Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Not to be confused with Pocahontas) arguably should end her presidential campaign after an embarrassing third-place finish in her home state of Massachusetts. As of 11 p.m. Eastern, former Vice President Joe Biden had won the state with 33 percent of the vote, with Sen. Bernie Sanders (S-USSR) behind him at 27 percent. Warren trailed at 22 percent, almost 100,000 votes behind Biden. Decision Desk results for Massachusetts. Not only did Warren lose her own state but she took third place, behind both the ostensible moderate Biden and the socialist Bernie Sanders. If a presidential candidate cannot win her...

If someone has been judged to have been the worst prognosticator for 2016 you would wonder why his book on how to beat Trump in 2020 is being hyped. Such is the case with Politico whose reporter, Alex Thompson, proclaimed David Plouffe as the worst prognosticator of 2016 yet oddly plugged his book on 2020 election tactics as he did on Super Tuesday in "The worst prognosticator of 2016 makes a 2020 comeback." First, Thompson reveals how horribly (and laughably) wrong Plouffe was in 2016 before weirdly plugging his new book on how to beat Trump as somehow valid.

If you need a laugh, then here you go. This is Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks freaking out that Sanders is about to lose again due to a rigged DNC Primary. https://twitter.com/CHIZMAGA/status/1235225336704430080

All cults and manmade religions are based in “works righteousness.” Their adherents believe they have to do something to earn their way to heaven—pray five times a day, lie on beds of nails, do good works, fast, repeat certain prayers, etc. They do this because they are ignorant of God’s standard of righteousness. This is why they need the Law of God to show them that the leap they are trying to make is infinitely wider than the Grand Canyon. However, before you take them through the Law, help them see that they are indeed trusting in “works” for salvation....

The obvious news is that many voters, after staring into the abyss of Bernie Sanders’ socialism and seeing Fidel Castro looking back at them, are turning to Biden as their preferred candidate. Biden, after looking like a loser last week, is looking like a contender this week. The less obvious news, though, is that in many states there was a real fire among Republicans, even though Donald Trump is a virtually uncontested incumbent. People ought to be staying home but in several states they are voting for Trump in droves. The following data is from Decision Desk HQ, as of...

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recently released its preliminary report on the revenue effects of the first two pillars of its anti-base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) project. The topic may be dense, but the results are not — implementation of the OECD’s plan would result in a $100 billion tax increase on mostly American businesses. The OECD began its BEPS project in 2013 in response to concerns about corporations avoiding taxes with offshore accounts. Since then, it has released a 15-point action plan, encouraging member countries to comply with the points in order to maximize revenue...

Joe Biden has dementia. I don’t say that critically, or mockingly, but sadly. And honestly. And the Democratic Party needs to have that same honesty. To recognize that this man, with his decades of service to our nation, has not just lost something on his fastball, he is in obvious and debilitating decline. And is not fit to be president. This is not a partisan observation – though I am a Republican and will be voting for Donald Trump. It is something which is known by anyone who listens to him, who remembers who he was, who sees the stumbles...

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has received a lot of criticism over his billionaire status within the Democratic Party’s nomination contest for president in 2020. But the large sums of money he has accumulated may help the eventual candidate to defeat President Donald Trump in November - even if Bloomberg isn’t the party’s nominee. According to reporting from NBC News, Bloomberg currently has a staff of 500 election workers across the country. Bloomberg is committed to paying those individuals to keep on working through November, dedicating themselves to helping the eventual nominee from the Democratic Party win the...

I recently had the opportunity to listen to two Canadian citizens discuss the Canadian health care system, and their personal experiences within it. They were very successful, middle-aged couple who had been involved in a motor vehicle accident in the United States while driving to Florida. The accident in which they were involved was quite serious. The wife suffered fractured ribs and a fractured sternum. She also experienced pain in her shoulder, which wasn’t initially detected or diagnosed due to the extent of whole-body pain she was in. She was taken to a nearby hospital. Her husband, however, was more...

Many progressives bristled at Steyer being in the race — he’s a former hedge funder, though he turned to activism years ago — but it was Bloomberg who really set off a firestorm. He came into the race in November as the billionaire white knight no one invited to the party (at least not any of the cool kids). Over the past few months, it has really felt like Bloomberg is everywhere — even in New York City, where he is a known quantity and which votes on April 28, you watch a half-hour of Jeopardy in the evening and...

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is deciding whether to continue her presidential campaign, an aide told The Daily Beast on Wednesday. “Elizabeth is talking to her team to assess the path forward,” the aide said. The development comes after the latest round of disappointing finishes on Super Tuesday where Warren not only failed to win a single contest, she came in third in her home state of Massachusetts , behind former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York City, announced on Wednesday he's suspending his presidential campaign, although he has promised that his presence is sure to be felt through November. "Three months ago, I entered the race for President to defeat Donald Trump," Bloomberg said in a statement. "Today, I am leaving the race for the same reason: to defeat Donald Trump – because it is clear to me that staying in would make achieving that goal more difficult." The decision follows a disappointing Super Tuesday. Bloomberg threw his support behind former Vice President Joe Biden, who had...

Doubling down on comments made in a Hulu documentary she had filmed before the 2020 primary season, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign is "just baloney." In an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" with host Linsey Davis, the former 2016 presidential candidate said that her opinion of Sanders and his campaign has not changed. "That was my authentic opinion then; it's my authentic opinion now," she said.

Chicago authorities are defending their ongoing refusal to cooperate with federal immigration officials, even after an illegal alien they released from custody was arrested and charged with raping a three-year-old girl in a restaurant bathroom. According to this, 34-year-old Christopher Puente, a Mexican national living illegally in the United States and arrested for theft, was released by Chicago police in 2019 after the department ignored an ICE detainer per the city’s sanctuary policies that prohibit local cooperation with federal immigration officials. Puente was then arrested again in February for reportedly sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl in a McDonald’s bathroom. He has been...

The first nine coronavirus deaths in the U.S. show the biggest risks are not traveling internationally, riding mass transit or attending a crowded event. The most dangerous place to be is in a rehab or nursing home. The second-most dangerous is a hospital. Five residents of the Life Care Center, a nursing facility in Kirkland, Washington, have died, and some 50 other residents and staff members there reportedly have coronavirus symptoms. Be on the alert for more deadly outbreaks in nursing homes wherever coronavirus, now dubbed COVID-19, spreads. Nursing homes are infection cauldrons. Most nursing facilities ignore precautions like separating...
