Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

That’s why the fact that Obama has had a passport for many years has some relevance. His acquisition of a passport was a prior vetting process that vouches for his citizenship.

Frankly, I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised to find that there are illegal alien holders of elected offices in California.
Senator is a pretty high bar, though.
I don’t have as much confidence in the vetting process, especially the one in effect 20+ years ago, as you do.
Especially since I actually have read the State Department’s requirements. You don’t even need a birth certificate to get a passport.

You weren’t the only one with that concern, in which I agree with anyway. I also just preordered Jerome Corsi’s book which also features ExPatGuy’s story that he did investigative work on for his blog.
We will have Corsi’s coverage, Andy Martin’s coverage and ExPat’s investigative work to compare.
If I was WOSG, I’d be pointing out that the versions posted in mid-June are the same as the ones there now. I don’t trust KOS but I trust factcheck.org to have the same image. If you can see that seal impressions now (you can) then they were on the original images. The mistake people made was going with the low-res ‘fightthesmears’ version and not finding it and turning that into an ‘aha’ moment. No go. The seal impresions were on the high-res image from the get-go.
Admission by MSM and Obama campaign that the COLB image is fake, yes, a la Rathergate. A scandal on Obama of that magnitude is worth a steak dinner.

KJCI, Would you mind doing me (actually all of us) a favor? Would you call the Hawaiian Vital Records and ask them why your birth certificate says filed, while others say accepted? I am really curious to know why the wording is different on some.
The reason why I am asking you, specifically, is in case they ask for your certificate number, etc. to look up any necessary info to give you a definitive answer on the difference.

Yes, on both counts! The new Inter-Island terminal, built for three airlines which have now bankrupted down to one scheduled, followed. The remains of the old terminal (after years of termite infestation) were used for the tiny inter-island carriers for several years, but then these were moved to the buildings east of the main terminal where they displaced fixed base operators who no longer had sufficient student pilot populations to stay in business.
One of the carriers was to Molokai, the lightly populated island next to the southeast of Oahu, where the leper colony is and where we located the KAIM AM transmitter. One, now defunct, carrier had an ancient DC-3 with small engines so that it really did not meet the FAA requirements for being able to maintain altitude on one engine. The baggage boy would pull the chocks after engine startup, climb on board, put on his steward's cap, and tell the pilot to slow down to about 95 mph so he could sell some cheap drinks. We shared the cabin with fighting cocks, illegal, but very active on Molokai, and their trainers.
You're probably right about that. However, just to be devil's advocate for a minute, what if the document is a forgery? Would Hawaii be able to look up their records and see if there is a certification on file with a number for Obama? If yes, then they stay quiet. If no, then there is no legal barrier to Hawaii saying they have confirmed that there is no record on file.
Just to play with that hypothetical a little longer, would Hawaii be protecting a liar's "right to lieprivacy" by not exposing the fact that a document does not exist when a party says that it does?
Do I have a right from all the states that I wasn't born in, for those states to not expose that they don't have a birth certificate on file for me, just in case I choose to lie to somebody about it for gain?

I am not exactly sure how his being illegitimate means he perpetrated a fraud on his birth certificate.
If Obama Sr. was at the birth he and Ann could have just put Barack Hussian Obama as the name for the child. I don't see anywhere on that certificate or the DeCosta certificate where it asks if the parents are married.
Don't get me wrong, I do think something is wrong with the certificate. No decent seal or signature. Just wondering why you think his not admitting to being illegitimate makes the certificate a fraud?

It appears that since yours has the Seal and Signature on it, it is more like DeCostas because those things are NOT visible on Obama's.
I think the boarder is no big deal. Also I think the difference between accepted and filed is based on the fact DeCosta was born when Hawaii was still a territory. They are just stating that all the information provided was accepted.
