Wendy said: “He wanted to take the stand, and he wanted to tell what happened to him that night, and I didn’t know he was going to take the stand until that day, and I was scared, but Kyle did a wonderful job, and I couldn’t be prouder of him. “I’m hoping that the outcome is a not guilty verdict, but I know a lot of people out there want my...

“The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy” (James 3:17). True wisdom is evident in a person’s behavior. What is true wisdom? James answers that question in verse 17 by pointing out the characteristics or qualities of true wisdom. After purity, the next quality is “peaceable,” which means “peace loving” or “peace promoting.” It refers to someone who doesn’t create confusion or disorder. He doesn’t promote himself or compromise truth but makes peace. True wisdom is also “gentle.” A gentle person will submit to dishonor, disgrace, mistreatment, and...

It has been over a year since the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic. And perhaps the most important lesson is that we were completely unprepared to face the debilitating virus. This raises some scary thoughts. What if the threat wasn't COVID-19, but a gene-edited pathogen designed to turn us into zombies—ghost-like, agitated creatures with little awareness of our surroundings? With recent advances in gene editing, it may be possible for bioterrorists to design viruses capable of altering our behavior, spreading such a disease and ultimately killing us. And chances are we still wouldn't be sufficiently prepared to...

The Biden administration announced on Nov. 12 that it’s raising Medicare premiums, a move that it blamed in part on the cost of drugs. The Medicare Part B standard monthly premium will rise by nearly $22 to $170.10 in 2022, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). “The increase in the Part B premium for 2022 is continued evidence that rising drug costs threaten the affordability and sustainability of the Medicare program,” Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, administrator of the agency, said in a statement. “The Biden–Harris Administration is working to make drug prices more affordable and equitable for all...

Our readers may be well aware of multiple stories we’ve posted since the middle of the year about the “shade war” between Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. To be more accurate, it’s a war between their staffs and, believe it or not, spouses. Back in June, we posted a story about the growing tensions between Harris and Jill Biden, who many see as a primary “advisor” to her husband. In recent weeks, more reports have been coming in that Team Harris is having trouble keeping things together. The White House has denied these reports, but insiders have spilled the beans...

President Joe Biden’s pro-censorship nominee to the Federal Communications Commission is heavily connected to liberal billionaire George Soros.
