Trying to fulfill his campaign promise of getting American soldiers out of illegal and undeclared wars, President Trump encounters opposition from Democrats and Republicans in Congress. This is a body which passed the NATO Support Act (H.R. 676) by a vote of 357 to 22 in January, but has now condemned President Trump for standing by NATO member Turkey.
If Congress had done its job during the Obama Administration, all of this might have been avoided. Remember that in December 2016, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) introduced legislation in response to the Obama administration's longstanding pro-terrorist policy, in the form of legislation called the Stop Arming Terrorists bill. This is the same member of Congress now being attacked by Hillary Clinton, Obama's former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate. Hillary implies that Gabbard is a Russian agent for opposing the war in Syria.
Obama's support for terrorism did not get the kind of attention that the media, led by the Washington Post and the New York Times, lavished on anonymous but false charges from unnamed intelligence officials regarding Russia supposedly helping Trump during the 2016 campaign.
Looking back, perhaps we can safely conclude that Russia-gate was designed to divert the public's attention away from Obama's involvement – and the involvement of the CIA – in supporting terrorism in Syria.

I have had fun in the past comparing her favorably to many of her Dem colleagues, but I'll probably stop at this point and consider her just as poisonous as the others.

I fear it’s deeper and swampier that we could ever imagine... involving Democrats, Republicans, judges, lobbyists, media folks and people we would never suspect... and a theft of the people’s resources and freedom beyond measure! :( Are there any Good Guys in this Deep State Swamp? Is Trump the tragic hero who fights alone? Are all drunk on greed and power, even some who claim to be his allies?
We hear of AG Barr and others investigating this Deep State corruption. But... we have been teased over and over but have learned little from the “official investigators” with no indictments so far. So I must wonder... that maybe the strategy is to “investigate” forever... never to conclude. And when Trump leaves office be it 2021 or (hopefully) 2025, it ALL *POOF!* just goes away! Sorta like Jeffery Epstein’s clients and Hillary’s e-mails have. ! Prove me wrong Mr. Barr.
