Church Newsletters From All Over
From "Light the Lamp!": The monthly newsletter of the Holy Flame Pentecostal Church of Little Rock, Ark.
We welcome back to the area Senator Hillary Clinton (D., N.Y.), who has been spending so much time here in Little Rock lately that she's practically joined the church choir! "I'm here spending time at my husband's library," she told the Lamp when we caught up with her after a Sunday camp meeting, "and of course, I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints. As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative, if you want to know the truth, so it's nice to be 'home' again in the South, which I really consider my quote-unquote home even though I live in New York most of the time. Well, Washington, D.C., most of the time, actually, but if I'm not there I'm in New York, of course, but always thinking about being here, in the South, my spiritual home, where I shared so many wonderful evangelical . . . moments and . . . events. Can you read that back to me?"
The "Light the Lamp!" staff would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that Christ loves all of us equally, and that God's house is open to all, even to senators from New York, so whoever is muttering stuff and saying mean things while pretending to cough can just quit it right now.

I was listening to HANNITY yesterday about this and from what I heard he said he got in contact w/ the NR author and
THIS IS A JOKE. If anyone else heard Hannity say that yesterday please confirm.

It is definitely true that the Democrats will either move towards the centre or die. If they listen to the likes of Michael Moore or Howard Dean, they're lost. It may take a few more drubbings at the polls for them to absorb the lesson.
Regards, Ivan

Not a joke, but a great work of sarcastic political humor. Remember, all humor, to be effective, has a basis in truth.
Watch Hillary attempt to pull a Houdini over the next political season. It will be up to us to make sure she doesn't succeed to the point that she will fool the majority. It won't be easy, although it will sound so here on FR. Remember we will be dealing with the body politic of the publicly educated America.

"I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints."
interpretation:
Sometimes, when I have nothing better to do, I believe in the Gospel, As long as it does not compromise my political career.

Years ago William Safire wrote a column about both Clintons being "congenital liars".
Nothing has changed since then !

She's already eaten turkey with the troops in Afghanistan. Last spring she took speech lessons...notice she no longer says, 'you know' and 'uh' every three seconds. Next she'll be going to church with a big Bible under her arm. Hill will do whatever it takes for a shot at the presidency.

The fact that it could happen makes Hillary the joke!
I wait for her revivals down by the river and baptisms in the Hudson River; "passing the plate" for her fundraisers.

Sure its a great joke, and almost believable. Really funny stuff.
But it is still important that people do not go away under the impression that it actually did happen.
The fact that one could envision Hillary saying this (and the fact that many people are willing to believe ANYTHING about Hillary) makes it that much more likely that people will take it seriously.

LOL LOL LOL LMAO!!!!! Although it is a joke, it will not surprise me if the liberal icon Hillary actually metamorphoses into a Conservative to appeal to a red state.
To: counterpunch
Hannity discussed it on the radio yesterday, said he thought it was a joke, then confirmed that National Review contacted him to confirm that it was only a joke. Everything about the Clintons is a joke.
