Weeks after the New York Times failed in its motion to dismiss Project Veritas's defamation suit, the NYT was forced to answer the allegations in writing. The answers were recently made public. Though carefully tailored to reveal as little as possible, the answers betray incredible insight as to how the "Newspaper of Record" works behind the scenes, as well as the division of labor in the manufacturing of American political propaganda. In September 2020, Project Veritas ran a story featuring unedited video clips of Mr. Liban Mohamed, a Minneapolis political operative working for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, conducting an illegal ballot-harvesting...

With Biden promising to reinstate the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with Iran, it's important to remember the solid foundation of lies behind the JCPOA. Joe Biden and his foreign policy team are negotiating with Iran, trying to get the U.S. back into the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (“JCPOA”) Iran nuclear deal. Many support this objective, not realizing that the JCPOA allows Iran to build nuclear weapons in the near future, and place the United States, the Sunni Gulf States, and Israel in grave danger. The support for returning to the JCPOA stems from naivete. Much of Obama and...

Nothing is stranger than the contemporary American university. Not long ago, Americans used to idolize their universities. Indeed, in science, math, engineering, medicine and business, many of these meritocratic departments and schools remain among the top-ranked in the world. Top-notch higher education explains much of the current scientific, technological and commercial excellence of the United States. After World War II -- won in part due to superior American scientific research, production and logistics -- a college degree became a prerequisite for a successful career. The GI Bill enabled some 8 million returning vets to go to college. Most graduated to...

It’s just the flu, bro. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/explainer-what-we-know-about-the-indian-variant-as-coronavirus-sweeps-south-asia/ar-BB1gcHdl Indian variant...there are a bunch of words like “global concern”...but I know I certainly don’t care about variant B.1.617. Rest assured this variant will raise the alarm of the media when someone gets this variant in the US, even though it is essentially the same as all the other variations. How exciting...the media sort of gets a whole new fresh pandemic every time a new variant spreads to any new country. And they get to use the word “concern” in every article that discusses it. https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3955023/posts Indian variant is now in Israel and is...

Johnny Crawford, the original Mouseketeer who starred as the young son of the Civil War veteran portrayed by Chuck Connors on the 1958-63 ABC series The Rifleman, died Thursday, it was announced. He was 75. In 2019, it was revealed that Crawford had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and a GoFundMe campaign organized by Paul Petersen — the advocate for former child actors and onetime star of The Donna Reed Show — was set up to help the family deal with expenses. Crawford was 12 when he appeared for the first time as Mark McCain, son of the widower Lucas...

A Minnesota man has been fined $12 million for helping set fire to a police station during a protest last summer following the death of George Floyd. Dylan Shakespeare Robinson, 23, pleaded guilty in December to one count of conspiracy to commit arson. He was accused of lighting a Molotov cocktail that another person threw at the Third Precinct headquarters in Minneapolis. He now faces four years in prison and a whopping fine for the damages to the police station -- a penalty Robinson’s lawyer argues he will never be able to pay. "On the night of May 28, 2020,...

On a Friday morning in April, Dallas conservative talk radio host Mark Davis complained to his listeners about the crowded special election in North Texas’s Sixth Congressional District, which stretches southeast from downtown Fort Worth to past Corsicana. With 23 candidates—11 of them mostly like-minded Republicans—competing to take the seat vacated by the late congressman Ron Wright, even he, a politics obsessive, found it hard to keep up.

Americans have an easy way to crush Covid-19 -- one that would let businesses fully reopen safely, ditch the need for social distancing and restore a mask-free return to normalcy. But many Americans don't want to get vaccinated as myths and misunderstandings spread. "Facebook runs a survey every day ... and that's shown that vaccine confidence in the US has been slowly but steadily going down since February," said Dr. Christopher Murray, director of the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. "We were at 75% of adults saying they wanted the vaccine. Now we're down to, in...

Irate nurse demands to know why people are accepting fake news and complying with vaccinations. She said 3 days ago the FDA held a conference in which the head of the FDA stated he and the 17,000 staff members will NOT approve any Covid-19 vaccines because they have not gone through testing and they are not showing to be effective. She said the video of that conference is circulating and that she has shared it on Telegram and Facebook .[ransomnote: our MSM doesn't seem to be 'sharing' this information. Instead, I find articles pressuring the FDA to immediately drop the...

A group of election security and administration experts are asking the Justice Department to send federal monitors to Arizona as the Republican-led state Senate carries out an audit of 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County in the state's 2020 presidential election. In a letter to the top official at the Justice Department's voting section, five elections experts from the Brennan Center for Justice, Protect Democracy and The Leadership Conference expressed deep concerns about how the audit is being conducted, warning that it has put ballots "in danger of being stolen, defaced, or irretrievably damaged." "They failed to ensure the...

Shovel-ready jobs (1.0) was supposed to create a plethora of jobs of 45k and up but it was a boondoggle with so much money eaten up by management making between 100 and 150k, by red tape, and so the millions of even 45k-65k jobs per year never materialized or were very short-term. Wanna bet this will happen again? And how many Solyndra's and other clunker, retread Obama/Biden ideas does Biden eventually have planned to roll out? I wish that he, or at least his handlers and overlords, could be more imaginative concerning the ideas they formulate.

Petitioners seek review of the decision of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals arising out of Deputy Gelhaus’ fatal shooting of 13 year-old Andy Lopez, who was carrying a toy replica automatic rifle by its grip. At all times, the toy rifle was pointed towards the ground, with Lopez’s hand on the grip, away from the trigger. Deputy Gelhaus shot at Lopez eight times, hitting him seven times, from approximately 62 feet. The question presented is whether there is qualified immunity for a police officer who shoots a 13-yearold boy seven times, particularly where there is evidence that the first...

A former White House education adviser during the Obama administration has been arrested and charged with stealing $218,005 from a charter school network he founded, prosecutors said. Seth Andrew, 42, who served as a senior adviser in the Office of Educational Technology, was arrested April 27 on charges of wire fraud, money laundering, and making false statements to a financial institution. Federal prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York allege that he used more than half of the money to maintain his bank account above a threshold that enabled him to get better interest...

Nearly 40 people have been killed and about 150 injured in a crowd crush at a Jewish religious gathering in northern Israel attended by tens of thousands of people, in one of the country’s worst peacetime disasters. Eli Beer, director of an Israeli volunteer ambulance service, Hatzalah, said he was shocked by the size of the crowds at Mount Meron overnight, estimated at around 100,000. “Close to 40 people died as a result of this tragedy,” he told Army Radio on Friday morning. Children were among the dead. “Unfortunately, we found small children trampled there, and we performed CPR on...
