The United States plans to turn back all asylum seekers and most other foreigners attempting to enter the United States from Mexico illegally, arguing the step is necessary to combat the fast-spreading coronavirus, according to U.S. media reports on Tuesday. The new rule, which is expected to be announced in the next 48 hours, would allow border patrol agents to immediately return to Mexico anyone who tries to cross the southwestern border between legal ports of entry without detainment or due process, the New York Times reported. Ports of entry will remain open to commercial traffic and to U.S. citizens...

America’s deeply unserious but very corrupt and unreliable establishment media have no intention of changing their dangerous ways in the age of the Wuhan coronavirus. Watching the media spread lies and unnecessary panic over the last few weeks reminds me of the CNN Race Riots of 2014. After the George Zimmerman Hoax failed, after it was discovered that a white man had not hunted down and murdered a black teen (Zimmerman is Hispanic and a jury ruled he killed in self-defense), the fake news media moved on to the Hands-Up-Don’t-Shoot Hoax, which was led primarily by far-left CNN and the...

The head of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) abruptly resigned Tuesday, leaving a void atop a sprawling agency that oversees the federal workforce. "OPM has received the resignation of OPM Director Dale Cabaniss and OPM Deputy Director Michael Rigas is Acting Director, Office of Personnel Management," an OPM spokesperson confirmed in a statement. Cabaniss's departure was unexpected, according to sources familiar with the matter, and was believed to be related to internal conflicts. She chafed at treatment by John McEntee, the 29-year-old head of the office, as well as Paul Dans, OPM’s White House liaison, Politico reported. McEntee...

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has clinched the Republican Party nomination, surpassing the necessary delegate threshold.Trump, who had only token opposition, now has more than the 1,276 delegates needed after winning Tuesday’s Florida and Illinois primaries, according to The Associated Press’ delegate count. With concerns of the Coronavirus Outbreak the media has been less involved with other matters. As a result I would like to post something unrelated to that of the virus. The linked asteroid collision map is a simulation that lets ordinary users like you take the powers of nature into your hands and view the destruction of asteroid collisions in different magnitudes and mediums. It's extremely interesting to see how a relatively small object can wreak havoc on society because of it's high impact speed. I believe that having tools similar to this is important because it raises awareness to...

New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority has asked for a federal bailout of $4 billion because of the growing cost of the novel coronavirus. MTA Chairman Patrick Foye, in a letter to New York’s congressional delegation Tuesday, said the authority estimates that it will lose $3.7 billion in fare revenues as ridership has plummeted since the start of outbreak early this month and is expected to stay at a low level for six months.

The European country has the second-most cases in the world at 27,980 — second only to China — and almost 2,000 deaths so far. Now researchers are learning why. Italy’s social and multigenerational way of life, in which the young and old live and spend quality time together often, could be why rates of infection and death are so high, according to a new paper published on the Open Science Framework by researchers at the University of Oxford. The paper says that Italy has one of the oldest populations in the world — 23.3% of people are over age 65...

Tucker Carlson reports latest statistics showing 86% of those infected DO NOT KNOW they are infected with COVID-19. So, if you've got it, but don't feel it, with no affects, what exactly is this all about ? Nothing. Nothing except carrying the disease to elders who are at much greater risk. That should be the focus. I chronologically qualify as one of those at greater risk, but still believe this is massively overblown. Certainly not worth shutting down the country and ruining life savings and the economy.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Appearing before the cameras coughing and sweating profusely, the man leading Iran's response to the new coronavirus outbreak promised it was of no danger to his country. "Quarantines belong to the Stone Age," Iraj Harirchi insisted. A day later, he himself would be in quarantine from the virus. Harirchi's story is a microcosm of what has happened in Iran amid the coronavirus pandemic. Roughly nine out of 10 cases in the Middle East come from the Islamic Republic, which has reported over 16,000 people infected and at least 988 deaths amid fears that cases...

The Government is considering introducing the emergency registration of retired nurses and other health professionals as part of its ‘battle plan’ against coronavirus. Latest official figures show 115 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 in the UK and one person has died. Health secretary Matt Hancock announced last weekend that the next phase of the Government’s response to the virus could see broader measures introduced to ‘relieve pressure on the NHS’. ‘Staff rostering changes may be necessary, including calling leavers and retirees back to duty,’ stated the action plan, set out earlier this week. The introduction of emergency indemnity coverage...

We've all witnessed the shocking scenes of racists attacking Asian-Americans, accusing them of responsibility for the coronavirus! Oh, wait: we've seen no such thing. But that didn't stop MSNBC political analyst Karine Jean-Pierre of MoveOn.org from spouting off late Monday afternoon that President Trump's referring to the coronavirus as "Chinese virus" was not only racist, but places Asian-American "lives at risk".. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.
