Joy Behar told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that the Republican Party was driving America into a “new version of the dark ages.” Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “Earlier this week, Tennessee fired their top vaccine official for giving guidance on taking the vaccine for teenagers. And now, you know, as the U.S. surgeon general issues a dire warning of the urgent threat posed by anti-vax misinformation. The state just doubled down by halting all teen outreach on vaccinations for any disease. Now is this the smartest way to go, do you think, Joy? Or should they, you know,...

China warned of "serious consequences" for trespassing in its airspace on Thursday, hours after the U.S. Air Force delivered "diplomatic mail" to the de facto U.S. embassy in Taipei. A C-146A Wolfhound, typically used by Air Force Special Operations Command, left Okinawa's Kadena Air Base in Japan before landing at Songshan Airport in Taiwan's capital at 9:32 a.m. local time, publicly available flight tracking data showed. Wu Qian, a spokesperson for China's Defense Ministry, said in an online statement that Beijing expressed its "serious concern" over the stopover, which lasted just more than half an hour. "Taiwan is part of...

Ranking member of the powerful House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes told me on The Sara Carter Show podcast that he still expects Justice Department Special Counsel John Durham to release a damaging report on the FBI’s debunked investigation into former President Donald Trump and Russia. He also expects it will lead to prison sentences for some former senior Obama officials. Nunes is one of the few members of the Republican Party that still believe justice will be served. He laid out his reasons on The Sara Carter Show and said he hasn’t given up faith in Durham’s investigation despite...

LGBT activists are relentless in forcing their agenda on the American people. It’s not enough for companies to fly rainbow flags every Pride month — they have to use special pronouns, too. It’s not enough for businesses to serve LGBT people — they have to bake custom cakes celebrating same-sex weddings and gender transitions, too. It’s not enough for Christian companies to stop funding outspoken political groups — they have to stop funding Christian groups, too.Take Chick-fil-A, for example. Back in 2012, LGBT activists targeted Chick-fil-A for a “kiss-in,” to protest the fast food joint’s stance defining marriage as being...

In all, 11 coworkers were infected after an off-site pool party on June 7, the vast majority came down with the Delta variant, which is believed to spread more easily, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, citing emails obtained from the Southern Nevada Health District. Legions of the conservative viewers who made Fox News the number-one cable news channel celebrated when Shepard Smith departed its lineup in 2019. According to the Daily Beast in 2019, he ditched his $15-million salary in the middle of a three-year contract because of criticism from higher-rated conservatives at Fox, including Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. I had come to the point where I switched channels when he came on because his snarky anti-conservative commentary was unbearable.Smith took his time returning to the TV news business, and according to this Daily Beast story yesterday, he was in discussion with a...

VIDEOOne of the Texas state representatives, James Talarico, who fled to Washington D.C. rather than be present in their own state to vote on a voting law stated that Texans are more likely to be struck by lightning than to commit voter fraud. In this video we see a brutal lightning strike land on a Texan.

The UT researchers said that 67 sites were allowed to sign up for a voluntary “emergency response” program coordinated by ERCOT. Dozens of mostly natural gas facilities, including some directly supplying fuel to power plants around the state, were paid to have their electricity cut off in an emergency like February’s devastating winter storm, according to a report released Tuesday by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin. The UT researchers said that 67 sites, mostly gas refining and pipeline infrastructure locations around Texas, were allowed to sign up for a voluntary “emergency response” program coordinated by the Electric...

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting of Foreign Ministers on Wednesday in Dushanbe, the Tajik capital, may have been an under-the-radar affair, but it did reveal the contours of the big picture ahead when it comes to Afghanistan. So let’s see what Russia and China – the SCO’s heavyweights – have been up to. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi laid out the basic road map to his Afghan counterpart Mohammad Haneef Atmar. While stressing the Chinese foreign policy gold standard – no interference in internal affairs of friendly nations – Wang established three priorities: 1. Real inter-Afghan negotiations towards national reconciliation...

On Wednesday Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) stated that he wished the Biden administration denounced the tyranny of Cuba with “half the passion” that they have for denouncing Republican elected officials. Rubio stated, “This administration’s response has been lame. It’s been lame on this whole issue. Now, I wish they had as much passion, I wish they had half the passion that they have for going after Republican state legislatures and Republican governors and Republican members of Congress, I wish they had half the passion that they have against the Republicans that they do against the tyranny in Cuba, .”

Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush said Wednesday he filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration claiming its “illegally preventing the border wall from being constructed.” The lawsuit is part of the Texas Defense Task Force, Bush said. It also includes Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “The issue here is simple—no man is above the law. And that includes President Biden,” Bush said, surrounded by Texas Border Patrol agents and local farmers. “For four years, Congress allocated more than $5 billion to construct fencing and walls around the Southern border.” Bush created the Texas Defense Task Force, he said, to...

On July Fourth, President Biden celebrated dramatic progress in the war on the coronavirus, with more than 150 million adults fully vaccinated and infections plunging 93 percent since Inauguration Day. “Together, we’re beating the virus,” Biden said at a party on the White House lawn. But at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference, attendees celebrated a different — essentially opposite — milestone: that Biden had missed his goal of vaccinating 70 percent of adults. “Clearly they were hoping — the government was hoping — that they could sort of sucker 90 percent of the population into getting vaccinated,” activist Alex...

Although it’s still expected to favor sellers for the foreseeable future, several key indicators suggest the wild housing market may soon start to cool off. At least a little bit. Recent data from Seattle-based Redfin Corp. found the number of homes newly listed for sale surpassed 2019 levels during the four weeks that ended July 4. That’s the the first time this year that’s happened. Homebuying demand has also recently — somewhat — tapered off, according to pending sales data, Redfin’s Homebuyer Demand Index and Mortgage Bankers Association’s survey of number of mortgage applications. Realtor.com found similar indications in its...

The left’s response was a scorched earth policy to destroy Trump. Five years into their implacable opposition, we now see the earth the left scorched was America.America has been torched by the left’s scorched-earth strategy to defeat Donald Trump. While Trump was still in office, the price was already high. With Trump gone, we are learning that high price was just a down payment. Today, America is paying in full in its cities, in its schools, on its southern border, and abroad. Seemingly behind every shameful headline is a leftist lowlight. America’s cities are enduring exploding violence to an extent...
