[January 2020] Bloomberg Vows To Keep Staff Hired Through November To Defeat Trump - Even If He Doesn’t Win Dem Nomination

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has received a lot of criticism over his billionaire status within the Democratic Party’s nomination contest for president in 2020. But the large sums of money he has accumulated may help the eventual candidate to defeat President Donald Trump in November - even if Bloomberg isn’t the party’s nominee.

According to reporting from NBC News, Bloomberg currently has a staff of 500 election workers across the country. Bloomberg is committed to paying those individuals to keep on working through November, dedicating themselves to helping the eventual nominee from the Democratic Party win the presidential election.

Reportedly, Bloomberg is going to pay that large staff no matter who the nominee is.

“Mike Bloomberg is either going to be the nominee or the most important person supporting the Democratic nominee for president. He is dedicated to getting Trump out of the White House,” campaign manager Kevin Sheekey said.

Much of his staff are located in several battleground states, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, which helped deliver Trump an Electoral College victory in 2016. Bloomberg also has staff in states like North Carolina, Arizona, and Florida, which are teetering toward being swing states in this year’s general election contest as well.

The apparatus will now be available to Joe. With concessions and political favors of course.

He’ll probably keep his annoying bogus ads running through then too.

He funds all the Dems, down to dogcatchers. He’s like Soros, only richer and more focused on buying politicians.

Isn’t that an in kind campaign contribution?

Wow, more dirty pool. I was going to suggest he give all those tireless worker bees a generous golden parachute, but he just can't give it up. Talk about a really sore loser.

Right, now Joe has Mikey Mouse’s Billions. It is going to be a long miserable seven months.

This is only the beginning.

Once the full all-court press against Trump is unleashed,
including everything that was used against him the first time around,
the mental disease called liberalism will be staggering.

The staff failed to get him a victory anywhere with a $300M budget.

In other words, they are slow walking him, collecting the money while they are out partying or playing extreme sports.

;-)

“This should be illegal.”

Why?

If campaign spending is Speech, why should a citizen’s ability to express his First Amendment Rights be limited by a law?

All Little Gulp cares about is getting Trump out so that the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) can continue.

He’s lying. Just like a lot of pols, he’ll short his own staff - the ones foolish enough to stay. Good luck collecting after Election Day.

There are limits in personal contributions, but not PAC’s.

There should be no limits.

Spending is speech.

The same people who believe Russian was able to win an election by spending $100,000 on ads, are now telling us that $600,000,000 of ads by Michael Bloomberg were not enough to trick Democrat voters.

Without regard to your interpretation of the First Amendment, campaign finance laws are in effect and have been for some time. Mike may spend as much as he chooses on his own campaign but any money or in-kind services for any other candidate are subject lawful limits.

Yes, but a PAC can spend an unlimited amount.
