US voters have endured the first of three presidential debates between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The event has also prompted a huge reaction from world audiences who tuned in for the chaotic event. Newspapers and commentators around the world have criticized the tone and tactics of the debate. JOE BIDEN and President DONALD TRUMP took the stage in Cleveland for the first presidential debate — a 96-minute, commercial-free affair moderated by Fox News’ CHRIS WALLACE, 35 DAYS before Election Day. A few last-minute demands came in. JOE Biden has demanded a break every 30 minutes during tonight’s presidential...

After a tumultuous debate, some folks expected the market to open down this morning because it did want a contentious and uncertain election season (the market always wants calm and certainty). That said, the market is opening up (DJI up 257+- at the present time). This seems to say that investors believe Trump won the debate because a Biden win or a draw would have meant uncertainly and that would have a downward influence on the market.I invite other Freep-investors and market watchers to share their opinions.

In a particularly tense moment during the first presidential debate on Tuesday night, both Chris Wallace and President Donald Trump pressed Democratic nominee Joe Biden to answer whether or not he would pack the Supreme Court if he won the presidency and Democrats took the Senate next year. As Trump pressed Biden, the Democrat said, “Would you shut up, man?” and added, “This is so unpresidential.” Wallace noted that Democrats, not President Donald Trump, brought up the issue of packing the Supreme Court. “Are you willing to tell the American people tonight whether you will support ending the filibuster or...

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator, Andrew Wheeler, sent a letter to Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom warning about the legal implications of his recent Executive Order mandating that new vehicle sales starting in 2035 must be electric vehicles and chided him for the failing electricity infrastructure taking place in the state today.

Mark's comment in its entirety: As I reflect on last night’s debate, Biden pulled the same stunts on the president as he pulled on Paul Ryan eight years earlier, but Trump would have none of it. Biden was making faces, rolling his eyes, interrupting the president with laughs and jabs, and was long-winded, which the moderator allowed to a ridiculous level. He was also allowed much longer opportunities uninterrupted by the moderator to speak, which Biden used to hurl one nasty lie after another. The president is a counter-puncher and often was forced to try to muscle his way in...

President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden went head-to-head on Tuesday night, and moderator Chris Wallace got knocked out. Wallace seemed to push left-wing talking points to help Biden and hurt Trump, but both candidates talked over him. Trump and Biden brought out the fisticuffs and both got in a few good hits. Biden stumbled but he did not come across as a bumbling fool. While Trump and Biden both went on the offensive, Trump got in more clear statements and Biden came across as shifty, especially on packing the Supreme Court.Wallace asked Biden if he would support expanding...

A surprise sequel to the hit 2006 comedy Borat from Sacha Baron Cohen is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video prior to Election Day, Deadline reports. Collider previously reported that a Borat sequel had already been filmed, although it wasn't clear at the time when it might be released. The plot of the sequel, Collider reported, involves Baron Cohen's character of Borat going undercover to conduct interviews after the original film made him famous, and The Film Stage also reported that "Trump and Epstein's relationship, as well as the coronavirus, all figure into the main narrative with cameos from...

In 2016, the polls were wrong. In 2020, there are subtle indications that the polls, almost all of which have Biden in the lead, will be wrong again. Admittedly, these are subtle indicators, but they still resonate (at least with me, when I'm feeling optimistic). The latest subtle indicators are a viral video from a black man who sees his economic salvation in a Trump economy and a Bret Stephens article in the New York Times recounting his interview with a lesbian who has confessed that she is a secret Trump voter. Years ago, a young friend told me to...

1. Chris Wallace fought hard but lost fight by decision to @realDonaldTrump 2. Biden’s favorite son was Beau, not Hunter. 3. Jill Biden hid behind mask, Melania did not. 4. Democrats grooming is for mail vote election chaos, Trump knows it & will be ready. 5. Biden looks ill, Trump looked tanned, rested & ready. 6. Biden allowed to interrupt, Wallace chastised Trump. 7. Police support Trump, none support Biden. 8. When Wallace stayed out of it, Trump won by 3 1/2 years over Biden 47 years. 9. Trump had a mask handy, Biden did not. 10. Biden is the...

Tuesday's debate for the 2020 presidential election between President Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden was moderated by establishment Chris Wallace. Biden and Trump more or less ran over Wallace for 90 minutes. Biden appeared to be in his right mind, alert, and healthy but, as usual, lost in the world of left-wing talking points. When Christine O'Donnell ran against Joe Biden for U.S. Senate in 2008, she often vividly explained that people were wearing bell-bottom jeans and dancing the hustle way back when Joe Biden was last in the private sector and was first elected to the...

California is expanding the pool of prospective jurors beyond those with driver’s licenses and the voter rolls, under new legislation signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom. The governor this week signed Senate Bill 592 by State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco), which has been dubbed the “Fair Juries Act.” Under SB592, jury commissioners across California would be required to include anyone who files state taxes along with DMV records and lists of registered voters.

It's crystal-clear that the media branch of the Democrat party thinks Joe Biden blew it last night and damaged his electoral prospects in the first of three scheduled debates with President Trump. There seems to be pretty widespread consensus on the left that when it comes to Biden, the less voters know about him by watching him in presidential spotlight, the better. Fox News has assembled a large number of calls on Biden to go back to his basement on the next two debate nights, October 15 and 22. CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer kicked off the network's post-debate coverage by pondering...

President Trump came into Tuesday night’s debate trailing both nationally and in key battleground states. The debate gave him the largest audience of the campaign and provided him the first real opportunity to press his case against Joe Biden and shake up the race. Instead, it ended up as a blown opportunity. Right out of the gate, Trump pursued an aggressive strategy of interrupting Biden, speaking over moderator Chris Wallace, and launching a flurry of attacks. At first, one could perhaps see a method to his madness, as Biden seemed frustrated and rattled. At one point, an exasperated Biden snapped,...

8 Comments Calls for podcaster Joe Rogan to host the next presidential debate are intensifying after the disastrous performance of moderator Chris Wallace. Wallace was unable to control either candidate in Cleveland as Biden and Trump constantly interrupted each other throughout the night. The Fox News host also displayed flagrant bias by abandoning his supposedly neutral role and becoming a third participant in the debate, interrupting Trump 5 times more than Biden. Earlier this month, Rogan extended an invitation to both Trump and Biden for a 4 hour unedited debate. Trump almost immediately accepted, but the Biden campaign refused to...

"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might" (Eph. 6:10). You can be victorious! This month we've learned many things about spiritual warfare that I pray will better equip you for victory in your Christian life. In concluding our brief study of Ephesians 6:10-18, here are some key principles I want you to remember: Remember that Satan is a defeated foe. Jesus came to destroy his works (1 John 3:8) and will someday cast him into eternal hell (Rev. 20:10). Remember the power of Christ in your life. John said, "Greater is He who is...

Information is very fragmented at this time, so details are bound to change, but reports state that a military aircraft has crashed somewhere near the Salton Sea in Southern California. Witnesses said they saw things dropping from the sky, possibly under parachutes, not long before an aircraft impacted the ground. We reached out to NAF El Centro, which is located nearby in the Imperial Valley, who told us that military and law enforcement air assets are on the scene, but they do not know specifically what crashed or even if it was one of the many Navy and Marine...

Is there any way to change these Presidential debates to a written test? Predictably, the punditry spent most of their time hand-wringing over the lack of decorum. Makes you wonder if they have ever seen Trump before. If the talking heads could move beyond their offended sensibilities, they would see that there were some substantive exchanges. Republicans think Trump did great, and Democrats think Biden did great – or, more accurately that Trump was awful. But, in this cacophony of a debate the only certain loser was China. Both candidates agree that China is a menace. On balance, Trump had...

CLAIM: Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed to not support the Green New Deal during Tuesday’s presidential debate in Cleveland, Ohio. VERDICT: FALSE. Biden’s own campaign website describes the Green New Deal as a “crucial framework” in combating what it claims is a “climate crisis” in a section titled, “THE BIDEN PLAN FOR A CLEAN ENERGY REVOLUTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE”: Vice President Biden knows there is no greater challenge facing our country and our world. Today, he is outlining a bold plan – a Clean Energy Revolution – to address this grave threat and lead the world in addressing the...

September 30, 2020 Memorial of Saint Jerome, Priest and Doctor of the Church Reading 1 JB 9:1-12, 14-16 Job answered his friends and said:I know well that it is so; but how can a man be justified before God? Should one wish to contend with him, he could not answer him once in a thousand times. God is wise in heart and mighty in strength; who has withstood him and remained unscathed? He removes the mountains before they know it; he overturns them in his anger. He shakes the earth out of its place, and the pillars beneath it tremble....
