The United States has expanded travel restrictions on Iran to bar entry to foreign nationals who have recently visited the Middle Eastern nation, Vice President Mike Pence announced on Feb. 29. A skilled nursing facility in Washington state reported that at least two people have the new coronavirus strain, and state officials say other residents are reporting similar respiratory symptoms. One health worker at the nursing home, who is in her 40s, was found to have the virus. The other infected person is a 70-year-old resident. New York will ban single-use plastic bags in stores starting March 1. The state’s ban, which was passed last year by the state legislature, will impact both grocery and department stores. A woman in St. Louis has a frightening tale to tell after she was attacked and the suspect was apparently allowed to walk free. Her name is Alicia Clarke and she was attacked by her neighbor who tackled her, pulled her hair, broke her nose, and stabbed her with a metal rod. This was all over an incident where she lost her phone, used the 'Find My Iphone' to locate it, and confronted the teenage neighbor who responded by attacking her and leaving her a mess.
