Weeks after the New York Times failed in its motion to dismiss Project Veritas's defamation suit, the NYT was forced to answer the allegations in writing. The answers were recently made public. Though carefully tailored to reveal as little as possible, the answers betray incredible insight as to how the "Newspaper of Record" works behind the scenes, as well as the division of labor in the manufacturing of American political propaganda.
In September 2020, Project Veritas ran a story featuring unedited video clips of Mr. Liban Mohamed, a Minneapolis political operative working for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, conducting an illegal ballot-harvesting racket and bragging about it in his native language of Somali. The videos, taken and uploaded to social media by Mr. Mohamed himself, feature stacks of ballots in his vehicle as he boasts "numbers dont lie!” and “All these here are absentee ballots. Can't you see? Look at these — my car is full." "Money is the king in this world ... and a campaign is driven by money." In another video, Mr. Mohamed flaunts a stack of ballots in his hand as he burns the midnight oil: "Two in the morning. Still hustling."
In response, Maggie Astor of the NYT wrote an article claiming that the "deceptive video" made claims "through unidentified sources and with no verifiable evidence" and "was probably part of a coordinated disinformation effort." The article also contained false claims about the legality of ballot-harvesting, despite Minneapolis law stating that no person may be a designated agent for more than three voters to handle their ballots. The article was placed in the "A" news section and subsequently transmitted these defamatory claims to tens of millions of direct readers.

No wonder it is the preferred paper for the bottom of bird cages.
NYT lied... Who’d of thought 🤔
Also, the author talks in the article about the "Chairs Of Journalism" which is almost certainly a downstream Soros-funded collection of partisan Leftist scumbags who cloak themselves in this group that makes them sound like they are honored, classical, responsible people, when in reality, they are just Pravda-like totalitarian hacks.
I looked at their pictures and the "Hive of Scum and Villany" quote came to mind.
I’m at a loss as to how Okeefe stays out of prison. He actually scores pin pricks against the Uniparty machine. In the American Soviet of today, trumped up charges for vocal patriots is the norm. I respect Okeefe as much as anyone but fear for his safety and “freedom”.
He stays out of prison because he makes it a point to understand the law.
That is key, IMO. I have always assumed his team knows the laws for recording conversations in every state he operates in, and he goes by the book. After he gets recordings and video, I believe they closely examine the circumstances, who was there, who knew who was there, what the state laws are, and if they aren’t in compliance, they don’t use that material.
He can’t be taken to court. He won’t lose, assuming the courts actually uphold the law.
And I think they know it.
.
“the law”
“The law” is subjective.
The panic in the CNN people on the weekly call was palpable...after, a bunch of the people from CNN were still lurking, thinking they were invisible, and O'Keefe said "I see there are still many of them out there on the call..." and you could hear all the participants pulling the ejection handle with the 'beep beep" as they exited the meeting and hung up!
It brought to mind this:
I had to donate to his organization after watching that!
That was the point of that statement. We have not lived in a republic ruled by law for some time now.
The law is now as malleable as it was in the Soviet Union, as we have seen in its use by The State against Donald Trump, General Flynn, and tens of thousands if not millions of Conservatives.
Yup.. mob rules.. democracy, not a republic
Time to repeal the 17th Amendment
Liban Mohamed, a Minneapolis political operative working for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, conducting an illegal ballot-harvesting racket and bragging about it in his native language of Somali... boasts "numbers dont lie!” and “All these here are absentee ballots. Can't you see? Look at these — my car is full." "Money is the king in this world ... and a campaign is driven by money."
Somalian, simoleons.
(At this point, O'Keefe looks right at the camera and makes this hilarious face)
O'KEEFE: We're going to release those recordings today at seven o'clock so stay tuned, it is going to be fun.
ZUCKER: Thanks everybody, have a good day...
O'KEEFE: Yeah, you too. So, um, you heard me just talk to the president of CNN, Jeff Zucker, and inform him that we are going to release a number of recordings today, I uh, unmuted myself into the conference line and they're still on there, they're listening to me right now. Uh, this is being live streamed for those of you still on the call and we recorded for a while and we have clips of various producers talking, the president talking, describing uh, their motives, describing uh, their political philosophy, describing how they don't cover certain things and certain political parties tell them to cover things a certain way, lots of little clips that takes us into the minds and hearts of our people and powers that be that inform us because government is downstream from media. So, we're going to releasing these tape thanks to one of our sources, one of our brave insiders who has given us this information. And um, as you can see, they're still milling about on the call, they're listening to me right now...
SYSTEM SOUNDS OF PARTICIPANTS IMMEDIATELY LEAVING THE CALL: Beep Beep...Beep Beep...Beep Beep...Beep Beep...Beep Beep
Yep. He’s a personal heto of mine.
