“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!
Galatians 2:20 (King James Version)
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
You would think Iran, the Dims, and Tucker would finally get tired of losing bets to Trump, but apparently they think after a hundred in a row they are winning the next one. It looks like he has won without having to bomb the Persians into the Steam Age. Even if they did they would still have better Choo Choos than Gasbag Newsome does.
You will still have his critics saying he did not finish the job or did not get all of his demands and is a war criminal, but you have to axe, Is Iran stronger now than they were two months ago or weaker? The obvious answer is they are not only far weaker, but they could also be beaten by any of their neighboring countries who can manage half an army. They are defenseless.
If they are lying like most expect and do not open the Strait of Hormuz where a fifth of the world’s oil goes through, Trump can turn out the lights for them in minutes. If they begin digging for the uranium under the rubble the diggers will be filling their own graves within a few hours after they start. This country has nothing that can stop stealth aircraft and the US can observe their entire country 24/7/365, America has won.
Iran has gone from the strongest country in the Middle East to one of the weakest in a little over a year. They can no longer threaten their neighbors with nothing more than a rogue rocket or drone but nothing of any real threat or a chance of defeating those regimes. They are completely neutered, which is very dangerous in that portion of the world with centuries old enemies.
Trump obviously did not want to blow all their bridges and power plants so when the Iranians offered a legitimate offer to the mediators it gave him an excuse to stand down. He can start anytime he wants and if the negotiations stall or they become hostile he can hit the power plants and strategic bridges until they are ready to get serious about peace. He is going to make it very hard for them to put down any insurrections opening the door for an end to their Mooselimb dictatorship.
This was a masterful air campaign which destroyed their regime with minimal loss of life from both sides our soldiers or their civilians. He has negotiated through the regular diplomatic channels and on social media directly. He is one of a kind who is both creative and effective. In a few days there very well could be a peace like has never been in Persia. These are things nobody ever thought would happen and here they are. Let the oil tankers flow.
Pray for peace in Iran
Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.
Great set up bud!
it turns out Aishah Hasnie is in for Shannon Bream so that may change the dynamic of Fox News Sunday. just announced on Fox
I worry for two bad outcomes.
1) Iran can assemble cheap shaheed’s. They need fibreglass and small engines. They can fly 200 of those drones into Gulf state refineries and infrastructure, and only 5-10% have to make it to their target
2) ROW (chyna, Australia, EU) get no oil. Ultimate opportunity to show solar works. Will those economies go into deep depression? do we care?
Trump obviously did not want to blow up all their bridges and power plants. So when the Iranians offered a legitimate offer to the mediators it gave him an excuse to stand down. He can start anytime he wants and if the negotiations stall or they become hostile he can hit the power plants and strategic bridges until they are ready to get serious about peace. As hard as Trump has tried to end the hold that terrorists have on Iran its always difficult to deal with an opponent that has no regard for life. The fact that the Iranaian mullahs,IGRC, had no problem a month ago or so killing in cold blood between 45 and 70,000 unarmed freedom fighters let's you know who you are up against.
The fact that VP Vance tried in vain to work a peace plan with the terrorists now running Iran is not very surprising. I just posted this a few minutes ago:
Seems we negotiated with terrorists, always a hard thing to do, and got no deal,so far.
from the link below:
“So we go back to the United States, having not come to an agreement. We've made very clear what our red lines are, what things we're willing to accommodate them on and what things we're not willing to accommodate them on,” Vance added. “And we've made that as clear as we possibly could, and they have chosen not to accept our terms.”
Fox News Digital’s Preston Mizell asked Vance if he had been in contact with President Donald Trump during the talks, and the Vice President said he had been “consistently.”
“I don't know how many times we talked to him — a half dozen times, a dozen times over the past 21 hours,” Vance said, adding that the U.S. team was also communicating with other members of the Trump administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Negotiating with terrorists is always about as tough as it gets.
Vice President JD Vance walks with Pakistan's Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, U.S. Embassy Charge d'Affaires Natalie A. Baker, and Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi after arriving for talks with Iranian officials in Islamabad, Pakistan, on April 11, 2026. (Jacquelyn Martin/Reuters)
You have to wonder if Pres. Trump wasn't facing a tough venture after the mullahs mowed down the 70,000 freedom fighters. After that it's going to be tough to find anyone protesting unarmed in the streets of Iran.
Why were the protesters unarmed? Not because Pres. Trump had not tried to arm them. He gave loads of ammo arms and who knows what to the Kurds to distribute to freedom fighters who were protesting in the streets.
Problem is the Kurds kept the arms.
Why did the kurds keep the arms? Because they had helped the US for decades yet whenever they asked for help they were either ignored or given some stupid reason why they could not be helped. So this time when "they" were asked to help once again, they just kept the arms. At least we know why.
Digging a little deeper you have to wonder why the CIA could not arm the protesters/freedom fighters in Iran over a period of some 47 years!! What was CIA doing to help Iranain freedom fighters? Evidently not enough if anything at all.So if you want to know why things may have wound up as they have so far look no further than CIA, IMHO. Kinda sounds familiar doesn't it,when you consider Venezuela and Cuba, both company failures until Trump came along.
Ironically, the beauty of capitalism and it's key ingredient" supply and demand may already have solved some of the Iranian holding the straits hostage problem.
Who uses the 20% of crude that passes through the straits of Hormuz? Here's a breakdown courtesy of a good friend.
China absorbed 37.7 percent of the total followed by India at 14.7 percent South Korea at 12 percent Japan at 10.9 percent and other Asian buyers at 13.9 percent.
Europe received just 3.8 percent and the United States only 2.5 percent. The IRGC was never holding the West hostage. It holds the East.
Long story short seems the big producers may have already solved the problem of the straits. The US,Russia,Saudi Arabia and a few other producers of not only crude but other energy may have ramped up production enough to counter the loss of oil flowing through the straits.
Seems China did the same thing we did by ramping up reserves and other countries that needed the 20% like India,Japan and others simply found other suppliers.
So even now you have to wonder just how important the straits really are.The invisible hand of capitalism may have sorted out the problem in record time.
What if supply and demand takes away a large part of the need for crude oil shipping through the straits of Hormuz as it may have done already?
Should be interesting to see if any of the legacy folks mention or completely ignore Mr Swalwell and his many “newly discovered” problems from his nanny to his Wang Wang accusations. Whatever the truth watching these vultures use their normally reserved for’R’ dirty tricks on each other is just so suhweet!
The Urth will be happy!
Also, the siege tactic.
Applying a centuries old mooselimb tactic against the mooselimbs, like!
The Barbary pirates, also known as Barbary corsairs, were privateers and pirates from North Africa who operated mainly from the coastal regions of Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli from the 16th to the 19th centuries. They were notorious for raiding European ships and coastal towns, capturing people to sell into slavery, with estimates suggesting they enslaved between 1 million and 1.25 million Europeans during their active years.
Cannot be true.
Surely the FBI and CIA fully vetted Swalwell for fitness to be on the itelligence committee.....
The FBI/CIA have been very busy the last 15 years framing....errr I mean frying other fish....so maybe a few things slipped through the cracks? And don’t call them Shirley....
Here's Fang, Fang with her guy before he forgot how to shave:
Good post and exactly why both need to be gutted or reinvented.
Note how all the “top” democrats are calling on him to drop out of the California Governor’s race but not Congress.
They need his percentage of votes to add to one of the remaining democrats in the race to ensure it’s not two Republican winners (top two go to runoff).
HOWEVER, the do need Swallowells vote in the House.
Anna Paulina Luna is right! Expel him!
I hope none of those Paki AKs are loaded...
Otranto, Italy is one such place. Located in the “bootheel” of Italy (Apulia), In 928, the city was sacked by a Fatimid fleet under Sabir al-Fata. Its inhabitants were carried to North Africa as slaves.
In 1480, Sultan Mehmed II sent an Ottoman fleet to invade Rome under the command of Gedik Ahmed Pasha. The force reached the shores of Apulia on 28 July 1480, and the city was captured in two weeks on 11 August 1480. All of the male inhabitants were slaughtered by the victorious Ottomans. Of the 22,000 inhabitants, only 10,000 were left alive. Some 800 citizens, known as the “Martyrs of Otranto”, were beheaded after they had refused to convert to Islam.
They made an altar of the beheaded skulls in the Chirch there:

This was not far from the base I was stationed at, San Vito dei Normanni Air Station, back in 1991-93. I would often go to Otranto for the wonderful seafood restaurants.
