Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue, commander of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, and Ambassador Ross Wilson, charge d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, were the final Americans to step aboard the last U.S. military C-17 cargo jet shortly before it lifted off from the Afghan capital’s sole international airport Monday.
All told about 6,000 U.S. citizens were evacuated from Afghanistan. They represent the “vast majority” of those who wanted to leave the war-torn country, Marine Corps Gen. Frank McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command, told reporters Monday.
“There’s a lot of heartbreak associated with this departure. We did not get everybody out that we wanted to,” he said. “But if we had stayed another 10 days, we wouldn’t have gotten everybody out. It’s a tough situation.”

At the beginning of this Biden debacle it was announced and spread to all media there were 10,000 to 15,000 American citizens there.
6,000 have been removed. What happened to the remainder???
It’s hard to wrap my mind around us abandoning Americans to the Taliban. I can’t imagine the fear they are feeling now.

How many are left behind, and, sadly, How soon until we see the first one die? There are already unsubstantiated reports of door-to-door searches and executions occurring in Kabul. A local country singer was executed, women have been executed for not wearing burqas, homosexual men executed for being perverts, etc.

I’m curious why I’m not seeing family members of these Americans who have been left behind on social media or cable news raising hell? There’s a lot of fog around all this.. beginning with the obvious fact we have no idea how many are left behind and the circumstances behind it.
Are the family members staying quiet because they fear drawing attention to their relative’s presence in Afghanistan? Also, how many Americans were outside of Kabul and how did the State Dept contact them and advise them? It’s a Texas sized country.
This isn’t just on Senile Joe’s head, it not just on all the feckless generals, but also all the Assistant Democrats who put this senile idiot in there.
