Mainstream Media inadvertently declare Trump the winner last night — by urging Biden to boycott next 2 scheduled debates

It's crystal-clear that the media branch of the Democrat party thinks Joe Biden blew it last night and damaged his electoral prospects in the first of three scheduled debates with President Trump.  There seems to be pretty widespread consensus on the left that when it comes to Biden, the less voters know about him by watching him in presidential spotlight, the better.

Fox News has assembled a large number of calls on Biden to go back to his basement on the next two debate nights, October 15 and 22.

CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer kicked off the network's post-debate coverage by pondering about the future of the Trump-Biden face-offs.

"It will certainly raise a lot of questions ... about the future of presidential debate between these two candidates. I wouldn't be surprised, by the way, if this is the last presidential debate between the president of the United States and the former vice president of the United States," Blitzer said.

At rabidly anti-Trump CNN, Blitzer had company:

"Should there be other debates?" CNN anchor Anderson Cooper asked. "The vice-presidential debate is next and there's supposed to be two more debates."

"I have to say I don't think the country is going to be yearning for another one of these," CNN analyst David Axelrod responded. "I think Biden has a decision to make."

MSNBC was not about to let CNN steal the no-more-debates show:

"This is a disgrace, a low point in American debate history. There is no reason, not one, that Joe Biden should participate in another debate," MSNBC host Joe Scarborough tweeted. (snip)

Cancel the remaining debates," former MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry said. "The debates are now a danger to public safety and a direct threat to Black life. "

Cancel the remaining debates,” former MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry said. “The debates are now a danger to public safety and a direct threat to Black life. “

Can I ask, how exactly debates are a danger to public safety? How do they threaten public safety?

And follow up question, how are debates racist, and a threat to Black life????

These people throw out one liners as if it is so obvious that these debates are dangerous. Dangerous? What a curious word choice.

Best thing for Trump if Biden withdraws. Simple message. Biden can’t debate, he can’t campaign and he definitely cannot govern. Trump will mock him mercilessly and the people will begin to understand that he is an empty manequin. Tell us Joe, did you enjoy your lid day? BTW just what do you do during your lid days?

The “debate” was the culmination of the dems’ efforts during 2020 to dump Trump.

Every false accusation they hurled at Trump was written down in biden’s notes: military, downplay, Charlottesville. biden read every one of the dems’ talking points, that Trump caused covid19, the fires, the recession and the riots.

The public should have looked at biden and asked how he could deal with foreign leaders who play hardball. If biden dealt with them the way he dealt with Trump, it would be a disaster. The US president has to deal with Putin, Xi, Kim Jong-un, Erdogan, Rouhani, and all the other hard nosed leaders who are looking out for their own countries and want to put as much over the US president as possible to get as much out of him as possible.

George Stephanopoulos called the first debate between Joe Biden and President Trump “the worst presidential debate I’ve ever seen,” but I rather liked it. Frankly, the only thing that made it bad, in my opinion, was Chris Wallace trying to moderate. Why do we need moderators for debates? I think it would be better to just let the candidates ask each other the questions they want answered and let them go. Fight it out!

Every time the debate seemed to be getting into something good, Wallace would jump in to demand that all the fun stop immediately—and then force us to eat our vegetables.

But we don’t want peas, Chris. We want a grudge match. We want UFC-style slugging it out that leaves bruises we’ll all be talking about for weeks to come.

Those of you wringing your hands about how “mean” and “unprofessional” it was are liars. You loved it, but you don’t want anyone to know that. It was entertaining as heck.

Despite Wallace’s best attempts, the president still got some good Trumpisms in. Here are a few of Trump’s funniest moments:

“Masks aren’t stupid per se, but Joe Biden looks really dumb in his.”

Trump went on the attack to throw Joe off-balance and boy, did he asked Joe point blank whether or not he planned to pack the Supreme Court ... Biden declines to answer the question ( I’ll take that as a YES, Joe ).

Here’s another funny part:

Chris Wallace: “Vice President Biden, you are holding much smaller events —”

President Trump: “Because nobody will show up.”

Trump always has double duty: debate the candidate AND the moderator!

Trump to Chris Wallace: “I guess I’m debating you.”

This was brutal:

President Trump: “Don’t ever use the word ‘smart’ with me. Don’t ever use that word, because you know what? There’s nothing smart about you, Joe.”

What was your favorite jab of the evening? How did you think the candidates did? Personally, I was surprised that Biden made it to the end without a bathroom break. Other than that, nothing about it surprised me. I expected to see these guys duke it out. The real loser was Chris Wallace, who interrupted the president every time he tried to finish a thought while allowing Biden extra time.

Sure, cancel the debates, isn’t that what we do when meetings with world leaders don’t go well for us?
