During World War Two, Douglas MacArthur built his young wife a bathroom at Air Kaca in Morotai. The local land owner bestowed a huge honour on me when he asked me to create a memorial there. In response we put up an art display there and planted memorial trees over five years. When I tried to share these efforts and seek replication at important military heritage land in my own neighbourhood of Maribyrnong in Australia, I was accused of harassment, arrested by the police and dragged through psychological hell in a family violence court. When will the madness of modern...

Sen. Chris Murphy confirmed The Federalist’s reporting that he privately met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif without State Department knowledge or approval in Munich last week. After Mollie Hemingway first reported the meeting Monday, Murphy did not respond to any media inquiries. Tuesday, he published an account of his trip on Medium, sharing details of his meetings and describing his “mission” to meet with officials of Iran, which he described as “our adversary, responsible for the killing of thousands of Americans.” Murphy also described his “goals” for meeting with Zarif, but admitted that he “cannot conduct diplomacy on behalf...

President Trump accused former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg of trying to buy the presidency and claimed the billionaire was guilty of illegal campaign spending. "What Mini Mike is doing is nothing less than a large scale illegal campaign contribution," Trump tweeted Tuesday. "He is 'spreading' money all over the place, only to have recipients of his cash payments, many former opponents, happily joining or supporting his campaign. Isn’t that called a payoff?" "Mini is illegally buying the Democrat Nomination. They are taking it away from Bernie again. Mini Mike, Major Party Nominations are not for sale! Good luck...

Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf said on Tuesday that SWAT-like teams would not be needed to back up Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) efforts in so-called sanctuary cities if local officials there would help with immigration enforcement. “What we found in these sanctuary jurisdictions is that local law enforcement does not work with the department,” Wolf told Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.” “So what used to take one or two officers going into a jail setting and picking up an individual that's on a final order of removal, we now have to go into communities with many, many officers.”...
