KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Six Ukrainian deputy defense ministers were fired Monday following the dismissal two weeks ago of Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov in a corruption scandal, officials said, as heavy fighting continued in the east. Deputy defense ministers including Hanna Maliar, Vitalii Deyneha and Denys Sharapov, as well as the state secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Kostiantyn Vashchenko, were fired, according to the Telegram account of Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers. Melnychuk provided no explanation of the firings, but the government has been investigating accusations of corruption in the military related to purchasing equipment....

Donald Trump transferred the ownership of his Mar-a-Lago resort to his son just days before the ex-president was arrested in Georgia, RadarOnline.com can report. According to online property records, the former president “sold” his Palm Beach, Florida property for $422,000,000 on August 4. However, a deeper investigation into the Mar-a-Lago sale found that the 1100 S Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach property was sold to a company called Mar-a-Lago, Inc. The Express reported that the owner of Mar-a-Lago, Inc. – and its registered agent – is none other than 45-year-old Donald Trump Jr. Zillow – the online real estate marketplace that...

Below is my column in the New York Post, which turned out to be the theme for the cover. The Durham Report highlighted two scandals. First, there was a comprehensive effort of the political and media establishments to perpetrate one of the great hoaxes in history — a political hit job that ultimately derailed an American presidency. Second, there was no real accountability for that effort for the main players from Clinton to Comey to Congress. It was much like The Murder on the Orient Express. The question is not “whodunit” but who didn’t. Spoiler alert: they all did it...

On March 9th Matt Taibbi testified before the House Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. At the same time, he was testifying before the committee the IRS paid a visit to his house–an almost unheard-of tactic used by the agency. Usually, they use the mail. The weaponization of Government? Not a thing, we are told. And if you disagree the IRS will remind you of that fact, forcefully and in person.John did a write-up yesterday that lays out the facts, although I admit to being more cynical than he. I need to get a few beers or bourbons in...

In the wake of the train derailment that caused a huge environmental disaster in East Palestine, Ohio, Michael Barasch, a top lawyer for issues related to the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, is warning the public not to trust the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA is insisting that the air is safe. Barasch led the charge to inform hundreds of thousands of people that they were entitled to compensation for the health problems they’d experienced as a result of breathing in poisonous dust from the World Trade Center after the attacks. He says he still has clients who are...

At the end of last year’s roundup, I expressed hope that 2022 would see fewer Biden disasters. Unfortunately for the country, year No. 2 was just as grim. The first year of Joe Biden’s presidency prolifically delivered examples of corruption and incompetence, and his second year in office — which drew to a close on Thursday — has been no different.Last year, The Federalist collected “A Scandal For Every Month: The Biggest Botches, Failures, And Mess-Ups Of Joe Biden’s First 12 Months In Office.” At the end of that piece, I expressed hope that 2022 would see fewer disasters flow from...

The new year is upon us and with it a fresh start for more corruption. But 2023 also offers the opportunity to bring closure to some long-running scandals. Here are 10 to track in the upcoming year.1. Government’s Puppeteering of Big Tech and MediaThe ongoing release of the “Twitter Files” closed 2022 with a new scandal, as the internal communications of the tech giant exposed extensive coordination between the government and Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other big players controlling the flow of information. While conservatives have known — and complained — for years of Big Tech’s censorship and shadowbanning, by...

Outgoing GOP Rep. Madison Cawthorn claimed American men are being 'taught' to be 'soft metrosexuals' during one of his final appearances in Congress after being forced out by his fellow Republicans earlier this year. The 27-year-old freshman congressman from North Carolina lost his primary over the summer to state senator Charles Edwards, who was backed by members of Cawthorn's own state Congressional delegation.... ...'It used to be a rite of passage in this country for young men to be punched in the face when they did something stupid,' the minute-long address began. He claimed US society no longer believed in...

In an email exchange with The Arizona Sun Times this week, a Maricopa County Recorder’s office spokesperson may have unwittingly admitted that the county mishandled thousands of ballots from the 2020 general election that one watchdog groups says were accepted after the legal deadline. Megan Gilbertson, the communications director for the Maricopa County Elections Department (MCED) – a department of the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office – said that the department processed ballots by scanning them into the tabulating machines at MCED before transferring their custody the next day to Runbeck Election Services, which verifies their legitimacy with signature verification. She...

Thursday evening's disgraceful spectacle concocted by congressional Democrats and the media will go down in history -- but not in the way they intended. Thursday evening's disgraceful spectacle concocted by congressional Democrats and the media will go down in history -- but not in the way they intended. Far from shocking Americans with “new” testimony from a visibly terrified Ivanka Trump or a know-nothing Capitol police officer who described the Jan. 6 confrontations as “a war scene,” which it most certainly was not, Thursday's spectacle only reinforced the national divide between Trump supporters and the Democrats and the media elites....

Over the last 2 months I've probably put in 3 weeks of work to write and research three FR vanities that look at the fraudulent side of Georgia politics that Governor Brian Kemp has enabled. Many thanks to qaz123 for helping to put this program together -- and for pointing me in the direction of the Rivan and Hollywood frauds which I was not even aware of 2 months ago. The vanities summarize the major reasons, and I believe they are an easy read with some images that educate and get people to read. I guess 85% of Georgia Republicans...

A scandal is brewing in Georgia's Republican gubernatorial primary, with candidate and former Sen. David Perdue accusing incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp of engaging in shady backroom deals and lining the pockets of liberal megadonor George Soros as part of a massive new economic development project in the Peach State.

Well-known Hollywood Dr. Mehmet Oz, who is running for a Pennsylvania Senate seat, has come under fire in a number of Republican and conservative circles for his seemingly long and documented history with communist China, even though he’s running a “tough-on-China” campaign.According to Breitbart, Dr. Oz has ironically launched attacks on his GOP challenger, David McCormick, for his alleged China ties, while at the same time the doctor’s opponents dig up a growing history he allegedly has with China. As with any backstory of a potential political scandal, it’s all about the money.Breibart noted: “The celebrity doctor’s most recent connection to...

The FBI raided a luxury apartment building in Washington, D.C. yesterday and arrested two men — Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Ali, 36, for a concerning plot. The men had been pretending to be federal agents — members of a Homeland Security task force — since February 2020. They claimed that they were part of a unit investigating the Jan. 6 riot in addition to other actions.

I got an email this week from a former bow-tied bum kisser at the Globe about a book he’s writing on Fat Boy — the late Sen. Ted Kennedy. “My editors have asked me, in this Me Too era, to make sure that I have done a thorough search for incidents in which Sen. Kennedy’s behavior caused injury or harm to women.” Wow. Talk about an open-ended order. The hagiographer, er biographer, mentioned that the usual incidents — Chappaquiddick, Palm Beach, La Brasserie — will “of course” rate chapters in his tome. Of course they will. “I am writing to...

The horserace for the honor of this week’s top knucklehead came down to two clowns who were hellbent on outdoing one another. We had the incomparable Whoopi Goldberg putting her utter witlessness regarding issues of race on full display, which earned her a suspension from ABC/Disney; something which is extraordinarily difficult to accomplish for a hardcore leftist like Whoopi. In the end, however, we just couldn’t ignore the absolute stupidity of the venerable Brian Stelter of CNN, who completely trashed whatever credibility the all-but-dead network had left. Winner: Brian Stelter questions why Americans would trust the word of Joe Rogan...

The December 2010 murder of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry exposed the bungled “Fast and Furious” investigation, in which agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives allowed criminals to buy guns with the intention of tracking the weapons. But the agency lost most of the guns, including two that were found at the scene of Terry’s death in southern Arizona. The U.S. government has heavily pursued prosecution of the men involved in the killing. Mexico says Mexican drug gangs and former officials also participated in or failed to stop the weapons trafficking. Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office...

With the conclusion of the first year of the Biden administration, White House chief of staff Ron Klain sought to end on a high, or at least higher, note by retweeting a column saying that 2021 was not "all bad." It was like bragging that a bad first date told you that the evening could have been worse. However, what really stood out in the column by Albert Hunt was the key rationale: the first year was "scandal free." ... ...Consider just three of the Voldemort scandals of 2020, or those scandals which must not be named by the media:
