In what appears to be one of the first cases of a union pushing back against the new COVID vaccination requirements handed down by the Biden Administration, a union representing pilots at Southwest Airlines is suing to stop the vaccine requirement from being forced until a lawsuit is resolved. Bloomberg reports that the union representing Southwest's pilots has asked a court to grant a temporary stay against the federal vaccination rules until an ongoing lawsuit over what they allege are violations of US labor laws is resolved. In a court filing on Friday, the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association also asked...

CommentaryXi Jinping is facing stiff opposition from within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in his bid to secure unlimited tenure for himself at the Party’s 20th Congress next year.By 2022, Xi would have served 10 years as state president. According to the Chinese constitution—which restricted tenure of office to two terms, each lasting for five years—he should be stepping down by the end of next year. Yet, Xi amended the constitution to delete this stipulation. This caused widespread discontent within the CCP itself. The strong opposition surfaced recently when the Party’s watchdog, the Central Disciplinary Commission (CDC), admitted publicly that there...

You may recall that on September 9, Joe Biden announced that he was essentially ordering a vaccine mandate for every business with over 100 employees, by using OSHA to have a new rule requiring it. Why? Because COVID was such an immediate threat that this just had to be done.“The ultimate workaround,” some in media called that, while crowing about it, although others said there were likely significant legal and practical problems with going this route. This, despite the Biden Administration previously saying they wouldn’t do such a thing and that it really wasn’t within their power to do it.In...

Nurse Tiffany Dover went viral last year when she passed out on live television while receiving the COVID-19 vaccine after she was selected by her hospital to receive it early. After, rumors suggesting she died circulated online, prompting statements from Dover’s family, hospital, and other officials that were then used to fact check claims of her death. The CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where Dover worked, issued three tweets featuring Dover to reassure the public on December 18, 19, and 21. However, despite the tweets and videos being referenced by many fact check articles, CHI Memorial Hospital has since...

Two weeks ago, Kamala Harris hired a "crisis communications expert," to create a new image for her. She needed a "rebranding" it seems, to paper over her failures. Her stints as border surge czar and voting czar weren't going over well with the public. Her staff flight and toxic work environment continued her downward trajectory... According to Politico:For months, KAMALA HARRIS’ allies have insisted her office is not in crisis. So why did she hire a veteran crisis communications expert last month?LORRAINE VOLES was one of two hires, along with former Obama speechwriter ADAM FRANKEL, reported by both the Washington...

I was a decent hockey player and an average baseball player, but there is no sporting event that exists that I don’t know exactly what the participants should have done. If they had all, and I do mean all, listened to me, they would have easily won or succeeded at whatever personal objective they were attempting to achieve. You’re probably the same way. It’s called “Monday Morning Quarterbacking” for a reason, and everyone is guilty of it. Sometimes, however, no matter how insistent the “quarterbacks” are after the fact, there really weren’t that many options at the time. You get...

The Targeting of Military Chaplains Under BidenHe nominates an LGBT activist to oversee them.Military chaplains who adhere to traditional Christian teaching find themselves with targets on their backs in Joe Biden’s military. Its amorphous definition of “bigotry” clearly extends to the historic teachings of Christianity about the natural moral law. Earlier this year, a chaplain who merely criticized transgenderism in a Facebook post was subject to an Army investigation.A foreshadowing of the persecution of Christian military chaplains could already be glimpsed under the Obama-Biden administration. In 2010, a top Army official described conservative Christian members of the military as “bigoted”...

We have vastly different responses to our current “master” disease (pun intended), the COVID virus, versus our more “mundane” diseases. Of course, COVID is contagious, like the flu or chickenpox, and the others are not. Yet COVID is far from being the worst killer. Cancer and cardiovascular diseases vie for that honor. The American Cancer Society “projects” that 1,898,160 people will get cancer in 2021, and 608,570 will die from it. Cardiovascular disease deaths in this country number over a million per year, between heart attack and stroke. We have far less panicked reactions to cancer and cardio, compared to COVID....

A prominent pro-life scientist urged pharmaceutical companies to stop using cells from aborted babies for vaccines this week after a whistleblower accused Pfizer of trying to hide the connection between its new COVID-19 vaccine and abortion. Dr. David Prentice, vice president of the Charlotte Lozier Institute, said the company easily could have avoided a public relations crisis by using ethical materials to create its new COVID-19 vaccine. “Pfizer and other pharmaceutical companies should commit to no longer using the antiquated science of fetal cells and instead use ethically-sourced alternatives as are routinely used for many other medications,” Prentice said. Earlier...

"Anybody who wants to protest at school boards and is going to do it nonviolently, can count on me. "It used to be we were able to count on the American Civil Liberties Union, but they're dead in the water when it comes...

A panel of judges on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a temporary administrative stay Friday night that will allow state courts in Texas to continue accept lawsuits under the state's restrictive abortion law. President Joe Biden's Justice Department had sued the state of Texas last month after it instituted a ban on abortions once doctors detect cardiac activity -- about six weeks into a pregnancy and often before a woman would even know she was pregnant. The law, which is civil instead of criminal, allows anyone to sue someone they "reasonably believed" provided an illegal abortion or...
