WASHINGTON - While some suburbs grapple with whether or not to maintain or drop indoor mask mandates, the District will drop its own indoor mask mandate starting next week.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser announced on Tuesday that beginning Monday, Nov. 22, the city will no longer maintain its indoor mask mandate – with some exceptions.
Masks will still be required – regardless of vaccination status – in some situations.
Private businesses, for example, can maintain their own indoor mask mandate if they choose to.
Masks will still be required on public transportation, including trains, train stations, airports, buses and ride-share vehicles.

Agree - why the wait? Oh yeah, the “science”
Hey the vaccines have been so successful COVID now only transmits on trains, busses, & planes..
Definitely interesting timing. Maybe there’s a message - JFK didn’t wear a mask and look what happened to him.
Dems about to position themselves into some new COVID Position?
Such a smart virus....it knows....when you’re traveling, when you’re wearing a mask, when you’re walking into a restaurant/airport/biz, etc, or, when you’re eating and drinking.
It knows if you've been good or bad, so be good for goodness' sake.
DC is still muzzling its publik skrewl kuds.

How are wearing masks mandating in one location and not others “science”.
Masks do not block viruses. Viruses are 1,000 times smaller then the weave of face masks.
“In his private emails, Fauci repeatedly told friends and colleagues that surgical or cloth face masks were useless, as the COVID-19 particles were too small to be blocked by simple cloth.”
