President Trump is coming under fire by the usual Trump-hating naysayers for issuing pre-Christmas pardons on December 23rd to several of his associates who were caught up in the Russia collusion hoax. They were treated unfairly by the FBI and prosecutors involved in the Mueller investigation. One of the most notable pardons went to Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign manager who received an overly harsh sentence and even spent some time in solitary confinement for white collar crimes. Another pardon went to Roger J. Stone Jr., a political ally and longtime friend of Trump’s who was arrested following a...

After years of steady decline, the city’s jail population started going up this year. More than 4,700 people were in jail in November, compared to 3,800 at the end of April, based on the latest complete data available from the city. The majority are people who've been accused of a crime but were not able to pay bail while waiting for their cases to play out in court. That’s still much lower than the nearly 7,000 people in jail at the end of 2019. But it’s not what was expected in the year when New York enacted a groundbreaking new...

With unexpectedly cold weather in the forecast and pandemic-related curfews in some places, Florida is about to have a Christmas unlike any other in recent memory, and it may involve falling iguanas. The National Weather Service earlier this week warned that South Florida could experience the coldest Christmas Day in 21 years. Morning lows on Saturday could drop into the low 30s and 40s degrees Fahrenheit, the weather service said. “ Brrr! Much colder temps expected for Christmas," the National Weather Service in Miami tweeted earlier this week. “Falling iguanas are possible."

In a Washington Post editorial published Wednesday, authors Deborah E. Lipstadt and Norman Eisen argue for the radical comparison of challenging recent election results with denying that a Nazi Holocaust, the “best-documented genocide in the world,” ever occurred. The essay, titled “Denying the Holocaust threatens democracy. So does denying the election results,” makes several comparisons while suggesting how to combat such “denial.” Claiming to have “learned the hard way” to take Holocaust denial seriously, the authors state they have “watched with alarm the birth of another powerful disinformation mythology,” referring to the “false conviction pushed by Trump and his enablers”...

Question: at CNN, is there any distinction—whatsoever—between being a "correspondent," which might imply a certain degree of objectivity, and being an unabashed liberal partisan? Apparently not, judging from the comments of prominent CNN "correspondent" Abby Phillip on this morning's New Day. Phillip described the election of Barack Obama as "progress" for America, whereas the election of Donald Trump was "a couple of steps back," with the "pendulum swinging" in the wrong direction. Phillip followed that bit of blatant liberal punditry by describing the prospective election of Kamala Harris as VP as "a thrilling moment." Shades of Chris Matthews' famous thrill...

"We . . . see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone" (Heb. 2:9). Jesus Christ is the only One who could recover man’s destiny. The ultimate curse of our lost destiny is death. God warned Adam that if he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would die (Gen. 2:17). In the restored kingdom we will be elevated again over a redeemed earth....

Another Christmas is upon us, and it’s the same old story: in Muslim lands, Christians are oppressed and in constant danger of violent jihad attacks. And in the lands once known as Christendom, jihadis threaten new jihad massacres. And so it was no surprise when International Christian Concern reported Wednesday that “security forces in Pakistan reportedly stopped a major terror attack planned to take place on Christmas Day in Peshawar. In a raid on a house in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Khyber district, four terrorists, including the leader of a banned militant outfit, were arrested.” Among those arrested was Zakir Afridi, the...

Glenn Greenwald, co-founder of The Intercept, said the media’s coverage of the coronavirus pandemic was the "worst event of media misconduct.” Speaking on Hill.TV’s “Rising,” Greenwald said that the media's coverage of the pandemic was initially geared toward forcing people to stay home, and shaming those who went outside for acting irresponsibly. Greenwald then added that the media shifted its tone around its coverage after the protests against police brutality over the summer following the police killing of George Floyd in May. “Suddenly, it all turned to ‘What these people are doing is noble,’” he said. “And not only do...

In the video clip below from CBS News, we see Anthony Fauci appearing to be vaccinated in his left arm, but when being interviewed about it a short time later he points to his right arm as the place where he is experiencing "injection site soreness". Hmm, if his arm was so sore, you would think he would naturally point to the proper arm, but somehow he does not. All criminals are liars, and when you tell lies it is hard to remember which ones are which. This is exactly what we see on display here. So that begs the...

President Trump has been very selective when using his clemency powers. But whenever he does use them, the left is predictably outraged. When Trump granted a full pardon to former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, they had a collective hissy fit. Never mind the fact that if there was ever a case where there was a miscarriage of justice, it was this one, and the pardon was long overdue when it was granted. Democrats want us to forget that Flynn was set up by the Obama administration and railroaded by the FBI. Simply put, they went after him...

From the early hours of the morning of Thursday, December 24, a series of earthquakes were registered in Puerto Rico from magnitude 2.1 to the most recent at 12 p.m. (Puerto Rico time) of a preliminary magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale followed about half an hour later with a 4.7. The Puerto Rico Seismic Network (Red Sísmica) has recorded earth movements in the south since early this morning. None caused a tsunami alert, but island residents have shown concern about the earthquakes that began in December 2019 and have not stopped since then, although they did decrease in...

A judge may force the Trump administration’s Justice Department to schedule the only woman on federal death row’s execution for when after President-elect Biden takes office. US District Court Judge Randolph Moss told lawyers representing Lisa Montgomery and the Justice Department that he was vacating an order from the Bureau of Prisons director rescheduling the execution for Jan. 12. That date was set by Moss in November, after Montgomery’s attorneys contracted coronavirus and asked for an extension in order to file a clemency petition.

A doctor in Northern California has been fired from his job after he co-authored a letter that questioned the science behind his county’s lockdown order. Dr. Michael deBoisblanc was working as the trauma medical director for John Muir Health in Contra Costa County, California, until last Friday, after he questioned the scientific basis for again locking down citizens of the area. KNTV reported that deBoisblanc wrote a letter to the county health director and board of supervisors voicing his concern regarding the continued lockdown policies prior to his dismissal. The former medical director spoke from his own experience as a...

The University of Miami is investigating the possible effects of the coronavirus vaccine on male fertility. Lead researchers Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, a reproductive urologist with U Health, initiated an earlier study which found the virus was present in the testicles for up to six months following infection. That spurred his team to question the virus’ effect on sperm and reproduction. His team is now looking at the potential impact of the vaccine as well. “We’re evaluating the sperm parameters and quality before the vaccine and after the vaccine. From the biology of the COVID vaccine we believe it shouldn’t affect...

During my round up of post-election news on December 21, 2020, I noted a new filing regarding Pennsylvania: First, the Trump campaign has filed a Petition for A Writ of Certiorari, and related Motion for expedited consideration, with the U.S.Supreme Court. The Petition asks SCOTUS to overturn Pennsylvania Supreme Court decisions regarding election procedure. The case can’t change the outcome of the election, because even without PA, Biden still would have sufficient electoral college votes to win. It’s hard to say what SCOTUS will do because many of the procedural problems of prior suits are absent, but it’s also coming...

Mitch has threatened Senators with political repercussions for standing with our President to expose voter fraud. We need to show them what the repercussions are for spineless cowardice in the face of treason! Sample letter: Dear Senator/Congressman blank I am writing in response to Mitch McDonnell's threat of political consequences for supporting our President in his quest for honesty and transparency in the 2020 election. I am here to tell you the real consequences of NOT supporting our President. The record turnout at the election past was not in support of Mitch or Carl Rove! It was because we the...

BREAKING: Federal Appeals Court Tosses Trump Election Case https://t.co/1C9fYKuJDH— The Election Wizard (@Wizard_Predicts) December 25, 2020 Read Court Ruling CHICAGO — A federal appeals court ruled against President Donald Trump in his lawsuit against the Wisconsin Elections Commission today. On Christmas Eve, the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit affirmed a lower court’s ruling that dismissed Trump’s challenge in Wisconsin. “We agree that Wisconsin lawfully appointed its electors in the manner directed by its Legislature and add that the President’s claim also fails because of the unreasonable delay that accompanied the challenges the President now wishes to advance against...
