WAUKESHA - A treasured rite of the holiday season turned into a scene of bloody, deadly mayhem late Sunday afternoon as a vehicle plowed into the Waukesha Christmas Parade, killing five people and injuring more than 40 others, authorities said. Shortly before midnight, the City of Waukesha posted to its Twitter and Facebook accounts revised casualty totals. "At this time, we can confirm that 5 people are deceased and over 40 are injured," the statement said. "However, these numbers may change as we collect additional information."

To quote Gomer Pyle USMC, “Surprise, surprise, surprise!” The humongous spending bill awaiting Joe Manchin to sign off on it will cost almost double what the CBO said it would. Why? Because spending programs in Washington DC never get cancelled, they only grow. The Committee For A Responsible Federal Budget estimates that the true cost of Build Back Better is $4.91 TRILLION, up from the stated $2.39 TRILLION. Once they assumed that the programs don’t sunset and get extended. According to their analysis, “We estimate the House Build Back Better Act includes roughly $2.4 trillion of spending and tax cuts...

As families prepare to celebrate a holiday focused on gratitude, many parents say their children aren't as thankful as they should be. Four in five parents in a new national poll agree that children today are not grateful for what they have, with over half of parents worrying that they're giving their children too much and two in five saying they're even sometimes "embarrassed by how selfish their child acts." But most parents do in fact want to raise appreciative kids, with three in four saying it's a high priority to teach their children gratitude, according to the C.S. Mott...

Ever since the Ringside Politics program started 22 years ago, we have enjoyed an annual tradition. Every year, during Thanksgiving week, we announce our Turkey of the Year winner. Our previous award recipients have included both celebrities and politicians, as well as Republicans and Democrats. Our 2020 winner was former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. He was chosen for combining sanctimonious media performances with shady ethical conduct and potentially criminal behavior involving numerous female victims. Eventually, his unacceptable activity involving these women contributed to his forced resignation. Like Andrew Cuomo our 2021 award winner is a real turkey in every...

This is all I wish to repeat about Waukesha:There are and always have been monsters in our midst and sometimes they demand we look at them straight away. Feel free to comment further on them if you wish but I cannot. I need to prevent myself from being overwhelmed. As I’m quite certain that this is not the end yet.The end isn’t clear, but I’m quite certain this isn’t it.Posted from: MOTUS A.D.

Our senile Commander-In-Chief just cannot keep his hands to himself when it comes to a child. This latest video from the Post Millennial says it all. Take a look: (video) If you watch the video, you’ll see that this little girl is having none of what Joe Biden attempting to do. When he tries to walk up and touch her initially, she recoils and turns away. After the president doubles down, attempting to touch her face, simultaneously moving his nose close to her hair, the girl then throws her fist up, forcing him to back off.”-Bonchie, Red State You think?...

Doesn't anyone on the inside of the White House have the guts to tell the emperor that he has no clothes? With Christmas coming, is there any hope that the ghost of the Christmas future will show the man the nightmare he is creating? Where is Moses when you need someone to plead for his people? That's what America needs right now, someone to shout until resident Biden hears - "LET OUR PEOPLE GO!" In fact, if Ben Franklin had gotten his way, the Great Seal of the United States would have featured Moses leading his people through the Red...

Lost in the nationwide grieving by the mainstream media over the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse on all charges stemming from defending himself against violent rioters last summer in Kenosha, Wisconsin was the U.S. House’s passage Friday of the most massive consumer fraud since Bernie Madoff gave creative accounting advice to crooks at Enron.I’m referring, of course, to the fraudulently-named “Build Back Better” bill …which should more accurately be described as the “Biden-Harris-Pelosi Blueprint for Bankrupting America while Encouraging N’er-do Wells to Sit At Home Drinking Colt .45 Malt Liquor and Watching Netflix while Attaching Themselves like Barnacles to Hard Working...

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two armed suspects picked the wrong deliveryman to rob Saturday in Philadelphia's Mayfair section. Police say the victim was leaving his home after dropping off a delivery to his family after midnight on the 3200 block of Longshore Avenue. That's when three suspects attempted to rob him, officials say. Police say the armed men approached the victim and demanded money. The victim then reportedly told the suspects the money was in his car. While the suspects were looking through the victim's car for cash, he pulled out his gun and fired, according to police. "I don't really...

The Kyle Rittenhouse trial has given us an unusual opportunity to contrast uncontestable facts as shown on many video recordings with an endlessly repeated media narrative that seems to exist in an alternate reality. To my amazement, even after two full weeks of livestreamed trial, most notably featuring videos taken on the night at issue and a witness testifying that he had pointed a gun in Rittenhouse’s face, many on the left cling to the prior narrative of the case as though it contains a greater truth about our justice system and racism in this country and therefore cannot be...

There's nothing like a smarmy, smug, leftist who's realized he's cooked his own goose. Which brings us to the case of Chesa Boudin, the district attorney of San Francisco who's effectively legalized shoplifting in the name of "criminal justice reform." He's prompted massive store closures with ugly videos of broad daylight robberies on large and small stores. Boudin's refusal to prosecute has turned San Francisco into another socialist crime-pit, Caracas. And now, like his mentor Hugo Chavez, he's facing a voter recall. Which seems to be concentrating his mind given that he's suddenly changing his tune -- and comically enough,...

This past Thursday, YouGov released a poll showing that 76% of Democrats thought Kyle Rittenhouse was guilty of homicide. Only 5% believed that he was not guilty. Similarly, 69% of blacks thought he was guilty, and only 6% felt that he wasn’t. Rep. Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, wrote on Twitter that the verdict is a “heartbreaking miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by DOJ.” President Biden, who famously called Rittenhouse a white supremacist, also expressed Democrats’ anger: “While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned,...

New video from the Capitol tunnel raises the appalling—but still believable—possibility that the Capitol Police may have killed another woman. After January 6, although the media initially reported that MAGA protesters had trampled Rosanne Boyland to death but, the D.C. coroner attributed it to a drug overdose. Now, though, footage has emerged showing a Capitol Police Officer brutally beating a woman in the Capitol tunnel—a woman who may have been Rosanne Boyland. Julie Kelly has written about a motion for the release of a January 6 prisoner, Ryan Nichols. Nichols, a former Marine with a career as a volunteer search-and-rescuer,...

Darrell Brooks – the alleged driver in the Waukesha parade killings - repeatedly was caught, processed, and intentionally released on violanet crime charges including felony assault just two days before the parade. SNIP The alleged perpetrator is known; the motive, however, is in doubt. Darrell Brooks, a 38-year-old rapper with a long rap sheet, is the alleged driver of the vehicle. Early reports point to two possibilities: either he did this on purpose, as an intentional terror attack, or he and his cronies were fleeing an earlier crime – reportedly, a stabbing – and he made the horrible choice of...

After Sunday’s Christmas parade horror in Waukesha, Wisconsin, an Illinois Democrat appeared to portray the tragedy as a form of payback for Friday’s acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha. "It was probably just self-defense," read one of a series of mocking social media posts from Mary Lemanski, who is listed as the social media director for the Democratic Party in DuPage County, Illinois. Lemanski also describes herself as an acting student with the famed Second City comedy group. "Living in Wisconsin, he probably felt threatened," read another post attributed to Lemanski, referring to the SUV driver in the Waukesha case....

Lately, conservative parents have been laser-focused on K–12 education. And well they should be: perhaps no other issue is as important to our nation's future. But what about college? Those same parents will soon be faced with that very question. And the people who run our public colleges and universities, unlike their K–12 counterparts, are largely unelected and therefore much less accountable to taxpayers. Fortunately, families have options — beginning with recognizing that not everyone has to go to college to be successful. These days, hardworking young people can pursue a number of careers that pay well yet don't require...

Over the past two weeks, I found myself overly invested - perhaps even a bit obsessed - with the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Like all or most of you, I watched in horror as a corrupt prosecution team actively tried to put a teenager in prison for life for the ‘crime’ of defending himself against lunatics who were actively trying to kill him during a violent riot that should never have happened in the first place. Though they had zero actual facts on their side - a fact that became increasingly obvious as the trial progressed...
