The internet is having a great time responding to Alyssa Milano’s call for a “sex strike” until Georgia’s fetal heartbeat bill is overturned. But while it’s easy to mock her words, they deserve to be parsed carefully, since they articulate the pro-abortion philosophy of the left.Milano tweeted, “Our reproductive rights are being erased. Until women have legal control over our own bodies we just cannot risk pregnancy. JOIN ME by not having sex until we get bodily autonomy back. I’m calling for a #SexStrike. Pass it on.”What, exactly, does Milano mean by “reproductive rights”?If you were just learning the English...

President Trump took a swipe at his own FBI director overnight as he echoed allegations that Christopher Wray is protecting members of the bureau who, in the words of one critic, worked to “overthrow” him. The president, sending a signal about his apparently dimming view toward the sitting bureau boss, tweeted comments recently made by the head of conservative watchdog Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, on Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight.” “’The FBI has no leadership,'" Trump quoted Fitton as saying. "'The Director is protecting the same gang that tried to overthrow the President through an illegal coup.’ (Recommended by...

The reign of Empire on Fox is coming to an end next year. Just two weeks after the Charlie Collier-run Fox Entertainment renewed Lee Daniels and Danny Strong’s hip hop drama for a sixth season and showed controversy ladened Jussie Smollett towards the exit door, it was announced today on Fox’s Upfront call that the self described “groundbreaking cultural phenomenon” of Empire will be canceled once Season 6 s done. “We are turning the final season into a large TV event, we are trying to go out guns a blazing,” Collier proclaimed on the call of Empire‘s 20-episode last round...

Dubbed Ambopteryx longibrachium, the blue jay-sized theropod lived 163 million years ago during the Jurassic period. Its wings were made of a soft membrane attached to long arm bones which, when spread, resembled those of a bat. ..." The researchers first thought it was a bird when they saw it in the rock, but after they dug it out, it became clear that Ambopteryx was a dinosaur. The researchers aren’t sure exactly how the dinosaur, which also had feathers, looked as it took flight. It couldn’t flap its wings, so it’s believed the creatures would simply glide. According to the...

One of the Democrats running for president is a youthful former Rhodes Scholar who speaks more than one language and cut his teeth as a two-term mayor. The other is Pete Buttigieg. Buttigieg’s sparkling resume has been the subject of countless profiles, powering the South Bend mayor to the top tier of the 2020 field. Sen. Cory Booker, however, hasn’t received nearly as much attention and remains mired in the middle of the pack in recent polls.

“‘And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words’” (Matthew 6:7). If we’re honest, all of us have been guilty of repetitive prayers—before meals, at prayer meetings, before bed—with little or no thought to what we are saying or how God feels when He hears us do that. But such prayers are offensive to God and should be to us as well. We should understand, however, that Jesus here is not forbidding the repetition of genuine requests. In His parable of the midnight...

A former Secret Service agent assigned to the Vice President Joe Biden residence claims that the Service often had to protect female agents from him. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the agent asserted that, “We had to cancel the VP Christmas get together at the Vice President’s house because Biden would grope all of our wives and girlfriend’s asses.” The annual party was for agents and Navy personnel who were tasked with protecting the Biden family. “He would mess with every single woman or teen. It was horrible,” the agent said. According to the source, a Secret Service agent...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem (Old Testament) 2 Samuel 21 The Gibeonites Avenged 21 During the reign of David, there was a famine for three successive years; so David sought the face of the Lord. The Lord said, “It is on account of Saul and his blood-stained house; it is because he put the Gibeonites to death.” 2 The king summoned the Gibeonites and spoke to them. (Now the Gibeonites were not a part of Israel but were survivors of the Amorites; the Israelites had sworn to spare them, but Saul in his zeal for Israel and Judah had tried...

Political correctness has escalated out of control. It used to be you were criticized if you said something that the left didn’t agree with. That was political debate. Now, the left will come after you with a vengeance and destroy your career, your life and often your presence on social media. The number of regular conservatives being censored on social media is growing; almost every day there is another report of one being banned or suspended from one of the major platforms. Many of them lose their jobs. The only way to survive this type of witch hunt is to...

Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham is continuing his effort to help Attorney General William Barr prepare cases against the deep state co-conspirators who tried to depose POTUS Donald Trump via “Spygate.” On Sunday, the South Carolina Republican announced he was working to declassify a bombshell document that he said proves beyond any doubt that fired FBI Director James Comey and his Obama/Hillary sycophants within the bureau and Justice Department knew full well the infamous “Steele Dossier” used to justify Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court warrants to spy on Trump Team members was bogus. Meaning, of course, that by...

If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking. – General George S. Patton What is this week’s sound bite reverberating through the great Democratic/Media echo machine? The patented Dem/MSM echo machine, cutting through the silence with the mellifluous sound of a chain saw “Constitutional Crisis.” I would agree with if they allowed as how this “constitutional crisis” was due to their antics, not those of PDJT. One could certainly make the case that Democrats refusing to enforce any of the nation’s immigration laws, unlawfully spying on a political foe (raise your hand if you’re old enough to remember...

Elizabeth Warren wants to offer down-payment assistance to home buyers in formerly “redlined” neighborhoods where the federal government once denied access to mortgages. Cory Booker would like to create “baby bonds” that would be worth more to children in poorer families, helping them one day to buy houses or other assets. Both presidential candidates say their proposals would aid in narrowing the enduring black-white wealth gap in America. But neither policy attempts to do that in the most direct way possible — by steering benefits to African-Americans. Their ideas, along with several others that scholars advocate, are facing a tricky...

Joe Biden, who is currently leading in the polls against the horde of other Democratic presidential hopefuls, believes he can win back the working-class voters who defected to Donald Trump last election and thereby win the presidency. So Biden is trying to convince these voters that Trump was making a lot of empty promises. “The stock market is roaring. But you don’t feel it,” he said at a rally. “There are — $2 trillion tax cut last year. Did you feel it? Did you get anything from it? Of course not. Of course not.” Actually, they did get something out...

President Trump trolled the Internet once again with another nickname for one of his many prospective Democratic contenders. When Politico reporters asked Trump about Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Trump didn’t sound like he was on edge, but resorted to his common, edgy yet simple humor: “Alfred E. Neuman cannot become president of the United States.â€The new nickname went viral. When asked about the moniker, Buttigieg admitted ignorance about MAD Magazine and its iconic gap-toothed representative. Just as the media got it wrong that Buttigieg is a Millennial (he’s 37, therefore on the edge, but still falling into the Generation X camp), there...

There still exists a physical media in the sense of airing current events. But it is not journalism as we once understood the disinterested reporting of the news. Journalism is now dead. The media lives on. Reporters today believe that their coverage serves higher agendas of social justice, identity politics, “equality” and diversity. To the degree a news account is expanded or ignored, praised or blasted, depends on its supposed utility to the effort to fundamentally transform the country into something unlike its founding.
