“Bali bombers to be executed”

Noted your earlier post re IMMEDIATE execution of terrorists, and thought that in the current legalistic atmosphere, letting these characters hang around for six years is about the best we’re going to get.
I suppose Amnesty International or some other bunch of liberal twits will go into a mass swoon to postpone justice yet again, though.
Makes me think that the vigilantes around my area a hundred years ago had the right idea. Hang the bas****s as soon as the court announces the verdict to do so.
Doesn’t today end the mourning period for Mugniyah?
Yes RR it does.
Thanks, Joe.
So this frees them to wreak havoc.
...or maybe just get ready to attend a few more funerals after the perps try at it and just get into the field of fire.

Three Afghani Muslim men caught posing as Mexican nationals last month while en route to Europe were part of a human smuggling operation and carried what are now believed to be altered but genuine Mexican passports for which they paid $10,000 each, Indian investigators told The San Antonio Express-News.
An ongoing transcontinental investigation, which now involves Mexican and Indian authorities, began Feb. 11 when a suspicious airport customs official in Kuwait noticed the three Afghanis, traveling under Mexican pseudonyms, could not speak Spanish during a layover on their air trip from New Delhi, India to France.
The three Afghani travelers were detained and deported to India, where they remain in custody while Mexican and Indian authorities try to learn about their backgrounds, where they were going and who sold the apparently real government-issue passports. A U.S. source confirmed the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigators also are looking into the matter.

Suspicious device found at rail yard (Utah)
March 24th, 2008
The Union Pacific Railroad says it's investigating an incident on board a railcar that prompted a call out to the bomb squad. It started when workers near 1700 N. Warm Springs Road noticed two males on an empty flatbed railcar.
Detective Jared Wihongi, spokesman for the Salt Lake Police Department said, "One of the individuals had a camera around his neck, and after he saw the railroad worker, both suspects fled in a red vehicle parked on Warm Springs Road." Wihongi says the workers then noticed something left behind. He said, "It appeared to be a battery with wires on it."
The bomb squad was called out. They rendered the device safe. Wihongi says it turned out there were no explosive materials, but police still don't know what the pair were doing there. The Union Pacific won't comment except to say the Friday incident is under investigation.

Rabbi Alleges Attack: Men Chanted ‘Allah Akhbar
Victim: Stolen Yarmulke Prompts Altercation That Leads To Brutal Beating Inside NYC Subway Station
BROOKLYN (CBS); A Brooklyn rabbi is speaking out after a scary encounter with a man accused of snatching his yarmulke off his head.
Rabbi Uria Ohana’s crash course on street justice — and the justice — system continues.
“I got a call from the district attorney,” Ohana said. “I’m going to testify in front of the grand jury.”
The case is against 18-year old Ali Hussein, accused of snatching Ohana’s yarmulke last week inside a park slope subway station. It was an offense Ohana says he couldn’t let pass.
“I decided to chase him to get my yarmulke back,” Ohana said.
Prosecutors haven’t classified the incident as a bias crime yet, but a Brooklyn resident who spoke to CBS 2 HD says he’s not encouraged by what happened.

Coalition forces kill 17 terrorists including six likely suicide bombers, detain 30 suspects
BAGHDAD Coalition forces killed 17 terrorists and detained 30 suspected terrorists during operations targeting al-Qaeda in Iraq in central and northern parts of the country Saturday and today.
Coalition forces conducted an operation Saturday near the Hamrin Mountains, targeting weapons facilitators and associates of AQI leadership. Intelligence reports led the assault force to the targeted suspects location, where five individuals failed to comply with Coalition forces instructions or heed warnings. Perceiving hostile intent, Coalition forces engaged the armed men with small arms fire, killing them. Secondary explosions from a vehicle following the initial engagement indicated explosives or weapons were inside.
Coalition forces killed 12 terrorists today during an operation east of Baqouba, targeting members of a suicide bombing network. The ground force was attacked with small arms fire as they approached the target building. Responding to the hostile threat, Coalition forces engaged five armed men, killing them. The ground force ordered the occupants to come out of the building. Some complied, but others remained inside. Coalition forces entered the building and were fired upon by several armed men. Seven more terrorists were killed in the engagement, and Coalition forces detained five suspects on the scene. Assault weapons, ammunition, grenades and military-style assault vests discovered on site were safely destroyed. Six of the terrorists killed had shaved their bodies, which is consistent with final preparation for suicide operations.
Coalition forces continued to target the terrorist bombing network in southwest Baghdad this morning, capturing a suspected bombing facilitator, who allegedly specializes in the distribution of homemade explosives. After he identified himself as the targeted suspect, the man led Coalition forces to four other wanted individuals, who were also detained.
In Mosul today, Coalition forces conducted a precision operation in which they captured an alleged terrorist leader suspected of carrying out attacks against Iraqi and Coalition forces. In a nearby operation, the ground force detained three suspected terrorists while targeting associates of AQI senior leaders.
Coalition forces captured an alleged associate of AQI senior leaders and three other suspected terrorists this morning in Tikrit. On two occasions during the operation, vehicles sped toward the security perimeter. After using visual signals, Coalition forces fired a warning shot. In one incident, the vehicle turned around and left; the other vehicle stopped, and the driver ran away. There were no injuries reported in either incident.
Two coordinated operations today in the Tigris River Valley targeted AQIs propaganda network. Northwest of Tikrit, Coalition forces detained six suspected terrorists, and west of Samarra, six additional suspects were detained.
Though Iraqi and Coalition forces have captured and killed a substantial number of terrorists in operations like these, al-Qaeda in Iraq is still lethal, and a tough fight remains ahead, said Maj. Winfield Danielson, MNF-I spokesman. We are committed to this fight and to improving public safety and security for all Iraqis.

“Fake Passport Scheme Suspected (Punjabi Members Duped)”
JSOnline ^ | March 23, 2008 | Georgia Pabst
Posted on 03/24/2008 6:12:20 PM PDT by Diana in Wisconsin
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “A Milwaukee businessman has complained to the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., about what he claims is a passport-selling scheme involving individuals at the Indian consulate in Chicago.
Amrit N. Patel, who owns a local accounting firm and is president of the India Cultural Society, outlined the suspected scheme in a letter to Indian Ambassador Ronen Sen last March.
Milwaukee has a large Punjabi community, many members of which have come here with political asylum, which does not make them eligible for an Indian passport, he said in the letter.
But over the last two years, Patel said, the Chicago consulate has issued Indian passports to them through a mediator in New York, whom he identified as Rajubhaiya or Raju.
Patel listed the names of six people who, he said, had paid from $3,000 to $3,500 to get a passport. He also included copies of permanent resident cards, immigration forms and approved asylum applications.
He described the suspected scheme this way:”
