Taking to Twitter ahead of his planned appearance, Cleese, who is a Cambridge alumnus, noted that he was getting ahead of being "blacklisted" by calling off his appearance after art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon was blacklisted by Cambridge Union President Keir Bradwell for doing a mocking rant as Hitler to make a point in a debate about whether or not "good taste" exists. An excerpt from ABC News Washington correspondent Jon Karl’s tome “Betrayal” states that McConnell sought to remove Trump from the guest list because he “felt he could not give Trump another opportunity to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.” The excerpt was reported by Politico. According to Karl, McConnell wanted all four congressional leaders — himself, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy...

(CNN) — Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus, key West Wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff — deciding there simply isn’t time to deal with them right now, especially at a moment when Joe Biden faces quickly multiplying political concerns. The exasperation runs both ways. Interviews with nearly three dozen former and current Harris aides, administration officials, Democratic operatives, donors and outside advisers — who spoke extensively to CNN — reveal a complex reality inside the White House. Many in the vice president’s...

The Biden regime has fully weaponized the entire justice system and it is a growing malignancy. There is one system of justice for democrats and the left and another for Republicans and the right. Serious weaponization of the Justice Department took hold under the Obama regime but has gotten completely out of control. One manifestation can easily be seen in the Steve Bannon saga. Bannon was indicted for contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena. Stephen K. strong> Bannon was indicted today by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress stemming from his failure to comply...

Fox News Channel host Nancy Grace is facing a firestorm of controversy over a so-called “investigative” report that was actually a one-hour hit-piece on Kyle Rittenhouse. The 18-year-old on trial for shooting two rioters and seriously wounding a third. Video clearly shows Rittenhouse was defending himself from the rioters in all three of the attacks. “Can you have a teen vigilante out there looking for trouble? Is it either that or is it self-defense,” Grace said. “The question tonight is can both be true?” Throughout much of the program, Fox aired a chyron reading, “TEEN VIGILANTE GUNS DOWN THREE, HEADS...

We must engage our allies—NATO, India, Japan, Australia, and as many other nations as are willing to join in, to make the following proclamation to China: “ If you attack Taiwan, we, collectively, will freeze (perhaps confiscate) all Chinese assets in our territories as well as sever all trade with China.” Please note that the virtue of this plan is that neither side needs to fire a shot in this confrontation. Thus, no lives or treasure need to be lost.

Both sides have rested their case and they proceed to try to convince the jury that their client is either guilty as charged (including lesser offenses) or Not Guilty by reason of self-defense. So far, my favorite line from the trial came from the prosecution: ADA Binger: "Mr. Rittenhouse, you play Call of Duty, right? Isn't the goal of that game to kill everyone in sight?" KYLE: "Well, yea, but it is a game . . . it isn't reality."
