Across the networks this Sunday, the butcher’s thumb shows up in how each show arranges its border-security voices, national-security contrasts, and Middle East analysts. Tom Homan’s double-booking is the clearest signal of the week: immigration is the dominant domestic-policy frame, and national security is the dominant foreign-policy frame.
FACE THE NATION (CBS)
CBS is running a “border security + Democratic oversight + global-security analysis” hour. Tom Homan anchors the immigration segment. Jim Himes gives CBS the Democratic intelligence-committee voice. Jerome Adams provides a domestic-health block that CBS often uses as a tonal pivot. McKenzie and Sadjadpour form a classic CBS foreign-policy panel — military command plus regional expertise.
What to watch:
Whether Brennan lets Homan drive the hour’s narrative or uses Himes to reframe the border debate through an intelligence-oversight lens.
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network)
Fox is running a “Senate contrast + defense posture + economic-security angle” hour. Cotton and Adam Smith give them a clean bipartisan national-security pairing. Captain Brent Sadler brings the maritime-logistics and Merchant Marine angle — a Fox specialty when global shipping or naval posture is in the news. Andy Barr adds the economic-policy dimension. The legal panel (Dupree, Turley) signals Fox will tie national security to constitutional and executive-power questions. The main panel is a standard Fox ideological spread.
What to watch:
How Bream positions Sadler — as a standalone maritime-security briefing or as connective tissue between Cotton and Barr.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC)
NBC is running a “Senate contrast + Democratic coalition + institutional analysis” hour. Lankford gives them the Republican border-policy voice. Booker provides the Democratic leadership lane. NBC’s panel (Elrod, Fagen, Mitchell, Pager) is its classic institutional mix — campaign strategists, political reporters, and establishment voices. This is NBC leaning into the “Washington consensus” framing rather than a crisis-specific one.
What to watch:
Whether Welker lets Lankford and Booker clash directly on border policy or keeps the hour centered on broader political positioning.
THIS WEEK (ABC)
ABC is running a “House leadership + Senate contrast + Middle East depth” hour. Scalise gives them the Republican leadership voice. Van Hollen provides the Democratic foreign-policy lane. Yassamin Ansari adds a younger-Democrat, climate-and-security-focused angle. The panel (Brazile, Christie, Caldwell) is ideologically mixed but strategist-heavy, meaning ABC will pivot quickly from policy to political implications.
What to watch:
Whether ABC treats the Middle East segment as a standalone foreign-policy block or folds it into a broader 2026-cycle narrative.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN)
CNN is running a “border security + Democratic framing + mixed-ideology panel” hour. Tom Homan appears again — a sign CNN wants the immigration debate front-and-center. Andy Kim provides the Democratic counter-narrative. The panel — Subramanyam, Jennings, Mace, Allison — is a blend of Democratic messaging, Republican dissent, and strategic analysis. Jennings and Mace are the only true GOP-aligned voices; the rest lean Democratic or institutional.
What to watch:
How Tapper/Bash positions Homan: as the anchor of the hour or as the foil for Kim and the panel’s Democratic messaging.
SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES (FNC)
Futures is running its signature “executive-branch messaging + Senate oversight + national-security posture” hour. NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman gives Bartiromo a technology-and-strategic-capabilities segment. Ron Johnson provides the Senate-oversight lane. Lisa McClain adds the House-oversight and appropriations angle. This is a classic Futures hour: executive messaging, congressional oversight, and national-security framing braided together.
What to watch:
Whether Isaacman’s segment is positioned as a standalone technology-capabilities briefing or tied to broader national-security themes.
Ecosystem Summary
This week’s lineups are built around border security, national security, and Middle East analysis. CBS leans diplomatic and analytical, Fox leans defense-plus-legal framing, NBC leans institutional, ABC leans strategist-heavy political framing, CNN leans Democratic-plus-border contrast, and Bartiromo leans executive messaging plus oversight.
And the shooting happened 2 days after the IL primary election, which around here meant a lot of ads from dem politicians promising to fight Trump and "all of the violence ICE is causing in the streets!" Now that would be awkward going from coverage of the latest alien shooting to those anti-ICE ads.
I went with the no kings stuff just to see who was behind it all. Here what I found and posted a bit earlier here. NO KINGS BS.
I often wondered who is behind all this.
Seems it's a bunch of smaller groups. Here's a good analysis of what is going on:
https://nationaltoday.com/us/mi/grand-rapids/news/2026/03/28/nationwide-no-kings-protests-linked-to-network-of-activist-groups/
Nationwide 'No Kings' Protests Linked to Network of Activist Groups
Investigation cites coordinated involvement of organizations with billions in combined revenue and messaging tied to socialist and revolutionary movements
Mar. 28, 2026 at 7:19pm
A nationwide protest movement branded 'No Kings' is being organized with support from a large network of activist groups, including organizations promoting socialist and communist ideologies, according to an investigation outlining the scale and structure behind the demonstrations. The findings state that approximately 500 groups with a combined estimated $3 billion in annual revenue are involved in coordinating protests taking place across the United States.
Why it Matters
The 'No Kings' protests represent a coordinated effort by a broad network of activist organizations to leverage mass demonstrations as a platform for advancing socialist and revolutionary political agendas. The scale and structure of this movement raise concerns about the potential for disruption and the risk of these protests being co-opted for ideological purposes beyond the stated goals.
The details
Permit documentation for a central march in St. Paul, Minnesota, identifies:
Indivisible, a national political advocacy organization, as the lead coordinator of the event.
The investigation also reported involvement from a broader network of organizations linked to activist financier Neville Roy Singham. Groups cited as participating include the People's Forum, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the ANSWER Coalition, CodePink, and the Freedom Road Socialist Organization. These organizations have coordinated protest activities and mobilization efforts across multiple cities. this is Indivisible the protest group behind the no kings and other groups supposedly this is the lead group:

Looks like more idiot college kids. Totally lost in a world they don't understand. So they protest, hate adults, and authority etc. 20 years from now they will forget they were even members.
I gotta work today,I’ll be on and off all day.
Here's a little more:
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/03/investigation-finds-no-kings-protests-backed-network-hundreds/
According to a copy of the permit for the “flagship” march in St. Paul, Minn., Indivisible, a national well-heeled Democratic political advocacy organization funded by billionaire George Soros, is the lead coordinator for the protest.
But Fox News Digital has also identified key participation by a network of radical socialist and communist organizations funded by Neville Roy Singham, an American tech tycoon and avowed communist living in China.
Over nearly a decade, Singham has financed a constellation of activist institutions that promote revolutionary socialist politics and frequently collaborate in protest campaigns, including the People's Forum in New York, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the ANSWER Coalition and CodePink, whose co-founder Jodie Evans is married to Singham. These groups work closely with the Freedom Road Socialist Organization. Here's singham who lives in China:

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Nobody is ever going to accuse President Trump of taking the easy path when it comes to solving the world’s issues. It was one thing to take on Iraq who had been at war with Iran for a decade but to take on the heart of Islamic terrorism is a whole other level. They are like Iraq’s big brother and America was stuck there fighting Iraq and Iran through proxy terrorists like Isis for a decade costing a trillion dollars and thousands of lives.
Trump has allowed the military to take them out from the air with America’s best ally Israel they have decimated the Iranian military to the point they are basically defenseless. He pulls this off and he will have out Houdinied Houdini.
He knows Iran is the key to lasting peace in the Middle East since they have two main products, oil and terror. America has been the target of their terror for fifty years or longer so he said their rope had come to an end. They obviously did not bet the message with the attack on their nuclear facilities so it was time to finish the job which is where he is now.
He gave some very good news today explaining the very big gift they had given him which was ten tankers full of oil. It was a bit unclear if they actually gave the oil to America or just allowed ten tankers though the strait, but it really sounded like they gave him a billion dollars’ worth of oil.
The point was to show him they were in charge of the production and distribution of their oil as well as the control of the strait. With the elimination of the ruling Ayatoilet and his military they had no idea who was actually in charge, which is why the tankers were a symbol of their control. He said they were anxious to make an agreement to end the war as well as moving forward with a stable Iran in the future.
It he can bring about a civilized Iran he would have performed one of the greatest miracles since WWII which looks very close Lord willing. He is obviously one of the great negotiators as well as risk takers who has ever occupied the White House.
He made a joke of how he may run for the President of Venezuela when he finishes which was very funny but in reality this was a miraculous undertaking. To turn it from a Communist dictatorship and home of some of the largest drug cartels into an ally of America is monumental. America has already made hundreds of millions from Venezuelan oil which is a drop in the bucket from what will come in the future.
He is putting together a partnership between Venezuela and America which will benefit both countries since they had basically stopped producing any quantities of oil. He said as much as the United States had earned they have made more in two weeks than they made all last year. This is obviously the model he will be using for Iran as he will be using their oil to pay for the war and stabilize their country.
If he pulls this victory together he will have made the most incredible victories ever. Of course you are dealing with a den of cobras, but if anyone knows about snakes it is DJT being bitten by Dims. He is admired throughout the ME which is why he has made such great progress to begin with from Gaza to the Abraham Accords with the Sauds and now a complete turnaround of Iran, beyond comprehension.
He has called a ceasefire for the next ten days and by the end of that there could be an actual lasting peace in a region which has not seen peace in fifty years. America needs to pray day and night this war ends with peace for the ME and Israel. God is using President Trump in ways only he can do.
Pray for Peace
That is awesome!
President Trump is managing a war that has been lied about since it's start by the driveby media. Everything that happens they lie about.
The demonstrations here in the US paid for by communists from all over especially China,Soros and 500 other small groups that put together three billion bucks continue to lie about what the US is doing in Iran and basically on a worldwide basis.
Managing Iran without knowing who is the leader is about as tough as it gets but if anyone is up to it it's our President.
The remnants of mullah fighters hide in schools, churches, hospitals and other places where we can't really bomb. Getting rid of them wont be easy nothing worthwhile ever is.
Thanks. I didn’t see it this morning. I was worried about you!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had a Biden moment last night.
Enjoy.....I m still recovering from worst head/chest cold in over a decade. Ironically, first time ill since I had Covid almost 4 years ago, couldn’t even muster the strength to comment last week. The No Brains events were a bust around here yesterday, local TV guys showed brief glimpses from air and ground but tacked immediately to Bawstun,Manadamiville and MinnyNoplace protests. I noticed most of the protests here were located on sidewalks and public easement areas next to shopping centers because nothing screams out dedication to your cause like...Free Parking. 🙄
Driving across Portland there was a single protester on an overpass which last time the overpasses were covered. More kings day was a bust in Portland.
Do you think a bombing should go a full month before you call it an endless war? But enough about Steve Bannon and Israel.
I don’t call it an endless war.Basically, I support what Trump calls for. We have the best fighting forces in the world and they respect honor and follow Pres. Trump. That’s enough for me.
