A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?" The dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your mother, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the working class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense." The little boy goes off to bed thinking about...

Today is December 13th and it’s Ted Nugent’s Birthday! The Nuge. Uncle Ted. Great Gonzo. The Motor City Madman. He goes by many names, but the one-and-only Ted Nugent is most well known as a conservative rock-and-roller who speaks his mind just as easily as he plays the guitar. He’s one of those “only in America” stories like many other right-wing rockers (Elvis Presley, Gene Simmons and Johnny Ramone are just some of the more obvious and awesome examples). For a full profile on political activist and gun advocate Ted Nugent, check out our full article on him and let...

When President Trump ended the 24-year-old World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute resolution court 'by refusing to name two replacement judges', the move has launched a new era of fair trade....... Within 24 hours, the U.S. Congress agreed to a new NAFTA trade deal and China cut a deal for a U.S. trade war truce..... with the Trump administration refusing to support the required “consensus” necessary to extend or appoint two new justices by Dec. 10, the Appellate Body under the WTO treaty is now 'unable to “hear” trade cases or issue 'unilaterally binding edicts'. Trump’s added trade clout after defanging...

The congresswoman has been listening closely to her constituents who she described as being "definitely engaged" on impeachment, both for and against. Slotkin needs more time and more context. Over the weekend she plans to look through all those hundreds of pages of reports related to the inquiry, as well as look back at the documents from the impeachment proceedings against Presidents Nixon and Clinton. Hemmer noted how the impeachment inquiry has "zero Republican support." Slotkin admitted she "doesn't like it" because "bipartisanship is something I really believe in." She said her work both as a CIA officer and a...

Is there a shortage of "Madonna and Child" postage stamps? If so, why?! Every year I send out about 80 Christams cards and a few Happy Hanukkah/Happy New Year cards. This year, when I went to my closest post office on Black Friday, they said they were out and were expecting more in early December (they still don't have them). Last week, I went to a busier post office on a main road (Camelback). None. Today, I tried a third post office, nada. Finally, I scored some 2016 edition at the Maryvale Parkway post office. I cannot think of ANYthing...

The ancient origins of the satanic rituals that "elites" use to blackmail and control politicians in much of the world. Schiff, Nadler, and Pelosi are evil people but they are not totally stupid. They would never voluntarily put themselves in line to look as vile and as stupid as they look now, they are just following orders. Those orders come from the bankers who actually control much of the world and who want Donald Trump gone before their entire stupid system implodes. DT is simply too smart, too likely to actually do something intelligent when that happens.

German bishops commit to 'newly assessing' Catholic doctrine on homosexuality and sexual morality The German bishops’ conference has committed to “newly assessing” the universal Church’s teaching on homosexuality, sexual morality in general, as well as the sacraments of ordination and marriage. The commitment comes at the beginning of a controversial two-year “Synodal Process” by the German hierarchy.Following consultations in Berlin last week, the chairman of the Marriage and Family Commission of the German bishops’ conference declared that the bishops agreed that homosexuality is a “normal form” of human sexual identity.“The sexual preference of man expresses itself in puberty and assumes...

Democrats removed or changed President Donald Trump’s words multiple times on Thursday, including changing the word “us” to “me.” The 'change to the transcript' of Trump’s July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was made as the House Judiciary Committee debated two articles of impeachment against Trump. During the debate, Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-Texas) changed “us” to “me” while making an analogy to try to assert that Trump committed a crime. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) removed a word from the transcript, quoting Trump as saying, “I would like you to do a favor though,” removing the word “us.”

Charles Pope The Sin That Comes From Being a Busybody - A Meditation on a Teaching of St. Gregory The term “busybody†usually refers to one who is intent on the matters of others but looks little to his own issues. Busybodies also tend to focus especially on the faults, foibles, and troubles of other folks. Seldom are they chattering away about good news related to other people; more often it is the scurrilous and scandalous that occupy their minds.Merriam-Webster online defines a busybody as “a person who is too...

President Donald Trump hands down won throwback Thursday with an epic snap he shared showing him on stage standing next to Ronald Reagan. What a bad week for Joy Behar and her hot takes. Wednesday on The View, the co-host rushed to judgement after two people entered a kosher market in Jersey City and began shooting Tuesday, killing three civilians and one police officer. Before the suspects were identified, Behar immediately pinned the blame on the right and “anti-Semitic” President Trump. While guest co-host Chris Christie was at the table, Behar asked the former governor of New Jersey to comment on the shooting. “Is it anti-Semitic? What happened?” she asked. As the suspects weren’t identified at that point, Christie noted the mayor of...

Democrat politicos, liberal commentators and the mainstream media all love to gush about the supposed political savvy of Hillary Clinton, but those of us in the cheap seats who marvel at her uncanny ability stick her foot in her mouth at every opportunity see things from a much more realistic perspective. She did it again this week, but first let’s look at some prior examples of Clinton’s “foot in mouth” tendencies in action. Over the last several months, she’s said a number of things that caused the irony meter to explode. For example, in April after the release of the...

Former first lady Michelle Obama criticized the United States while speaking abroad on Thursday, stating the country is “still not where we need to be” on the issue of racism and scoffed at the notion that former President Barack Obama’s election meant the end of bigotry. “We’re still not where we need to be in the United States of America when it comes to race. People thought electing Barack Obama would end racism. That’s 400 years of stuff that was going to be eliminated because of eight years of this kid from Hawaii? Are you kidding me?” Michelle Obama said...

Morning "Salt without prescribing how much." Ezra 7:22 Salt was used in every offering made by fire unto the Lord, and from its preserving and purifying properties it was the grateful emblem of divine grace in the soul. It is worthy of our attentive regard that, when Artaxerxes gave salt to Ezra the priest, he set no limit to the quantity, and we may be quite certain that when the King of kings distributes grace among his royal priesthood, the supply is not cut short by him. Often are we straitened in ourselves, but never in the Lord. He who...
