Shock poll: Three in 10 Jacksonville voters think Donald Trump won 2020 election The GOP won the Virginia Governor's race, and may win New Jersey. Gov. Ron DeSantis joined Fox and Friends Wednesday after what he described as a Republican wave in off-year gubernatorial elections in Virginia and potentially New Jersey. DeSantis, who likes to say he’s “standing in the way” of the Joe Biden administration, exulted as Tuesday night’s vote showed that message resonated even in states that were decidedly pro-Biden a year before, and that historically perform Democratic. He predicted a historic wave election next year. “And I...

Even before the spanking Democrats across the country received Tuesday night, I was struck by polls earlier in the week showing that resident Joe Biden (and, by extension, the Democratic Party) was hemorrhaging support, even among those who voted for him in 2020. Now that voters have spoken in deep blue states such as New York, New Jersey and Minnesota, and "purple" states such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, there are plenty of takeaways for Republicans looking for victory in 2022, 2024 and thereafter. No. 1: First and foremost, no, it is not about "distancing yourself from Trump." Donald Trump...

The Chinese government newspaper Global Times insultingly urged climate change celebrity Greta Thunberg to seek “a better education” on Monday after the Swedish teen listed pressuring China to cease being the world’s worst polluter as “not the least” of her concerns.

LONDON (AP) — Britain has granted a conditional authorization to Merck's coronavirus antiviral, the first pill shown to successfully treat COVID-19. It is the first country to OK the treatment, although it was not immediately clear how quickly the pill would be available. The pill was licensed for adults 18 and older who have tested positive for COVID-19 and have at least one risk factor for developing severe disease, such as obesity or heart disease. The drug, known as molnupiravir, is intended to be taken twice a day for five days by people at home with mild to moderate COVID-19....

There is a certain irony to a group of rich countries pushing for policies that will disadvantage poorer countries. Yet this is exactly what the leaders of the world's biggest economies did by endorsing a global minimum tax rate of 15% on the profits of large businesses, a deal that has since gained momentum and pledges from leaders in 136 countries. The deal's objectives are simple. It creates a tax cartel, and high-tax nations believe this will limit competition from countries with lower and simpler taxes. It also benefits wealthier, higher-tax nations by shifting revenues from countries where companies are...

Do you remember the “peak oil” scare? That was the claim, heard everywhere in the early 2000s, that nearly all the world’s discoverable oil had already been found, and we would shortly enter a time of inexorably declining production and rapidly escalating prices. This 2018 article in Forbes by Michael Lynch traces the “modern” version of the “peak oil” scare to a 1997 piece in the Oil & Gas Journal by a guy named Colin Campbell. Campbell argued that oil reserves were “rapidly depleting,” that there was “comparatively little left to find,” and that “the world's economic and political stability,...

One could say Virginia Democrats got what they deserved for getting involved with the Lincoln Project in the run-up to Tuesday’s election. There was the incident last Friday when the Lincoln Project paid Democrat Party officials to dress as “white supremacists” and volunteer for Republican Glenn Youngkin’s campaign. The stunt failed, the perpetrators were identified, and Democrats were left with egg on their faces for trying to paint the leader of the most diverse statewide ticket in Virginia history as a racist. As noteworthy as that was, it did not change the trajectory of the race. The tide had turned...

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, personally called Sens Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) to advocate for paid family leave, according to Politico. “I’m in my car. I’m driving. It says caller ID blocked. Honestly … I thought it was Sen. Manchin. His calls come in blocked. And she goes 'Sen. Capito?' I said, 'Yes.' She said, 'This is Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex," Politico quoted Moore Capito as saying. "Much to my surprise, she called me on my private line and she introduced herself as the Duchess of Sussex, which is kind of ironic," Collins told Politico's...

Believe it or not, Disney deserves the credit this time. Even as a full-grown adult with adult children, I still like cartoons. As I was raising my two sons, I made it a point to usually keep only one TV in the house. If videogames were being played, or cartoons being watched, it was always a family affair — and intentionally designed as such. The idea was to compel negotiation, compromise, and good behavior all around. Any fighting over what to watch or play immediately resulted in no one watching or playing anything. Kids like to play and watch, so...

Washington -- I was shot last week. No, I was not shot by any of the roving bands of white supremacists who, I am told by the media, ply their hate so freely here in Northern Virginia. Nor was I shot by the Ku Kluxers who inhabit these parts and whom the present governor, Ralph Northam, has done so little to oppose -- has Northam been concealing his Confederate heritage? I am certain that the governor-elect will improve on Northam's pathetic record of inaction against the Klan and the other extremist hoodlums here in Virginia. I was actually shot by...

Tuesday was a tough night for the wokester leftists among us. From Minneapolis to Virginia to Atlanta, it was a bad night for the wokes. I think that President Biden was tempted to turn Air Force One around and go back to the climate change meetings in Europe. In the baseball world, the Braves won the World Series. How sweet is that? Well, a few months ago Atlanta was denied the All Star Game because the commissioner wouldn't stand up to the left. Today, the Braves will hold the trophy and enjoy the big parade. Are the gods of baseball...

It is amazing news that there has never been a famine caused by climate change until now. The lead story on ABC news on Monday November 1st was a blatant, intentional lie spreading propaganda on climate change to mislead the public. It is tremendously sad and dangerous that so much of what is purported to be news today is Democrat talking points used to pass their radical leftist agenda to destroy America. S. Madagascar on the verge of climate change-induced famine: How to help But unlike other countries, where extreme hunger and near-famine conditions are caused by war, conflict, or...

The battle was a training exercising but the ramifications of the loss, which reveals the damage progressives have inflicted on the military, are extremely serious. For many Americans, the Marines occupy an almost mythic place in their minds as an invincible force that runs to the guns and fights no matter what. That’s why it was so shocking to learn that, during a joint training exercise in the Mojave Desert, Britain’s Royal Marines inflicted such a shellacking on the Americans that the latter had to surrender halfway through the exercise. This is a direct result of the Pentagon having gone...

Here’s a summary of the available data to help you think about that question and what other things are happening behind the scenes in America. I’ve read the entire Revolver News exposé about January 6, 2021, over the past several months, and what follows is the Reader’s Digest version of the dust-up that occurred at the Stop the Steel rally on that day, as reconstructed by Revolver News. (Links to the specific Revolver stories are provided at the end of this article.) Long story short, J6 was an organized protest that was meant to be a peaceful but vociferous rejection...

Remember when Amazon was pulling books by conservative authors because they’d hurt the feelings of liberals? Someone tucks their package back as far as they can, slaps on a dress, and suddenly they get to dictate what everyone else can buy. It’s a neat little trick Democrats try to repeat every chance they get. But if you don’t use Amazon, you might not know about what things Jeff Bezos deems perfectly fine products people can buy, so I thought I’d point out a few to you. I forget what I was looking for, it was probably something obscure that had...

On Thursday, October 28, supporters of the People's Mujahidin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) held a large conference in Washington DC. The conference, titled, "2021 Free Iran Summit: Holding Ebrahim Raisi Accountable for Crimes Against Humanity, Genocide, Regional Meddling, and Nuclear Defiance," This conference, however, was significantly different from similar meetings that were previously held in the United States. In this ever-important gathering, in addition to distinguished American personalities such as Senator Joe Lieberman, US Vice President candidate (2000), Senator Torricelli, U.S. Senator (1997-2003), Honorable Judge Michael Mukasey, 81st U.S. Attorney...

SEATTLE — A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Horace Anderson and the estate of his deceased son, Lorenzo Anderson, a 19-year-old who was shot near the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone. The lawsuit holds Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, City Council Member Kshama Sawant and the City of Seattle responsible for the death. CHOP was a seven-block, police-free protest zone that the mayor, City Council and other government entities allowed during the George Floyd protests. Lorenzo Anderson was shot in the early morning hours of June 20, 2020, on Pine Street, and Seattle medics refused to enter the CHOP...

There's been much talk about the lunacy of school policies supporting so-called "transgender" or "gender fluid" students. What happened in the girls' restroom at a Loudoun County, Virginia high school — a girl raped by a "transgender" male student and the later public abuse of the girl's father — rightly became a flashpoint in the recent election. Will anything really be done under the new Republican administration to curb the dangerous policies that enabled this tragedy? What can the newly elected governor and Legislature do to end this insanity? It will be difficult. The radicals are well entrenched in the...
