I'm not an Al Franken fan, and disagree with him on most issues, but here is interesting video of him drawing a map of all 50 states during an appearance at the Minnesota State Fair. It looks like he did it freehand with no outline behind the paper. NOTE: If he had checked with President Obama, he could have drawn all 57 states (see video below of Obama's 57 states remark). [caption id="attachment_6816" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Evidence that Van Jones is "9/11 Truther" dates back to 2002"][/caption] In a segment last night called "All the President's Radicals," FOX News host Sean Hannity asked: Should Obama "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones be fired after revelations that he was part of the twisted "9/11 Truther" movement, which holds President George W. Bush responsible for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. "He is not fit for office," Hannity declared. "The only thing that is clear is that Jones must be fired."

lot of folks have tried to hyper analyze the influences on President Obama. One influence that largely goes unnoticed outside of the city of Chicago is the influence of Mayor Richard Daley. President Obama made his initial political base in the Hyde Park area of Chicago. No one gets any political power in the city of Chicago without the seal of approval of the mayor himself. Yet, the link between the two is often overlooked. Only John Kass of the Chicago Tribune has done a very good job of making the link.

According to her bio, it would seem that Jarrett has been groomed for this moment--serving as the top adviser to a President who so obviously espouses an agenda that is hostile to caucasians, the elderly who are chronically ill, free markets, and the U.S. Constitution. But in order to get the full impact of the presence of Jarrett on the Obama team, one must take a close look at her team. Jarrett has surrounded herself with some rather unsavory characters who appear to be more like 'enforcers' than 'advisers.'

EDMONTON — A University of Alberta researcher was surrounded by wolves, had to cancel her research season and be evacuated from the high Arctic earlier this summer after a pilot with an ecotourism agency left cardboard boxes of bacon and sausage on the tundra near their camp. The wolves ripped open the boxes of meat and gorged themselves. Catherine La Farge, who studies the colonies of moss exposed by retreating glaciers, was not attacked during the incident on Ellesmere Island, but she and her field assistant spent three hours cleaning up food and debris strewn across the landscape. Then they...

LONDON (AFP) – The G20 vowed Saturday to maintain emergency measures to fight the world economic crisis, warning it was not over yet, while tensions between Europe and the United States remained over bankers' bonuses. After a meeting in London preparing for a leaders' summit later this month, finance ministers said they agreed fresh measures to keep the world economy on the right track, a year after it teetered on the brink of collapse. But they warned there was no room for complacency. "We remain cautious about the outlook for growth and jobs," the ministers said in a communique. "We...

My niece, my sister (fellow Freeper) and I are headed to the March on DC. I still can't believe it. Never done anything like this...especially if it cost me money! But I sat there the other night and realized: We have to go. After complaining about the government for 20 years, this time I have to do something about it. So we've bought our plane tickets, booked our hotel. (Marriott at Crystal City/Reagan) Many of our friends are as angry as we are, but are unable to join us. So they've been enthusiastically passing the hat to support us and...

The new Democrat strategy for town meetings was on display in Troy, Michigan Tuesday night, as Democrat freshman representative Gary Peters did his best to squelch all spontaneity from the event—with organized pro-government health care types getting preferred treatment, and questions from the audience screened and prepared for. Union members and other Democrat operatives with professionally printed signs lined up at 3:30 for the 7:00 event, while protesters came much later, most likely taking care of real lives, like jobs and families, first. Naturally, those who came first, got into the event first. However, after the doors were closed, as...

In a bulletin just handed me, the Associated Press is reporting that Gov. Palin’s resignation may have cost the State of Alaska all of $40,000.00. That’s right, I said: “thousand." Not million, not billion, but “thousand.” After a year of dumpster diving, record checking, internet surfing, gossip mongering, and listening at keyholes, crackerjack AP reporter, Rachel D'Oro, has finally uncovered a truth the Palin camp doesn’t want you to know.

Arianna Huffington’s liberal gossip site the Huffington Post has been vigorously defending green jobs czar and 9/11 “truther” Van Jones. It turns out that Jones was Huffington’s grassroots political director when she ran for governor in the 2003 recall election. In fact, Jones, a self-described “communist,” thought Huffington was so wonderful he was part of the effort to draft her to run for office.

In our "Top Dogs By City" story, readers sang the praises of their favorite breeds: "Our pitbull is amazing; I'll never own another breed," said Tiff. "Why isn't bassett hound on the list? You can't get a more lovable family dog than that!" argued Solomeeo. Cats, on the other hand, don't get the same respect. Instead of being called out as loyal, lovable or clever, kitties are most often described as aloof and independent. But don't dismiss pedigree! Just as in dogs, breed can help determine a cat's personality. American shorthairs, for example, are affectionate; sphynxes are known mischief makers....
