Last week, during a Euro 2020 qualifier England players were subjected to monkey chants and Nazi salutes by Bulgaria fans. Now, football federation president Gabriele Gravina has given details of "a passive radar device that uses directional microphones to determine the source of the noise". He said the advanced listening device can "immediately determine who is making a racist chant" and can distinguish a single voice.

Trying to fulfill his campaign promise of getting American soldiers out of illegal and undeclared wars, President Trump encounters opposition from Democrats and Republicans in Congress. This is a body which passed the NATO Support Act (H.R. 676) by a vote of 357 to 22 in January, but has now condemned President Trump for standing by NATO member Turkey. If Congress had done its job during the Obama Administration, all of this might have been avoided. Remember that in December 2016, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) introduced legislation in response to the Obama administration's longstanding pro-terrorist policy, in the form of...

Jim Doherty has had better football Sundays. When the 82-year-old Spring Green retiree and his wife settled in to watch the Green Bay Packers take on the Oakland Raiders last weekend, he tragically encountered a black screen. “We listened to it,” he said. “I’m sitting there thinking, five touchdowns and we can’t see them.” Doherty was a victim of a television technology upgrade, one that has proven to be frustrating for viewers who rely on antennas for their reception, and for the television station employees on whom they vent. And the ordeal has been painfully prolonged by foul weather. The...

A tantalizing detail from this NYT piece about establishment Dems wringing their hands over the primary. If you’re a Wall Street liberal, you’re in a bad place nowadays. After all, the Republican nominee is very much anti-liberal and two of the top three candidates on the Democratic side are very much anti-Wall Street. And even if those two can be pacified, it’s very much in doubt whether they can beat Trump head to head. Your only hope is smilin’ Joe Biden, who has yet to impress anyone on the trail or at the debates in six months of trying and...

California's governor has asked the attorney general to investigate why the state's gas prices are so high, pointing to a new report suggesting big oil companies are "misleading and overcharging customers" by as much as $1 per gallon. Name brand retailers - including 76, Chevron and Shell - often charge more because they say their gasoline is of higher quality. But a new analysis from the California Energy Commission could not explain the price difference, concluding "there is no apparent difference in the quality of gasoline at retail outlets in the state." The commission said California drivers paid an average...

Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Employees at a Kentucky zoo rounded up a quartet of emus that escaped from an Amish farm and went wandering near a busy highway. Mick McGill, animal management director at the Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo, said phone calls started coming in about 3 p.m. from drivers who spotted the emus wandering loose near the L&N Turnpike in Horse Cave. McGill said he and his head zookeeper, Harley White, did a quick check to make sure the emus didn't belong to the zoo, and soon determined the large birds had escaped from a nearby Amish farm....

Republicans have allegedly been barred from even viewing transcripts taken during impeachment hearings. This includes the transcripts of Executive Branch employees who, it has been reported, have provided largely exculpatory testimony. Testimony, that because of Pelosi’s rules, we’ll never see. Neither will House Republicans or President Trump’s attorneys. Schiff/Pelosi-led Democrats will craft the narrative and the limited ‘factual’ evidence that becomes public in a carefully managed scheme to shape public opinion. Does this sound familiar? It should: “The truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the state.” This...

Monday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin had enough with the recent liberal media puff pieces on Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, and said there is “nothing heroic” about Romney opposing President Donald Trump. “Mitt Romney is now working with the media and the Left and the NeverTrumpers to try and dislodge Trump. That’s what he’s doing; there’s nothing heroic about it, nothing heroic at all,” Levin said. “Because if Mitt Romney is successful, ultimately, one of those Democrats running for president will be the president of the United States, and our country will be changed forever.” “Mitt Romney is...

A few random thoughts on a grey morning after: ~According to the deranged dominion's useless and government-subsidized media, Canadians' priorities in this election were climate change and indigenous reconciliation, and the breakout star of the campaign was NDP leader Jagmeet Singh. Back in the real world, Mr Singh's party lost over a third of its seats, and twenty per cent of its vote, and is no longer the third biggest caucus in the House of Commons. And, whatever voters may tell pollsters about global climate concerns and indigenous reconciliation, the real consequences of the last four years are a resurgent...

Censure Schiff Dear Friends, Congress is entering yet another week of impeachment hysteria with a fresh slate of secondhand witnesses. My colleagues on the other side of the aisle have sidelined all real legislative work, and Democrats are continuing to force this unauthorized impeachment inquiry behind closed doors. Members of Congress take a solemn oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the Speaker of the House or the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee has sole power in an impeachment inquiry. That power belongs to the entire House, which is exactly why we...

Chicago: Muslim caused bomb scare in casino, demands Qur’an at his defense table OCT 22, 2019 5:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER “On Feb. 12, Muadinov made alarming statements, was detained, demanded police take him to their leader and said if he didn’t meet with President Donald Trump, ‘we would all meet Allah,’ according to the affidavit.” Will this be dismissed as mental illness, as in so many other cases? Certainly his devout commitment to Islam, and will to commit violence against unbelievers, are clear. But no one will take much notice, if any. “Aurora casino bomb scare suspect won’t act...

The Canadian zoologist who led the way in debunking the claim that climate change is endangering polar bears says the University of Victoria bowed to "outside pressure" and fired her. Susan Crockford, an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Victoria in Canada for 15 years, said her renewal application was rejected without explanation in May, despite her high profile as a speaker and author due to her polar bear research and expertise in mammal bone identification, the Washington Times reported. Her research showed polar bear populations are stable and even thriving, contrary to the claims of climate activists that...

The anonymous senior Trump administration official whose 2018 New York Times op-ed was called treasonous by President Donald Trump has written a new book about Trump titled "A Warning" that will be published next month, CNN has learned. CNN has exclusively obtained a cover of the book, which has been a closely guarded secret until now and will be released November 19 by Twelve, a division of the Hachette Book Group. The author will remain anonymous, and sources familiar with the book tell CNN that "elaborate precautions have been taken to protect the author's identity." The sources say that the...

In a new video response to Hillary Clinton's charge that she is being groomed by the Russians to be a third-party candidate, Democratic presidential contender Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) said she was warned in 2016 that Clinton and her allies would try to destroy her. Gabbard, an Iraq war veteran, added that if you "stand up against Hillary" and the "war machine," they will try to "destroy you." "[I]f they can falsely portray me as a traitor, then they can do it to anyone," said Rep. Gabbard in the video. "And in fact, that’s exactly the message that they want...

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders on Monday defended his fellow 2020 hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii against the claim that she is a “Russian asset,” saying the suggestion is “outrageous.” “Tulsi Gabbard has put her life on the line to defend this country,” the Vermont independent tweeted. “People can disagree on issues, but it is outrageous for anyone to suggest that Tulsi is a foreign asset.” Sanders does not name Hillary Clinton in the tweet, but his comments appear to be aimed at the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, whose claim last week on a podcast with former Obama...
