truth should triumph over nationalistic narratives. And the truth about Thanksgiving should be learned by all Americans, as it is a part of our complicated history of savage betrayal and removal of indigenous people and the colonization of their land. The actual date for the first Thanksgiving is somewhat disputed. Most put the first Thanksgiving in 1621, when the Pilgrims had a feast with the Wampanoag, an Indigenous Nation in and around Plymouth. Scholars say "Thanksgiving" is a misnomer, since the Pilgrims would have given thanks by fasting and "quiet contemplation." It would have been referred to as a "Rejoicing."...

Utah Sen. Mitt Romney revealed the two GOP presidential candidates he refuses to support under any circumstance in a “Person to Person” interview that aired on CBS News. Romney responded that he would support “anybody” except former President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy when asked by Norah O’Donnell if there was anybody he liked in the Republican field. “You know, I would uh, I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans. Maybe not Vivek. But uh, but the others that are running would be acceptable to me, and I’d be happy to vote for them,” Romney...

Senate Republicans recently introduced a measure which would forbid the flying of any flag except the American flag over government buildings. Only ONE Democrat voted for it and it missed passage by just one vote. The Democrats voted against this for obvious reasons. The LGBT lobby wields a massive amount of power in the Democrat party, and Senate Democrats know who their masters are. Congratulations to Senator Joe Manchin for being the sole Dem vote. American Greatness reports: Senate Democrats Shoot Down GOP Amendment to Fly Only the American Flag Over Government Buildings On Thursday, Senate Democrats voted against a...

The Supreme Court is poised to hear back-to-back oral arguments for two student loan-related cases on Tuesday, in what could be the final hurdle for the Biden administration’s student loan forgiveness plan. In August, President Joe Biden announced a program that would forgive up to $20,000 in debt for borrowers with federally held student loans, impacting more than 40 million borrowers. Applications for the program opened in October, but a federal judge in Texas put the program on hold in November, ruling that the program was “unlawful.” In both of the cases heading to the Supreme Court, Biden v. Nebraska—a...

The video, which has been digitally manipulated to show a text crawl at the bottom with figures of Ukrainian deaths, is actually from a climate change protest in Austria. The original video, which can still be viewed online, was filmed by Austrian news outlet OE24 in Ballhausplatz, Austria on Feb. 4, 2022, just a few weeks before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022. And no one was trying to pass it off as being from Ukraine until it entered the right-wing media ecosystem.

Here’s another tidbit from President Joe Biden’s speech Tuesday. Biden seems to be a little obsessed with the All-American title; while campaigning for John Fetterman in October, he told a crowd that his grandfather was an All-American, a story he’s told before. That story’s been debunked thoroughly, not that it stops Biden from repeating it. We’re not sure who he was complimenting, but Biden told someone that he could have been an All-American playing flankerback if he’d had him in front of him. VIDEO AT LINK.....................

If you’ve been reading my blogs for a while, you’ll know that I’m not really a big fan of democracy and all that. I don’t believe in representative forms of government, voting, elections, and the rest of the things that go along with these. However, I also hold to formalism as a principle, which means that I believe that if you have a system in place then you abide by that system until such a time as it is formally, or at least decisively changed. This is why, despite not believing in democracy, I still think elections should be done...

Journalists with CNN and CBS severely criticized President Joe Biden for having the U.S. military behind him as he gave a political speech that demonized MAGA Republicans as a dark threat to American democracy. “Whatever you think of this speech the military is supposed to be apolitical. Positioning Marines in uniform behind President Biden for a political speech flies in the face of that. It’s wrong when Democrats do it. It’s wrong when Republicans do it,” tweeted CNN’s Brianna Keilar.

It’s not quite fair?”

The right to self-defense has been recognized throughout American history and has deep roots. So why is New York persecuting a man for defending himself? House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) on Wednesday said it would be “unAmerican” not to prioritize Medicaid expansion in the Democrats's social spending package amid an intra-party clash over health care priorities.
