Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) pressed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday over the impact of President Biden’s vaccine mandate on federal employees.
What will happen if thousands of the 16,000-17,000 Border Patrol agents at the southern border are sidelined over their vaccination status, he wondered.
“This ties back to your desire to give yourself an A for effort on dealing with workforce issues,” Lee said. “But what happens when you’ve got potentially thousands of those, a pretty large percentage, who might soon become ineligible to work based on their vaccination status? Does that hurt or help the operational control of the border?”
While touting the “tremendous uptick” in the percentage of agents who are getting vaccinated, Mayorkas could only “hope that does not materialize.”
“You hope!” a surprised Lee shot back. “But do you have a plan for maintaining this?”
He asked Mayorkas to prepare a written plan to send within the next two weeks, which Mayorkas assured him he would.
In September, a whistleblower warned Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) that the border crisis would get a lot worse once the mandate took effect.
Whistleblower said that Border Patrol agents have been given official notice that they must be fully vaccinated by November 2021 or face termination.
The Ohio Republican also pointed out how “ridiculous” the policy is when hardworking agents who do not wish to get vaccinated will lose their jobs but “people who break the law and come in here” have the option to get the vaccine. “No big deal, your choice, it’s up to you.”
Mayorkas was also asked about that during Tuesday's hearing.
"The analysis for migrants encountered at the border is quite different than for the federal workforce that leads by example," he said.

I watched some of the video of Mayorkas. What a despicable weasel and in way over his head.
Because they’re using the invaders as a weapon to spread more Covid for the sake of continuing their fraudulent mail in ballots hat trick. How stupid do they think we are. It’s all about the midterm elections and in warp speed the invaders will have SS# and voting rights to cast their votes for the Democrats. By that time we should see at least 5 million who have entered illegally.. Do you really honestly think the infrastructure bill is all about infrastructure? Look where they’re strategically placing the illegals. They have a plan and it’s sinister. They will be canceling out the American citizens vote in some crucial areas...bank on it! With the help of the RINOS and the evil rats we’re going to have to dig deep into the 1600 page bill to find out what is in it. We are going to be shocked at the things that are hidden in there that gives the illegals money, voting power etc. all the freebies they can grasp from the taxpayers backs!

The reason is to keep the chinese virus lockdowns and mandates going. By not vaccinating illegals, they can spread the virus and do the dirty work for the dems and dems reward them by giving them citizenship and “free” stuff for life.

THAT’s IT? Why didn’t he press her and ask her: “Now, that you said my observation is correct, what is your answer to my question?”
Also to note, CONGRESS is exempted as well all leaders at the U.N. Mmmm.
I think her answer was a middle finger to Doocy and anyone who dares question what the administration is doing.
