Despite California Courts recognizing the concept of coercive control, there was no actual statutory prohibition against this form of domestic abuse. That changed in September 2020 when the Governor of California signed a bill into law clarifying the state’s Domestic Violence Prevention Act that coercive control constitutes a form of domestic abuse. Specifically, the law amends Section 6320 of the Family Code so that “disturbing the peace of the other party” (which is grounds to obtain a DV Restraining order) includes coercive control. The California legislature unequivocally recognized that actions that result in the destruction of “mental or emotional calm”...

This is how it starts, with an article here, an interview there. Scotland is now under a total nationwide lockdown. I think even dogs and cats are included. England is about to issue a total national lockdown. Here we have an influential Democrat State Senator—supported by Republicans like Catherine Baker, calling for a complete and absolute statewide lockdown—for four weeks. In March, Dr. Strangelove, Anthony Fauci told us a two week national shutdown would end the crisis. He knew he was lying. So, why would we expect a four week lockdown to work—or last just four weeks? Why are they...

President-elect Joe Biden plans to release almost all vaccine doses immediately, a spokesman said Friday, a change from the Trump administration’s strategy of holding half of the supply in reserve for second doses. “The President-Elect believes we must accelerate distribution of the vaccine while continuing to ensure the Americans who need it most get it as soon as possible,” Biden spokesman TJ Ducklo said in a statement. “He supports releasing available doses immediately, and believes the government should stop holding back vaccine supply so we can get more shots in Americans' arms now.” The Trump administration has been holding back...

Everyone knows it's your real job is to get people to believe lies. Only really stupid people actually believe you, and your real role is to cover the Middle, where the window dressing is the lies. Only the really educated people believe at that level. Then the right-thinking people who could be confused have to be handled by more sophisticated means. But everyone knows that you were lying.

While humans are still awaiting a jab with a coronavirus vaccine, endangered black-footed ferrets in Colorado have already gotten their shots. One hundred and twenty of the ferrets (Mustela nigripes) — once thought completely extinct — have been vaccinated with an experimental veterinary COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Associated Press. Ferrets are highly susceptible to dying from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Minks, a close cousin of ferrets, have already been found to contract coronavirus in fur farms and, alarmingly, in the wild. This is dangerous because any time the virus transmits between humans and animals, it has more...

It’s been a tough week for our country. Violence has no place in our American political system, and we’re all in agreement that the events that played out on Capitol Hill this week were unacceptable. There are many in the media who are eager to blame Republicans for the events that transpired. And there are many in our party who are eager to blame President Trump both for the violence in Washington and for the results of the senate elections in Georgia. But you know what? If that’s all we get out of this, our future will be no different...

We all know about our own Revolution, but how many know how the French Revolution started? It took only about 1,000 citizens armed with muskets and a limited supply of ammunition, to storm the Bastille on the July 14 in 1789. They demanded surrender of the prison, because they wanted to free their friends and relatives the King had arrested for various unwarranted reasons. Negotiations began but, a few hours later, the angry crowd attacked the undefended outer courtyard and cut the drawbridge chains. 3 1/2years later, King Louis XVI lost his head. Why did our politicians run away from their jobs like scared chickens last Wednesday? What are their duties and responsibilities? They are elected to represent the citizens of The United States (even the Senators these days). Did you feel like they were representing you on Wednesday when they turned tail and fled from American citizens? Not one politician had the guts to stand up on a chair and ask to hear the grievances of these American citizens. They ran. They ran like cowards. Why? They all seem to like to get up in front of everybody, but this time NONE...

He went on to argue the “main problem” in the GOP is that the money class, much like across the country, “sneer” at the lower class.

House Democrats held a conference call Friday to discuss a plan to rush through articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump in the final 13 days of his presidency – with leaders saying the votes are likely there for it. Leaders of both chambers, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Leader Charles Schumer – said they would support impeachment if Vice President Mike Pence fails to act with the Trump cabinet under the 25th amendment to strip him of authority following the Capitol riot on Wednesday. Pence appears not to be interested in that route – rebuffing a call from the...

At any anti-lockdown protest, you will see signs that say “Stop the Great Reset.” The New York Times calls this phrase “a baseless conspiracy theory.” Here is the problem. None of this is secret. There are books you can read about it and detailed websites describing it. Time Magazine even did a cover story. It’s the title of World Economic Forum head Klaus Schwab’s book on the lockdowns and the future. It was published July 9, 2020, and now has nearly 900 reviews on Amazon. Proponents of “The Great Reset” argue that the pandemic proves our former society “doesn’t work,”...

The top federal prosecutor in the country and the Washington DC Attorney General have hinted that President Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Rudy Giuliani may all come under investigation for inciting the MAGA mob that terrorized the Capitol Building on Wednesday.
