eugene obviously, but it has a horrible Governor.
