The Meade County School district is dealing with an unusual situation: a group of high school students is attending school acting like and dressing as cats. The superintendent tells WLKY the situation is being addressed, but according to a concerned grandparent, it’s an ongoing problem that has many students on edge. "Apparently, from what I understand, they’re called 'furries,'" the grandmother, who asked to remain anonymous, told WLKY. "They identify with animals. These people will hiss at you or scratch at you if they don’t like something you’re doing." She said it’s not a new problem. "I was hearing rumblings...

As the Biden administration attempts to reconcile rising inflation, the crisis at the Southern Border, and the death of American citizens in now Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, Campus Reform’s Addison Smith went to George Mason University to ask students how they feel about Biden's presidency. The vast majority of students who said they voted for or supported Biden’s nomination expressed regret for supporting him. One student said, “He’s failed a lot on a lot of his promises”. Another, speaking on Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, called it a “disaster." When asked about Biden’s “Build Back Better” campaign slogan, students were not convinced he...

It is now midnight, August 31, 2021, in Kabul, Afghanistan. The deadline for American withdrawal arbitrarily set by President Joseph Biden and enforced by the terrorist Taliban has arrived. The Biden Doctrine collapsed on August 26, 2021, when suicide bombers penetrated or were allowed though the Taliban security cordon. Identified as Isis-K, who are radicalized Taliban, they detonated a bomb at the Abbey Gate of the Karzai Airport, murdering 13 Americans and hundreds of Afghans. President Biden emphasized his grief. President Biden emphasized his grief. But he affirmed his decision to abandon the strategic and secure Bagram Airbase prior to...

In Israel, the fully vaccinated who refuse the COVID-19 booster shots will immediately become the unvaccinated and their Mark of the Beast prototype Green Passport then revoked. Earlier today we did a program on the Mark of the Beast system that has now come online, and today’s article on Israel turning the vaccinated into the unvaccinated really proves our point. It’s not a booster shot, it’s never-ending booster shots that will be required for, well…ever. “Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though...

The global economy was supposed to be getting back to “normal” by now, but instead more problems are erupting with each passing day. As I write this article, supply chains all over the planet are in a state of chaos. The worldwide computer chip shortage is making things very difficult for thousands upon thousands of manufacturers, the process of moving products across our oceans has become insanely expensive and is often plagued by horrendous delays, and a lack of truck drivers is causing enormous headaches when it comes to transporting goods to retailers and consumers in a timely manner. We...

Reading the news has become like going to a freak show. You never know what you are going to see each day, but it is almost certainly going to be nutty. Some of the things that I am going to share with you in this article are weird, others are infuriating, but they all point to the same conclusion. From the very top to the very bottom, America is going crazy. And I mean that in the worst way possible. We truly have become an “idiocracy”, and it seems like those that are the most incompetent of all are often...

Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue, commander of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, and Ambassador Ross Wilson, charge d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, were the final Americans to step aboard the last U.S. military C-17 cargo jet shortly before it lifted off from the Afghan capital’s sole international airport Monday. All told about 6,000 U.S. citizens were evacuated from Afghanistan. They represent the “vast majority” of those who wanted to leave the war-torn country, Marine Corps Gen. Frank McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command, told reporters Monday. “There’s a lot of heartbreak associated with this departure. We did not get...

North American fertilizer prices are nearing a decade high this week as soaring commodity prices allow farmers to expand crop production, boosting demand for nutrients essential to producing food. The fertilizer industry is experiencing supply-side constraints while demand is rising.Rabobank’s latest commodity note explained that farmers are expanding plantings and dispensing more fertilizer on fields to increase crop yields since ag prices have jumped due to money printing by the central bank, weather-related issues worldwide, and supply chain issues. The Dutch bank warns, higher prices will curb purchases of fertilizers. “Matched against the furor of trade and geopolitics, fertilizer prices...

During the 2020 Democratic primary, Biden touted himself as the only candidate with the experience necessary to successfully handle an international crisis. "To be commander in chief, there's no time for on-the-job training," he said during a primary debate in November 2019. "I've spent more time in the Situation Room, more time abroad, more time than anybody up here. I know every major world leader. They know me, and they know when I speak, if I'm the president of the United States, who we're for, who we're against, and what we'll do, and we'll keep our word." When Biden introduced...

A combination therapy of aspirin, statins and at least two blood pressure medications given in fixed doses can slash the risk of fatal cardiovascular disease (CVD) by more than half, says an international study led by Hamilton researchers. The fixed-dose combination (FDC) therapies were examined both with and without aspirin versus control groups in a combined analysis of more than 18,000 patients without prior CVD from three large clinical trials. FDCs including aspirin cut the risk of heart attacks by 53 percent, stroke by 51 percent, and deaths from cardiovascular causes by 49 percent. The results were welcomed by international...

The United States saw a 7% decline in its national childbirth rate in 2020, the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a study published Monday. The drop in the domestic crude birth rate -- or the ratio between the number of live births in a population during a given year and the total mid-year population for the same year -- mirrored similar trends in western Europe, researchers said in the study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The crude birth rate in Italy fell by 9% last year, while Spain saw an 8% drop and...

As thousands of Chicago Public Schools families scrambled to find transportation to the first day of school Monday because of a mass bus driver resignation that officials attributed to anger over a vaccine mandate, Mayor Lori Lightfoot said her administration is in talks with rideshare companies to take children to their schools. The move would be highly unusual and could cause yet another set of dilemmas to sort through as parents figure out how to get their kids to classes. About 2,100 students, including 990 in special education, were given no more than two days’ notice that their bus route...

[Catholic Caucus] Confraternity Message from Fr. Reiner, FSSPDear members of the Confraternity,The Motu proprio Traditionis Custodes and its accompanying letter from Pope Francis have shocked us all. We have not yet been informed of any definitive decisions regarding the future of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and its apostolates. Even though the first reactions of various bishops have been rather reassuring and have not involved any significant restrictions, nevertheless, in the coming weeks various bishops’ conferences will discuss the matter on the occasion of this motu proprio and possibly take decisions that will be groundbreaking for us. The Roman...
