Boston Coolers(Ice Cream/Vernors)! Why they are called that, I don't know since they Vernors originated in Detroit.

My uncle once ordered a case of vernors shipped to him when he was living in Texas since he missed them.

OMG -- Ice Cream (vanilla) & Vernors! Had forgotten about that.

My favorite Mary Robinson barf phrase is "I am of Ireland, come dance with me"! With those cringe words Mary ended her inaugural address.

I had a similar barf experience last night on the BBC - a debate on some new Florida law the allows a person to defend themselves without having to retreat. The BBC comententator was totally incredulous at a republican guest and spent the whole interview aghast and horrified at the idea that she was talking to someone who was defending the right to carry concealed weapons for defense in the US. She told him that she had just finished reading the book 'Roots' and that America was built on the blood of innocents. It's always the same when there is any debate about the US.

It never ceases to amaze whenever I hear some writer for The Economist, or reporter from the "Beeb", express befuddlement at our Bill of Rights.

For some reason, the fact that someone's right to defend their person and possessions is enshrined in our Constitution is somehow highly offensive to elite English sensibilities.

I must have overlooked that part of the Magna Carta that explicitly states that England is obligated to have the highest property crime rate of the civilized, Western world.

Will seek out the Sizzler across the street from an LA college with a pretty good football team.

I have to eat more cereal as snacks.
I don't LOOK overweight, but lost around 20 pounds the last 2 months and will do more.
