Sen. Al Franken Draws 50 States at Minnesota State Fair - Video 9/4/09

I'm not an Al Franken fan, and disagree with him on most issues, but here is interesting video of him drawing a map of all 50 states during an appearance at the Minnesota State Fair. It looks like he did it freehand with no outline behind the paper.

NOTE: If he had checked with President Obama, he could have drawn all 57 states (see video below of Obama's 57 states remark).

I remember him mentioning this ability during his election campaign as one of his qualifications for being a US Senator.

Franken went to school when they were far better than they are today. I doubt I could match Franken but suspect I would do better than most.

Al has had a lot of free time over the past 5 or 10 years to practice this.

At least now we know how he spent his time waiting for callers to his radio show.

I think he traced it.

Florida seemed slightly chubby and skewed a little bit to the right. It may have just been a very good freehand.

It’s sad that being able to draw a picture of your own country is considered a rare ability.

Franken’s whole map is bloated and stubby.
It’s definitely not traced.

And yet he's unable to quote a single paragraph from the entire Constitution. Perhaps that has less to do with his memory, and more to do with fearing his tongue will turn to flame if he utters Yang worship words...

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

There could easily have been a drawing on another piece of paper under the top piece that only he was close enough to see. Maybe he drew it free hand but he is such scum and a vote fraud cheat i choose not to believe he really drew it free hand.
