I do not remember that song. Not bad, though.

Great tune! They had another song on the album worth listening to, “I Got to Know.”

Not quite 60 yet (56) but remember this song because it was the first 45 I ever bought. First recorded music I ever bought. I went to the store to pick out a particular 45 (I think .79 cents) The 45 that I went to get (which I have no idea what it was now) was sold out. I just had to purchase a record though.

That is why I’m so fond of this song.

I am under 60 and have always enjoyed this song. Good music is timeless. In a store this week, I saw a child dancing to “Bang a Gong (Get it On).” The garbage that passes as pop music of the past 20 or so years can’t compete.

Great song and I don’t care what others have to say about it but the 1970s was the best decade for pop music.

I remember when the girls from Spokane came over and showed us how to do The Bump.

They showed us some dances, too.

Absolutely! And remember all the great black musicians of the 70's. Before the rap, hip hop and cop-killer genre came along.

The soul hits of the early to mid 1970s were phenomenal.

Didn't I Blow Your Mind
Kiss And Say Goodbye
Strawberry Letter 23

Just to name three classics off the top of my head. There were hundreds more. Then it all went to hell in a handbasket with rap that is mostly angry and negative.
