Trump is set to hold another rally at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Harrisburg International Airport, despite Wolf’s public pleas for the president not to endanger Pennsylvanians. The governor said he sent a letter to the president earlier this month asking that he abide by public health guidance in visits to the commonwealth. Wolf called Trump’s insistence on holding Saturday’s event “gravely concerning.” “No matter what party you support, all Americans should be very concerned that the President has put headlines and publicity above the health and safety of our families and communities," said Wolf, a Democrat. “It is dangerous...

The historic precedents fit the president’s actions. Despite the lies and hysteria of the Democrats, left-wing activists, and the propaganda media, the historic fact is that President Trump is simply following precisely the precedent set in 1800. There is nothing to suggest a President cannot nominate a replacement if a court position is vacant up until the day his or her term ends. Furthermore, given the hatred and vitriol with which Democrats have tried to destroy President Trump, why should he worry about their hand wringing and whining? Trump supporters elected him to change Washington. He has an astonishing opportunity...

Cape Lejeune Marine Corps Base on the North Carolina coast has issued a safety alert after multiple people reported being attacked at the military facility by coyotes. At least four attacks have occurred recently on the eastern side of the base, near the Wallace Creek area, officials said in a Facebook post. Investigators did not give details of the injuries, but noted all victims “were running after dark in the vicinity.” The latest attack occurred at 4 a.m. Sept. 23. All the victims reported being near offices of the II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group Command when attacked, officials said....

“It was the third of September / That day I’ll always remember,” begins “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone,” the classic song by the Temptations. Though it became one of their biggest hits, the group initially rejected the song - and that opening line proved problematic as well. “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone” was penned by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong, two of the most successful songwriters in Motown’s arsenal. Whitfield created the song’s haunting melody, while Strong handled the lyrics. “Norman said he wanted lyrics that were fun, not serious, so listeners would have a good time with it,” Strong...

An ultra-Orthodox Israeli student now living in Colombia said that he spotted a kosher red heifer on Wednesday that would be available immediately upon the coming of the Messiah reports Radio 2000. The man took footage of the animal, and claims that halakhic (Jewish legal) authorities have confirmed that at first glance, it is indeed kosher. The student purchased the cow for an undisclosed but “large” sum of money. Currently, the Temple Institute who approved its purchase is waiting to ensure that she doesn’t grow any white or black hairs. If it doesn’t it will be officially declared a red...

Russiagate, impeachment, the coronavirus power grab, riots, overhyped Trump “scandals” that came and went, and nonstop venom, vitriol, and vituperation come together under this label: the Continuing Tantrum. The presidential election is less than two months away, and we’re being promised the tantrum to end all tantrums, a Super Tantrum, if the harpy and the dotard don’t win. Children don’t have a shadowy cabal and mainstream political, business, and media figures encouraging (and funding) their tantrums. Unlike Continuing Tantrum partisans, children who tantrum can be spanked or put in time out, they don’t burn down cities or launch coups, and...

My Congressman in Florida’s 1st Congressional District and himself an attorney pointed out that giving something of value for a vote is a felony in Florida. It might be just desserts if Billion-dollar Bloomberg had to pay off his own fines and serve his own time for skirting the law to steal an election.

Debates are an opportunity to speak directly to voters. If you’re doing it right as a candidate, you’re just a more distilled version of your usual self. If you’re grasping for a debate strategy, you have bigger problems than debating: Your message should be a simple extension of your overall campaign message and strategy. Biden has both. Trump has neither.

I want to buy a home defense shotgun and I would appreciate FR input. I’ve always been more of a rifle and pistol person. What say y’all to a senior citizen buying a shotgun for the first time. Is Mossberg Shockmaster or Roadblocker a good choice.

Nancy Pelosi is now out there spitting out all sorts of gibberish and horse manure, which means something big us up and she is desperately trying to steer attention away from it. This is what that is. In the release of an explosive document based on interviews with an FBI agent we learn that Robert Mueller and his team were not interested in evidence- because they had none- but were interested in trying to "get Trump." Now this is nothing new for a lot of us because we'd said this from the beginning but it sure is nice to have...

Why I'm Running “I was born and raised in the district, and continue to live and work here today. Putting what’s best for the 14th District ahead of partisanship will be my priority in Congress. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez chased Amazon out of Queens, and that cost us thousands of jobs. I will fight to bring Amazon back, and make our district appealing for future job creators” John Cummings for Congress NY-14

The reference is to a country-based analysis updated Sept. 20 that shows a gap between countries that treat COVID-19 early or prophylactically with hydroxychloroquine and those that, like the U.S., discourage or prohibit its use. The answer to Orient's question can be found in a white paper published by the Economic Standard this month titled "Hydroxychloroquine and the Burden of Proof: An Urgent Call to Depoliticize Medicine in the COVID-19 Pandemic." "The COVID-19 pandemic struck America nine months before a presidential election, turning basic medical activities like testing and treatment into partisan battlegrounds," writes Economic Standard Editor-in-Chief Erik Sass in...

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler (D) warned “far-right groups” to stay away from the city, stating that “intending to intimidate, create fear, commit violence, or spread hate is not welcome here” — However, he has routinely failed to apply the same standard to Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters who have continually inflicted carnage on the city for well over 100 days. “On Saturday, Sept. 26, a group of far-right extremists and white nationalist groups will be coming to our city,” Wheeler said in a Thursday op-ed after touting Portland as a sanctuary city and beacon of racial justice.

President Donald Trump intends to choose Amy Coney Barrett to be the new Supreme Court justice, according to multiple senior Republican sources with knowledge of the process. In conversations with some senior Republican allies on the Hill, the White House is indicating that Barrett is the intended nominee, multiple sources said. All sources cautioned that until it is announced by the President, there is always the possibility that Trump makes a last-minute change but the expectation is Barrett is the choice. He is scheduled to make the announcement on Saturday afternoon. Barrett has been the leading choice throughout the week,...

Gov. Tom Wolf issued a statement Friday calling President Donald J. Trump’s continued scheduling of large campaign rallies in Pennsylvania dangerous, manipulative and wrong, and urged all attendees “to think of the health and safety of their families and their communities before attending... any rally put on by the Trump campaign.” If they do persist in going, Wolf said, their duty to their families and friends includes wearing a mask and maintaining proper social distancing for the duration of the events. Wolf’s comments come as the president is making huge personal investments in trying to hold Pennsylvania and it’s 20...

Facebook has restricted “distribution” of Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson’s page due to the “repeated sharing of false news.” The censorship comes just over a month before the presidential election. “Your Page has reduced distribution and other restrictions because of repeated sharing of false news. People will also be able to see if a Page has a history of sharing false news,” read Facebook’s notice. Facebook did not specify which post or posts had led to the decision.
