GOP rallies around meat industry in response to attack by Colorado's Jared Polis... The red meat wars have hit America. Republican governors representing heartland states are uniting in support of the cattle industry in response to calls from Jared Polis, the Democratic governor of Colorado, to move his state away from eating meat. The herd of Republican governors of Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming, and Montana has taken issue with Polis's call for Saturday, March 20, to be observed as "MeatOut Day," during which residents are asked to replace meat with a plant-based alternative. All four Republican governors issued proclamations in response,...

The Federal Reserve says it will restore capital requirements for large banks that were relaxed as part of the Fed’s efforts to shore up the financial system during the early days of the pandemic. The Fed said it will not extend the relief from what is called the supplementary leverage ratio past March 31. The easing of the regulation had been intended to give banks flexibility in what assets they could hold to meet regulatory' requirements during the turmoil of the pandemic, when banks were having to suddenly write down billions of dollars of loans. The banking industry had lobbied...

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio was surrounded and heckled on Friday night during a vigil held to mourn the victims of the Georgia massage parlor shootings and discourage anti-Asian violence. The scene came a day after de Blasio had urged people who experienced racist events to report them to the police, even if they didn't rise to the level of a crime that could be prosecuted. It wasn't clear what people in attendance were demanding of de Blasio, who has spoken out against anti-Asian sentiment and did again at the vigil, which was held at New York's Union...

Las Vegas conventions are coming back in 2021 and attracting major speakers — including at least one former president. Financial services firm Carson Group announced Friday that President George W. Bush is on the special guest list for its annual conference, Excell 2021. The event is set to take place Oct. 12-14 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The convention had originally been slated for June of 2020 but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The upcoming show will be offered as both an in-person and a virtual event. A federal appeals court judge in his dissenting opinion in a defamation case on Friday accused The New York Times and The Washington Post of being “Democratic Party broadsheets.” Washington, D.C. Circuit Senior Judge Laurence Silberman, who was appointed by former President Reagan, argued in his opinion that the news industry at large is dominated with a “bias against the Republican Party” that he wrote was “rather shocking.” While the case did not specifically relate to either paper, the judge used his opinion to argue that the Times and Post served largely as mouthpieces for the Democratic Party, adding “the...

Kolditz, at any rate, is right that the individuals the military considers extremists-in-waiting are mostly white Republican men—just as the corporate world does. Therein lies a fundamental problem that is only starting to come into view with its implications. Surveys show white male Republicans, especially those without a college education, are more likely than any other group to feel “extremely proud to be Americans.” Thus, the military is treating the group that tends to feel the most patriotic as the main source of “extremist behaviors and activities” within its ranks. Instead of making the military a more unified, effective fighting...

Major left-leaning U.S. press outlets are largely avoiding mention of President Joe Biden's repeated stumbles as he boarded Air Force One, while many foreign publications are devoting prominent coverage to the incident. As of Friday afternoon, the homepages of MSNBC, CBS News, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and New York Times had no mention of Biden's stumbling incident earlier in the day at Joint Base Andrews. The news blackout was not strictly partisan, with the homepage of right-leaning One America News Network also omitting any mention of Biden's repeated tripping.

Miami-Dade Mayor has requested the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention director for a meeting on the resumption of cruise operations. Letter Sent to CDC Director While cruise lines start to give up on the CDC on resuming operations out of the U.S., Miami-Dade mayor Daniella Levine...

After a year of warnings, Asian Americans have focused national attention on a series of violent attacks to highlight the threat of anti-Asian bias, winning rhetorical support from the White House, solidarity from prominent cultural figures and prime-time news coverage. But as the movement has gained purchase, its leaders are laboring to turn their political reckoning into a tangible and sustained path forward to address a problem that defies simple or speedy solutions. More than a year into a global pandemic that has sparked racist rhetoric and attacks against Asians in the United States, questions over what to do about...

1AO – Media content is not an accidental byproduct of competition for popular attention, it’s engineered media, intended in peacetime to shape popular opinion, control purchasing behavior, regulate sexual morality. Currently MSM news and entertainment media are directed to immediate tactical necessities of nonlinear, ‘unrestricted’ or Information War (IW) . “Information Poisoning” is a form of psychological attack or “psyop” that damages our cognitive capacity over time. The primary purpose of MSM media news and entertainment content is not to amuse and inform but to influence social decision making and shape purchasing behavior. Advertising /entertainment media content suggests we buy...

I can hardly wait to see how President Biden's second 100 days in office go. So far he's ripped up Trump's successful immigration policy by the roots, stopped work on the wall and created a super-crisis on the Southern border. He and his masters in Congress are preparing to screw the rich and corporations with higher taxes on incomes and profits. And because he stupidly agreed with George Stephanopoulos on TV that Vladimir Putin is "a killer," Putin got mad and recalled Russia's ambassador. From day one, when he ordered the Keystone Pipeline to shut down, America's first figurehead-in-chief has...

Stolen elections have consequences. Biden and Harris traveled to Georgia to talk about the ongoing threats and violence against the Asian-American community in the wake of shootings at massage parlors that left several Asian women dead. Kamala Harris trashed America as a racist and xenophobic country during a speech in Georgia on Friday. Harris also took a veiled shot at Donald Trump, suggesting he spread hate about Asians. "Racism is a real in America. And it has always been. Xenophobia is real in America and always has been…The last year we’ve had people in positions of incredible power scapegoating Asian...

And not only might it be in your own living room, but it could become an excellent pathway toward taking back our beloved Republic from the insidious forces which have lurched us to the left for decades. There are compelling reasons for parents to yank their kids from the typical school, especially for those who love America and its founding values and principles: the rampant teaching that the United States is a racist and evil country and has been from its very beginnings, the precipitous decline in academic rigor and results which has increasingly plagued our schools for generations, and...
