At least eight fully vaccinated Nevada health care workers tested positive for the coronavirus last month in a rare cluster of "breakthrough" cases, according to a report.
In all, 11 coworkers were infected after an off-site pool party on June 7, the vast majority came down with the Delta variant, which is believed to spread more easily, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, citing emails obtained from the Southern Nevada Health District.
Two out of the three who weren’t fully vaccinated had received at least one dose of the vaccine, the newspaper reported.
Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas said the employees recognized their symptoms and got tested and all of them have been able to return to work.

The Delta can break through the vaccine at higher rates than the alpha, beta and gamma strains but the vaccines still have a 94% plus rate of keeping people out of the hospital even with Delta strain so they are working as intended. Almost no vaccines are 100% the vaccine that wiped smallpox off the planet was “only” 95% effective that means 5% of smallpox vaccinated people still caught smallpox but nearly none of them died once vaccinated compared to 40% of unvaccinated smallpox cases. Same for Rona even Delta vaccinated people have the sniffles and get better where as with Delta there are places in America today where 99.5% who died this last week were unvaccinated and had Delta look it up the numbers made national news. You are 94% not going to the hospital and 70% plus not ever going to show symptoms at all if vaccinated vs Delta those are still great numbers.
C’mon man…the jab doesn’t work?…it will work 100% in ~3 years when most of the jabees are dead or dying…

As I understand the previous research on these mRNA vaccines in animals, it takes a bit of experimenting to make the porridge “just right”: too weak and it is ineffective to prevent infection, too strong and it causes deadly side effects.

Given that 95% of the populace recover from COVID without lingering effects - did the vaccine even do anything here?
Because of mutations in the spike, the spikes in the delta variant are of a slightly different shape. The antibodies from a previous infection (or from the vaccine) have difficulty attaching or cannot attach to the delta spikes because of the shape change. Unless an antibody attaches properly (like a lock and key mechanism) it can’t destroy the virus. It’s why Pfizer is considering an updated vaccine.

I’d be curious how many of the Delta Variant ‘breakthrough’ infections happened in people who were previously identified as carrying the natural antibodies (as a result of a previous infection).
IOW, is natural antibody immunity proving more resilient to the different strains than the vaccines may be?

Bingo. Apparently natural immunity works against the "variant" but those who took the experimental treatment are susceptible to it.
It again begs the question that the Branch Covidians in government and pharmaceutical korporations won't answer, "If the person overcame COVID-19 like the other 99.99% of those infected with it did, why would they take an experimental treatment AFTERWARDS?"
Related, did the experimental treatment strip away natural immunity for those who already overcame COVID-19?
