In 2016, the polls were wrong. In 2020, there are subtle indications that the polls, almost all of which have Biden in the lead, will be wrong again. Admittedly, these are subtle indicators, but they still resonate (at least with me, when I'm feeling optimistic). The latest subtle indicators are a viral video from a black man who sees his economic salvation in a Trump economy and a Bret Stephens article in the New York Times recounting his interview with a lesbian who has confessed that she is a secret Trump voter.
Years ago, a young friend told me to stop obsessing over Rachel Maddow. She's nothing, he said, and the same is true for other cable news hosts. The real energy is in podcasts and video shows. Tim Pool is one of the people who brings this new energy to our political debate. Like many thoughtful young people who weren't ready to toe the Democrat party line, he started agnostic and ended up approving of Trump.
One of Pool's listeners is a man named Gary Lamb. Lamb uploaded a viral video in which he thanks Pool for opening his eyes to the lies of the left and enabling him to embrace the benefits flowing from a Trump presidency. It's worth watching the entire nine minutes. Lamb is a man who has had a tremendously hard life but always held on to his moral core. He was losing hope, though, and it was the Trump presidency especially the Trump economy that saved him:

Gary Lamb is not the only decent, hardworking man out there who's never benefited from the Democrats' endlessly broken promises, but who has seen his world improve because Trump kept his word.

As a lesbian in NYC, Chris should be a Biden voter, but she's not. Although deep in the closet because she knows that the abuse she would receive for her political views is worse than anything she received for her sexual orientation, Chris is voting for Trump.
Chris's metrics are simple: her 401k plan went up 19.6 percent before the lockdown, and her gas prices have dropped. She doesn't care about what's going on in the world; she cares about what's going on in her personal economy.
That’s always that deal, all politics is local. People care about how leaders impact them.
Why I’m not too concerned about Trump’s reviews from the debate. If he wins, it will be because people think he’s good for the economy (which I would guess is always going to be the biggest issue, especially during this period).
Almost all polls depend on people willing to take an unsolicited call and then discuss their personal political opinions and other personal information with a stranger. Decent conservative people simply do not take the calls. Rigid sample polls are statistically useless. The pollsters, like all businessmen, try to deliver what their biased clients want.
I have an “empty chair” (dollhouse size) in the rear window of my car. Lot of us quiet Trump supporters around.
If he wins, it will be because people think hes good for the economy

And/or Biden is too beholden to the radical left and he scares people. Biden did nothing to shake that image at all last night.
What's amazing is that some people actually maintain friendships with people they believe would abuse them if they didn't "behave" or vote correctly.
I wonder if gays realize realize that most conservatives aren't interested in your sex life and don't care if you are gay ... unless, of course, you get in their face with it and tell them what they must think of it, or push it on their children by way of school boards. Then it's game on.
LGBT understand the closet.
Cancel Culture plus Antifa plus BLM lynching are teaching us about the closet
The absurdly low, declining response rate for polls makes them less reliable in measuring Trump support. Attempts to adjust by demographics fail because they do not reflect Trump supporters who are outside the demographic model.
On Facebook there is a massive group of people who have walked away from the Democratic Party. Every day hundreds of people join and tell their stories. It’s gotten to the point I have to turn off the updates, because my feed gets slammed with them.
The group is a few thousand shy of 500k members. Each story is amazing to read for how these folks are escaping the cult of the Democratic Party.
Guys like Tim Poole (YouTubers) helped open their eyes. Many also came over after seeing Trump, day after day, at the podium during the pandemic. They saw him live, then saw how the media did false stories about him saying the opposite of what he really said. They put two and two together, and walked away.
Find me similar energy in masses of people leaving Trump.
Later
Some poll worker called the other day and got my Robokiller app Area 51 response. Hilarity ensued.
stock market started realizing last week that Trump was going to be the next president of the United States so the sell-off begin to readjust money....now but buy buy GoUSA
That's an excellent point. True friends should be accepting of each other's differences. We're not clones of each other - though the left wants us all to be cutout NPC copies of each other toeing the party line. The left, as a group, are aggressively intolerant of alternative viewpoints.
Back shortly after bammy began his hostile occupation of the White House I had to divest myself of several people I had thought were my friends. A couple dropped me because they apparently couldn't accept that I wasn't enthusiastically embracing the usurper. I had to drop a guy I had previously looked up to. His total capitulation to his new, far younger, liberal wife, his abandonment of a lifetime of values simply to appease the (admittedly ridiculously hot) woman warming his bed... I lost all respect for him. While I can be (and am) friends with people with differing political views, I cannot be friends with people I no-longer respect.
I sure do hope so...
Wallass did not even talk about the D.C. Swamp.
*************
Wallace is DC Swamp creature. Everyone he knows and associates with are too. He’s definitely inside the DC Bubble.
Wallace was THE WORST moderator yet. He made Candy Crowley look like an objective journalist by comparison.
At the end of the debate Trump should have referred to “both of my opponents” since he spent more time debating Wallace than Biden.
“The stock market started realizing last week that Trump was going to be the next president of the United States so the sell-off begin to readjust money....”
Readjust money how? Where? Where was the money before this great awakening by the Market investors?
I am a 40+ year investor in the markets and my guess is the markets began anticipating there would NOT be an additional stimulus at this time and that was why the sell off occurred. It was the anticipation in the weeks previous that drove the averages to a peak before the selloff began 3 weeks ago.
I seriously would like to hear your reasons for the position you have taken.
