Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) suggested that Republicans may not run anyone to oppose Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) when she comes up for reelection in 2024. Cornyn, who is considered a potential successor to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), said he "would be surprised if Republicans tried to unseat her" if she runs for a second term, according to Politico.
